Mike at Bell Tuning is the most TRUSTWORTHY and helpful mechanic I've ever met. Hands down. My girlfriend and I were traveling cross country from LA to Nebraska and broke down right outside Mesquite late in the night. Dead engine. We used AAA and our tow-truck driver highly recommended Mike at Bell Tuning. We stayed at a hotel and Mike called me the next morning, informing me he was already in the process of dealing with Kia, trying to get it approved for a recall so they'd pick it up and fix it for free. Keep in mind, this means he'd make no money off this expensive repair. We reached out to Kia as well and they unfortunately said no on the recall because the car had over 100,000 miles and was past the recall date. Mike allowed us lots of time to figure out what we needed to do and gave us the option of a great deal on a refurbished engine if we wanted it. We continued trying to make the recall happen, calling various Kias in Vegas and St. George. Mike even hopped on a three-way call with us and a Kia representative, explaining why they should replace the engine for free, even though this meant he'd make no money off our broken down car. It was his testimony that ultimately persuaded the St. George Kia to fix the car for free. Mike even helped facilitate the tow pick-up with AAA to get it to St. George, since we were back in Nebraska. Thanks to Mike's helpfulness and honesty I got a brand new engine in my Kia FOR FREE! Mike and his team were amazing! Truly some of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've met, especially when it comes to diesels. My family and I were on a road trip and my dad's truck broke down. In a very stressful situation, Mike did everything he could to make our lives easier. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem (a blown high pressure engine oil pump) and discussed all our options for getting this truck fixed and how to continue on our trip. He drove my parents to the nearby shuttle so they could head to Vegas for a rental car and drove me to a hotel. Had my car towed to the shop after my wheel came off. I had my insurance come out and inspect the vehicle only the wheel needed to be replaced. I decided to leave my car there until the new wheel arived (took over two weeks) I came to the shop regularly to check on the status of the wheels arrival. During a visit Brian who was not the tech who worked on my car let me know that he drove my car (said it ran smooth). When I finally came back to pick my car up it did not run in any way than when I left it. The tech "troubleshooted" my car and said it sounded like a clutch issue (not something I had ever had an issue with in the past) and also clamed that the oil was low (which was absolutely false) The owner took off as fast as he could as he claimed that he had somewhere else to be. I approached the shop at a later date, and tried to be professional in airing my greavences and was told by the owner "I should just accept that there was something wrong with my car", and to "get out of his shop". Upon collecting my car there was almost no tread on the rear tires, the alternator was burned out, the clutch was burned out, and the flywheel needed to be replaced. I always took care of my car, and had instilled my trust in Bell by leaving it there as long as I did which is my mistake. The amount of money I've had to expend to get it back running is staggering. Please think before you take your vehicle here unless you have no other choice. read more

We recently had to drop off our trailer here in the middle of the night. By early next morning, the guys at Bell Tuning had looked into our frozen wheel bearing problem, taken it apart, and made many calls to try to get parts. Unfortunately, we needed a replacement for a part that was no longer supported or available. Driving along the I 15 headed to Arizona after a wedding and bam our battery light on the dash lights up. It is 3:30 on a Saturday. We Siri for auto mechanics and Bell shows up with 5 stars. We call and they had just called but said bring it in and we will see what we can do. They immediately test it and find out it is the alternator.
