Well long story short. I ended up with a car my ex-wife was using and without notice she just…read moredropped if off at my sister's house as I live and work in a different state. I immediately flew that same day to Michigan to handle this unexpected and untimely event. I thought i had another car company buying the car. I send all the required paperwork. I waited two days for them to come and get the car and after the test drive they decided that they wouldn't buy it. Now I'm all freaked out. I have a vehicle registerd in a state I no longer live in and nowhere to go and I need to get back to work on the East Coast. A friend offered to let me keep the car at hos place while I try and figure things out. As I am driving the vehicle to my friend's house ...thank you Jesus...I get a call from Bryan from Give Me the Vin who gives me an offer and explains the process. I immediately take pictures and send over the documents as this is Friday late afternoon. I am informed that it will all be reviewed the following Monday and should receive a FedEx overnight with the paperwork to sign. As promised Tuesday I receive the paperwork and send it back out with the docs signed. WEd afternnon I get a text confirming everthing has been received. a couple hours later transportation company calls to pick up the vechicle. The following day another text all is complete and given the go ahead and cash the check. I made this process stressful but Give Me The Vin did not. Answered phone calls, texts and emails promptly. Communicated the entire process and held my hand to the end. Now this was a lower offer then what i originally received, but in the end Give Me The Vin stood by their word which means a lot. I couldn't more strongly encourage the use of this company to sell your vehicle. Thank you all at Give Me The Vin!!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING IN ALL RESPECTS! While the sales rep was reasonable, the overall experience…read morehas been a sh*t show. First, they fail to disclose that once you decide on a car that you are charged a $1000 non- refundable deposit. The non-refundable statement is conveniently left out. Little did I know, this was only the beginning of the shell games and deceptions. First, they lied about the wire transfer, trying to tell me that the money was not received. B.S... the funds were received by CVP Holdings, LLC on the same day as transmitted. Then, they screwed up the paperwork with an incorrect VIN. Next, I was notified that the VIN was missing a digit on the sellers title and would create additional delays. One month later and there is STILL no movement on the title, verified through CA DMV. This MUST be some kind of interest float game or perhaps illegal title jumping. Fortunately, I had already contracted with a service to have the car shipped. Do NOT trust these jokers to do ANYTHING correctly. The car arrived with a huge chunk scraped out of the fender, NOT done by the shipping company. Some jackass at Gateway improperly closed the hood and damaged the car. They flat out refuse to furnish me with copies of the paperwork signed by their notary. Now I am told that all communications must go through "management" because I was a mean person and mentioned the word ATTORNEY. CVP Holdings is run by Sal Akbani, a foreigner whose shell companies consist of numerous off shore limited liability companies. Normally, when you see this sort of shell game, the owners are engaging in tax fraud and money laundering. These morons will soon find out what fun is when they are investigated by the A.G.'s in each state, along with the IRS and state tax authorities for fraud. Avoid Gateway Classic Cars in every location, otherwise you will experience the same painful customer mistreatment. Check out Better Business Bureau complaints and TrustPilot for more information on the unethical tactics deployed by Gateway Classic Cars. EDIT--Nearly 4 years have passed and I am STILL fighting to get the title mess straightened out. This is the typical used car dealer that we all joke about, only difference is the pricing.

To make a long story short, we had my husband's old car that we needed to get rid of ASAP. I went…read moreonline to see if I could sell it to some car places here in Vegas, and Carvana gave me the best rate! Filling out the paperwork online was super easy. They asked for photos of the title, our drivers licenses, and then my marriage certificate since the title didn't match the name on my ID. But it was a fairly easy process online. Since my schedule is limited, I actually put in for the car to be picked up. Originally, I had picked an evening timeframe and they called me an hour into that timeframe to tell me that they weren't able to send anyone. Pretty frustrating. But they did re-book it for the following day. The following day, someone did come during my appointment time. It was super easy! He was only here a few minutes and ran diagnostics on the car to make sure it was good to go. Handed me a check and then towed it away. You do have to pay $40 for them to come to you, but to me it was worth it. I was able to cash the check a day later and yeah, everything worked out great. I would definitely sell my car to Carvana again because they definitely did give me the best rate out of all the places here in Vegas.

Great customer service and genuine caring attitude on making sure all of my needs were met. More recently the attitude has changed. They really don't care if you buy the car you like. They know that they will eventually sell it to someone. Because of that, the 7 day money back guarantee is just a gimmick. If the car has scratches or chip they couldn't care less. You either buy it with the damage or you don't. It's no sweat off their backs. Like I said this is my fourth Carvana purchase. They have no problem watching your sale down and returns, as they just don't care. It wasn't always like this. I think their popularity went to their head. They would rather your deal go down in flames than to fix a scratch that they should have fix before they offered it for sale. They enjoy putting you in the position of either accepting damage or returning the car. So I will probably have to live with it because I like the car and it runs good. However, this will be the last time I use them. I guess my advice is if you like a vehicle from them, all due diligence is useless since they will not negotiate under any circumstance thus making their 7 days return policy useless as leverage on a purchase. Here's a picture of the scratch that they want me to accept or return the car. Even the Carvana driver said,"the least they could do is match the paint!"
