The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was genuinely friendly, and it was the perfect place to slow down for a bit in the middle of all the excitement that Vegas has to offer. The food was fresh, delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. Everything came out quickly, was beautifully presented, and you could tell care went into every detail. My coffee was fantastic too--rich, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. One thing that really stood out was the service. It's rare these days to find people who make you feel like they're genuinely happy you're there, but that's exactly how I felt. Those little interactions make all the difference. Whether you're staying at the hotel or just looking for a great breakfast, coffee, or lunch spot away from the chaos of the Strip, this café is absolutely worth the stop. This event offered a 35, 65, and 90 option. I signed up for the 90. This event says it's capped…read moreat 500. There were not 500 people there so I'm not sure why they closed down the online registration a day early and said it was full on the website, but they were still taking onsite registration that day. That aside the information offered on their website including what to expect from beginning to end were spot on from arrival to SAG support information to what to expect on each route. Red Rock Bicycle is the sponsor of the event. Driving from Vegas the morning of the race we were about 15 minutes late to start so we missed the coffee and muffins at the start line. The first rest stop at 22.5 miles was pretty packed. I would say they definitely could have used some more porta pottys at that location. This stop was also more off the side of the road, and I'm not one to lie my bike in dirt so I didn't venture to see what was being offered nutrition wise at the tables. The remaining rest stops 45.5 miles 54.2 and 63.5 had bike racks minus the unmanned station at 54.2. That one was a table with water tanks available. Fair enough, because at that point there were less cyclist as due to the weather conditions that day, and from what I heard, 35 and 65 became a more popular choice even if already signed up for 90. These stops offered nutrition basics, peanut butter, pickles, cookies, trail mix, candy, meat, cheese and roasted potatoes, which were awesome! They had a roulette wheel at one stop where you spun for prizes. Unfortunately, I forgot to collect mine at the finish line. The website said SAG support was from 8-5. They went above and beyond in this area. The weather conditions for the day were winds predicted up to 20 MPH so at the start of the race I asked if I threw in the towel would I be picked up and I was assured I would. It was comforting during the ride to see constant roving SAG support assisting riders and correcting a couple map mishaps in the first 20 miles of the ride. They were also very apologetic about the map mistakes, but honestly once you've signed up for 90 if you accidentally add .5 to your ride it's not a big deal. At the end of the ride we were provided with nutrition bars and a pulled pork sandwich, beans and coleslaw. I know this is an event and not necessarily a race but to be fair I don't think if you were picked up in a SAG vehicle and dropped off and missed a few miles of the race your times should be included in the overall result times as having completed something when you didn't.

After two months, the agent was not keeping me informed of offers or the house, which remained empty, I had not moved in and had not sold the house. I found out more information from my neighbors then from my agent. I called the agent's broker to let him know the lack of information I was receiving on the sale, how unhappy I was with his agent, and he didn't care. After nasty emails were exchanged, the broker gave me another realtor. This second relator seemed on top of her game at first, then she slipped into an uninformative agent. After a while, my agent stopped calling me and began communicating through emails. I don't know how knowledgeable these agents are in Mesquite. It seemed my agent(s) were working for the buyer and not me. They didn't care about what I wanted or needed to make the sale happen. Just by luck, and not because of my realtor, the house sold, After the sale, I was told by the escrow office my agent would be letting me know about the closing, when the keys would be given to the buyers and about the utilities transfer. On the day of closing, I didn't hear from my agent. I tried calling her twice, no response. I texted her, still no response. It was like, game over, she received her commission and there is no need to communicate further. To the agents, it didn't matter how they treated me while my house on was on the market. These agents make a good fortune selling homes. You would think they would care about their clients. In the end, unfortunately, all that mattered was their commission. I have a terrible perception of realtors and brokers.
