Beautiful golf course an hour and 20 minutes from Vegas.

I nice little drive North of. Vegas, Wolf Creek is an oasis in the desert. Amazing views and away from reality for a few hours.

This was a check it off the list type vibe for me. The course itself has some great views. The holes are very unique. Some breath taking views with a ton of elevation change. The course conditions were phenomenal. That's the only reason this is getting 4 stars. The carts are extremely dated. The warm up area is sub par at best. For a $400 green fee, there's certain things you'd appreciate having and a they don't have a ton there. The food at the restaurant is pretty solid and there aren't many places to eat in mesquite. So when you book your mesquite golf trip, do yourself the favor and eat there after the round. Cheers!

When my friend said that we were going to drive 90 minutes out of Las Vegas to play some golf, I was skeptical. However, when arriving at Wolf Creek I can see now how amazing this course looked. The 18 holes were laid out in and around the natural hilly terrain of Mesquite. The course was in great condition and fortunately the greens were not super speedy. By the time I played out the 18th hole I was sure I will come back to play this course next time I am in the area. The staff that ran the course were super nice and helpful.

This is a tough review because there is good and bad about this place. With regard to the scenery, I don't think that many would rival this. It will take your breath away. Wish I could have had my wife ride in a cart and take it in. The Marshalls that help you get situated and are around the course to make sure everyone is moving were super nice. And while the pro shop has every piece of memorabilia you could ever hope for, the guys working in there weren't super nice. The guys we had been paired with had also played the day before and got into an argument over a $15 pro shop credit after spending $1,300 to play those two days. It seemed petty. I was also disappointed with the golf carts. For the $330 per person that I paid for this, I expected nice carts with GPS like at Falcon Ridge, not basic ones. I also didn't think it would make it up the hill a few times and going downhill can get scary. As for the course, it is beautiful, but tough. The greens are frustrating and whoever did the pin placements must not have been having a good day. They were ridiculous. I haven't putted a ball off a green in 5-years and did it 4 times. On the super hard Par 3 3rd, I chipped to 30 feet, had a downhill putt for par. The ball barely made it to the cup then rolled 15 feet by, off the green and 10 feet down the hill. On several other holes my approach shot landed within 5 feet of the cup and rolled 30-40 feet away and/or off the green. Anytime someone was above the hole more than 20 feet away, their balls rolled a minimum of 10 feet by the cup. I have been dreaming of playing this course for years and loved the scenery, BUT I finished the round so frustrated and pissed off that I don't know if I will ever be motivated to pay those kind of green fees to have a miserable round of golf. There are so many other courses around here that cost less and offer more.

Amazing views, tricky greens. Loads of fun! Great staff, good food inside too. Only complaint would be a longer driving range, as it tops out at 200yrds, so no drivers allowed. Beyond that, awesome experience.

Wolf Creek has a fantastic 18-hole course with a great layout. The grass up against the red rock makes this one of the prettiest courses I've played, and with how many elevated tee boxes there are, you'll have some incredible views. The course itself is challenging, but fair. Lots of desert that can gobble up golf balls, but with the exception of one extremely long par three (#8), I felt that most of the holes were wide enough to give you a little room to miss. The greens rolled really smooth. The course itself is definitely five-star worthy. Three complaints (in order of least to most egregious): 1) The range is irons only--which I can forgive because they only have so much land, and they're making the most of it. 2) The course isn't in great shape, especially for what's known as a Top 100 course in America--perhaps Nevada has water restrictions with the drought its in. 3) Our group had a scary situation where one or two of our players could have been seriously injured using a golf cart through no fault of their own. The staff at the pro shop admitted that there was a safety hazard but showed no concern towards our players' safety and well-being after the incident. It's as though this happens frequently and they don't care to fix it. I'd love to come back, but hope the employees at the pro shop are more welcoming and empathetic in the future.

I was on the fence about giving a four star instead of a five star. This facility has everything except one thing. A workable driving range. So for any of you who are planning to come here. If you absolutely need to warm up with your woods, and driver. You may need to go somewhere else first to warm up. Wolf Creek only allows irons. Their driving range is backed up against the airport. With that said, and after playing a round I will never forget. Yes, it was pretty easy actually to give this place a five star rating. I've have always hear about this place. I've even watched the PGA play here once on TV. The views were immaculate on TV, and it made you want to come here. Well, I recently had a chance and I had to do it. Drove up from the Phoenix area. Spent two nights in Mesquite. Our first day of golf was at Wolf Creek. We had a frost delay, it actually snowed during the evening and was freezing in the morning. Mother nature had to do her flex, and there was nothing the course could do anything about it. Once the sun came out, and started to warm up. We couldn't have asked for a better day to golf. From the first hole, every time we drove to a new view it was just amazing. We couldn't stop saying wow, and wondered if this was the best course we've ever played? The fairways and greens were soft of course with it being wet. Tee boxes were in decent shape and leveled. To me, that is important to me. Greens, and tee boxes needs to be in great shape, and at Wolf Creek. They were. Now, if you have a hard time getting around. Some of the tee boxes will be hard to get to. The forward tees look like they will work. Overall, it was a great day. A day I will never forget, a course I will try to come back more often.

One of the best courses I have played. Course was in great condition. Greens were nice. Over all a great course.

My husband paid his money, got his cart and checked in with the attendant. Next thing we know, the worker sent out my husbands group without my husband. He then told us we had to wait for another 4 some to go before he could go which we said no. So that was a bad way to start out the round. We call on the 9th hole the grill to order food and the guy answered was very rude and said they were too busy and couldn't answer the phone and definitely couldn't bring out our order to us. He said if we wanted food we would have to come in stand in line and wait. We were hungry and NOT impressed. We pull up to park our cart when we are done and the attendant says you must stop here! You can't take the cart to your car to unload. So we unpack and carry all of our belongings to our car, meanwhile a huge group of guys go speeding by us on their carts to their car to unload. Very pretty golf course but absolutely disappointed and unimpressed.

Came here yesterday and it was my very first time golfing. We went to the canyons course…read more The course was beautiful and well taken care of and the cost was like half the cost of many course in St. George, but I'd probably not recommend that first timers come here ha. It's apparently a little bit harder of a course, and a fair amount of holes are setup so that you basically have to know what you are doing in order not to lose a 1000 balls. Apparently though there were some amenities that were provided that aren't so common at other courses. They provided a few tees, wet towels to wipe off your clubs and coolers attached to the carts with water and ice already in them. The reason I give 3 stars instead of 4 or even five was the course marshall. At about hole 16 it was getting a bit darker but we could still see perfectly fine, the Marshall drove up to us and said "this is your last hole". When we asked why, he said "don't you know it's 6 o'clock?" He acted as if there was some sort of rule that everyone has to stop at 6. However when questioning him if this was actually the case all he would say is " what are you gonna do, play in the dark?" We paid for 18 holes and were only slightly behind pace to do it in our 4.5 hour time slot. Thing is, he was not friendly about it at all, he was a jerk about it the whole time. If there really is some sort of curfew, there should be a disclaimer when we book the tee time, or it should be mentioned when we came in to pay.

Played Palmer course. Greens were in pristine condition. Rolling fast, but able to hold an approach…read moreshot. Some incredible views from some top elevated tee decks. Definitely playing this one again on the next trip!

Upon our arrival you're waiting for 30 minutes because there is one desk associate handling the 3PM check in surge on a holiday weekend. When the front desk associate gave us our amenities rundown, she mentioned the jacuzzi was out of service. Bummer. No big deal though. I had to ask about the splash pad myself which she said was ALSO not working. Not sure why she failed to mention that. Our first impression of the room was vomit. The room permeated of sitting stomach acid l, the cleaning crew didn't handle the previous stayers issues apparently. Yuck. But we persisted to stay positive and make our way to the pool. Our first sight at the pool was an overcrowded mess, way over the max occupancy with murky dirty pool water, and a half filled pungent dirty jacuzzi. Apparently they didn't want to block off the potential health hazard of hazardous, dirty standing water in the Jaccuzi? Not to mention a huge falling hazard. But it gets better. Now we get hit with a nice bloom of a smoke cloud since adjacent guests were smoking BLUNTS poolside next to kids. No staff intervention. We proceeded to turn around and leave the hotel entirely. I cannot believe how terribly ran this establishment is being a Hilton owned hotel. If you think this will have that Hilton touch, you will be unpleasantly surprised. Off to another hotel that isn't overcharging for a half open establishment.
