It's definitely a bucket list course to play at least once while you're in Mesquite.

The greens are the worst i have ever seen. they were spray painted, had weeds growing on the greens. if you are planning a golf trip to Falcon ridge AVOID this golf course. We went to the canyons course…read more The course was beautiful and well taken care of and the cost was like half the cost of many course in St. George, but I'd probably not recommend that first timers come here ha. It's apparently a little bit harder of a course, and a fair amount of holes are setup so that you basically have to know what you are doing in order not to lose a 1000 balls. Apparently though there were some amenities that were provided that aren't so common at other courses. They provided a few tees, wet towels to wipe off your clubs and coolers attached to the carts with water and ice already in them. The reason I give 3 stars instead of 4 or even five was the course marshall. At about hole 16 it was getting a bit darker but we could still see perfectly fine, the Marshall drove up to us and said "this is your last hole". When we asked why, he said "don't you know it's 6 o'clock?" He acted as if there was some sort of rule that everyone has to stop at 6. However when questioning him if this was actually the case all he would say is " what are you gonna do, play in the dark?" We paid for 18 holes and were only slightly behind pace to do it in our 4.5 hour time slot. Thing is, he was not friendly about it at all, he was a jerk about it the whole time. If there really is some sort of curfew, there should be a disclaimer when we book the tee time, or it should be mentioned when we came in to pay.

After we checked in and got to the room, I realized that I had made a mistake in the booking of the room. There was no way my husband was going to be able to get his scooter into the room. I went to the front desk and explained to Lisa the problem and she was like "not a problem" and moved us to a handicap room that was Perfect for our needs. Thank You, Lisa, for listening and understanding. The hotel is pretty inside and out. The breakfast was very nice. There was waffle makers, hot oatmeal, eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, sausage, juice, coffee just to name a few. :) There is a doggie relief area right out front with pick up bags and trash. It is not fenced though. The ONLY thing that I was NOT happy with is that they have two pride flags on the front desk. I found that very distasteful! The AMERICAN FLAG should Aways be displaced first! When I ask about why ~ I was told that because Jun is pride month. EVERY DAY IS AMERICAN FLAG DAY! Don't put one group over AMERICA'S, Vets, Service members that have paid the ultimate price for The American Flag! With that said ~ That is the reason that I did not rate my experience with 5 stars.

This motel had decent reviews on travel sites, and it's a Hilton property so we booked it, but this place is run down and not great at all. The only highlight was the breakfast lady being very nice and keeping the breakfast area clean (but the breakfasts aren't very good either (e.g. potatoes o'brien that have been unmistakenly previously frozen making them mushy). The TV in the room was hanging crooked so I took a look to figure out why. They actually bolted the TV onto the bracket crooked, making it very difficult to get it to stay level while watching. Incredibly lazy install. Then water was backing up in the shower and spilling over the shower sill into the bathroom and room. Absolutely disgusting. I mentioned these issue to maintenance man, Jose, on the way out. Also, the room overlooks the hotel front roof. There's empty caulking tubes and roofing tiles scattered around. Just incredibly lazy effort to maintain the place and keep it looking nice. We're not very particular, but would not stay here again. I've stayed in nicer Motel 6s.

The front nine greens are in horrible condition. No one said anything when booking or at the desk. They look like they were rolled with a street paver. This course is not worth the price of $200. In this condition. However, it does have Beautiful views. Lots of undulations on the back nine, with many sand traps. Won't be back.
