Lack of trained personnel or don't care shout cut attitude! Recommends service/parts that is not warranted. Took a 2022 Ford Expedition in for a coolant system flush and refill with factory 56/44 antifreeze; owner provided. First time used their 50/50 antifreeze after service writer specified owners 56/44. Second time only put 2 gal in a 4 gal coolant system. Suspect the 2 gal was done the first time. Third try, put in 4 gal ish. After running vehicle 15 min on the road going home coolant reservoir tank took approx .75 gal more to fill the system. Was also told and in writing the vehicle cabin air filter was " critical" and needed changing. Filter was new and installed for only one week before being told it needed changing. Indications from others that Mesquite Ford commonly recommends repairs/parts when not needed. Be aware of your go there. read more

I took my Jeep wrangler there for an oil change, overheating issue and brake fluid replacement. After the oil change, I was informed of an oil leak from a head gasket. I had head work done at (The Shop), had them relook and they said there was no issue. Ford replaced the head gasket and no longer do I smell burning oil whenever I drove the Jeep. The overheating issue started with a thermostat being replaced at The Shop and that did not fix my problem. Ford through a process of elimination replaced radiator fan/shroud, new thermostat, water pump and were able to resolve the problem. They also worked with me regarding the total cost of repair, knocking off hundreds of dollars due to overheating trouble shooting. Being new to mesquite I didn't know where to take my RV for service so without checking reviews I took it to Ford RV repair to have it completely checked out paid them $2000. For inspection, battery,generator carb. fix drawer locks , I thought it a little expensive but for peace of mind to have a so called professional look at it was worth it. WRONG. Ist time taken out had a lot of problems that should of been caught ,thank God we found a honest rv mechanic in flagstaff Arizona. He fixed it for $76.( generator)and said they did a piss ass poor job of checking things out. read more

I highly recommend Mesquite Ford service department. I have a 2021 F150 hybrid that developed a problem with the key fob not being recognized after the truck set outside in extreme heat. (something that is almost normal here) so it would not start unless you place the fob in the slot for dead fob batteries. I took it in their service department sometime in August this year. Dalene the service adviser said she would have it looked and let me know what the problem was. Long story short, this turned into a needle in a haystack issue. After several attempts to correct the issue it has been fixed. Dalene and the service tech never gave up and I highly recommend them for their tenacity and fixing the problem. I have a 2021 Ford F150 Hybrid bought here in Las Vegas the Transmission when stopped at stop light or stop sign the truck would jerk as if someone had rear ended me. I called where I bought it, Ford Country couldn't get it in for 3 months, called Friendly Ford couldn't even get a appt they had no idea, Gaudin was 30 days and Team Ford no one would answer there service phone. I called Mesquite Ford on a Tuesday they had my truck in for an appt that Friday, my truck stayed I was issued a loaner. I've been going there for years but in the last year now they just take money and don't do the work. I usually get my oil change and tires rotated and a full check up. Ive been noticing the same tire pressure and no rotation. I made an new appointment when I was told I have 2 more appointments left in the package that is good for 2 years. I had my husband take the truck in. Then the man proceeded to tell him he only had 1 left and would need to buy another package. I call their customer service and they told me i had two still good for 2 years. So they already lied to my husband once. He goes to pick up the truck and make another appointment for our other vehicle. He has to argue with the man until the man all the suddens find the missing appointment. I then proceed to drive the truck home afterwards and decided to check my tire pressure. Tire pressure is the EXACT same and tire placement is the EXACT same. I went back to Mesquite Ford Mesquite, NV and then they acted shocked at first, then they came up with somE story about tire tread at 15% or whatever cant be switched. Which they never told us about. The part that killed me was that i went there to have them check my car out and no one thinks to check the air in my tires?!?!? I will be going anywhere else to have someone look at my car and make sure that they did some kind of work on my car. I still have 1 oil change if anyone wants it. BTW The manager was there when I went in to complain and did not step in to handle this us any manner instead said he had to go in the garage and check on something else. Worst dealership ever. I took my F350 in for a cab swap "Standard Labor Time Standards" calls for 4.3 hours. Nearly a year later after a complaint to Ford Corporate I was told it was done they knew I flew across the country and was picking up a moving trailer. Upon arrival the vehicle was not safe operating condition. They failed to provide required DMV vin forms and safety inspection forms or fix the seatbelt after a n accident rendering the vehicle uninsurable without a valid vin # Which left me stranded in a Casino with a truck and trailer that the DMV told me I could not operate without insurance for 3 weeks. I was forced to abandon the truck/ new trailer and was told to sue their Bond company Traverlers Insurance and Surity, who seemed delighted to claim "our liability is only $5000" under a mechanics bond so sue Ford for the rest. Unfortunately for them this is a title claim on the dealers $100,000.00 bond. Now Travelers and Mesquite Ford have gone silent while being investigated by the DMV and Travelers Insurance by the Department of Insurance. The tech claimed my 2003 was "so old" he couldn't find wire diagrams. Failed to provide any written estimate. Truly utter incompetence. read more

I was recently traveling from California to South Dakota and I had two lights come on in my Ford Escape. I was on the road and did not know where to go so I google ford service and I was sent to Mesquite Ford. I was hopeful in the beginning, the people were nice and polite and seemed to be eager to help me. I would soon find out that they either did not want to help me or that they saw me as someone who would go along with a repair that would cost $2300 for a dirty radiator. I showed up early in the morning and explained that my car was showing two codes one said "Transmission fault service now" and the other was "Engine power reduced to cool engine". I explained this to the service writer and then waited for a couple of hours. at that time the service came to me and said "We have bad news we are going to have to replace the condenser and radiator because there is grass and small rocks in them.". I am not sure why they did not service the transmission but I was told I needed a radiator and condenser and there was no mention of servicing the transmission. When I did not go through with the suggested radiator and condenser replacement I was charged $190 for a diagnostic test which told me I had two codes the two I informed them about when I came in. So, I was pretty much charged $190 to find out what I already knew. I am glad I do not live near this dealership because I would not go to this service center again. Be very careful when you take your vehicle to Mesquite Ford for service. They do not do what they say and you can be scammed. Beware of Brian I believe he is the service manager. We were told the diagnostic report required a repair for $625.00. When we asked for a copy of the report they didn't have one. I brought my truck here on a Friday to have a new fuel injector put in and they got right to it 6 hours and $907 later I rolled out. Mind you it was 5:30pm. I went 10 miles and it went out. The same thing I brought it in there for happened again. I had no choice but to drive it another 500 miles to Salt Lake City. Then came back on Monday at about 3:30 in the afternoon and went into the dealer and they told me I had to wait until Tuesday afternoon until they could work on it. That's almost 24 hours later after I spent $907 there. I asked them if they would pay for a hotel and they said no. So it cost me two days and $907 and yet they weren't going to fix my truck. You do the math on that and decide if you want to take your truck to this dealership. read more

I want to start of by saying the people here were fairly nice. Unlike most dealerships, we had to walk in before we were greeted; no one met us outside. When we walked in two girls were sitting at their desk stuffing their faces and didn't even get up to greet us. We worked with Mathew Shambaugh and he was very nice. I'm writing this review and only giving 1 star on their practices. Here's our story: One month ago we called informing Mathew that we wanted to sell both our fifth wheel and our truck and get into an Edge. Over the phone he told us that the dealership goes off NADA with the fifth wheel and that would be around $40,000. Our truck is worth $37,000. They offered us $30,000 for the fifth wheel which they can turn around and sell for $65,000 and they offered us $37,000 for the truck. We discussed everything over the phone before we drove over and hour pulling the fifth wheel from Las Vegas all the way to Mesquite. For the finance manager to come in and insult our intelligence and or think we were desperate. I want to make it clear that I'm more upset that they had us drive all the way up here pulling the fifth wheel with false information to bate us up here. We wasted a lot of time, time off work and money in gas. We were completely upfront on what we owed before driving up and this is how they treated us. We are neither desperate or lack intelligence so we grabbed the keys and left. They lack integrity and truthfulness. They didn't even offer us water. To be honest I'm glad we didn't use the dealership, we are on our way to camping world for consignment!! To sell the fifth wheel for $60,000. The service was actually pretty fast but the problem was when I came out to drive my truck away there was grease in a while over the paint and inside the door and on the steering well not to mention my seat had been moved so now I have to sit there and readjust my seat it's just the little things that kind of piss you off. Did a great job getting me into my ecosport and we later went over and bought a Explorer from them. I was told at the time that the Ecosport was a flat tow and one of the cool things about this car is it can be flat towed. SOLD!!!! Forward about 9 months and I take this same ecosport into this same dealers service department and asked to have the baseplate put on. Told it could not be flat towed. Asked if they could help me find a vehicle I can flat tow and the salesman came back with wanting a big down payment for a different vehicle. We declined and received an e mail from the stores general manager asking how he could help. Totally appreciated his concern, so I asked him if he could help find a way to solve our problem. That was 3 days ago. Ghosted! I was thinking that I had found a reputable car/service business that I could depend on. We moved to Mesquite in July of 2019 and purchase 2 new vehicles about every 2-3 years. Will be looking elsewhere in the future! read more

I had a flat and called to see it the tires I purchased had free repair. Not sure if my regular service advisor was having a bad day but she was unclear on the phone I asked a question 3 times she would not answer, she just kept asking when I could come in. I hung up and took the tire down an hour later, I again asked if it was covered and with an attitude she said "I already explained that", she had not. Am an Escape Trailer owner and heard about another owner being stranded at Bryce Canyon NP due to their 2013 F-150 having the dreaded orange wrench icon with a stall. The two Ford dealers closest to them evidently said they were three weeks out for appointments! These folks had to get back to Ohio and return to work. First let me say..I did not buy a vehicle from these folks..but...I was traveling through when I discovered my rv leaking water....I called at the end of the day and the service manager told me to bring it in. Their rv tech found and fixed the issue (water pump had come loose) in 30 minutes. Since I did not buy the rv from them I thought they would hit me with a pretty good service charge but.... no charge!!!!! They helped me out because that is the sort of dealer they are. This is the kind of dealer people would like to have but very few dealers have this kind of integrity and service level.
