Okay, I'm almost afraid to recommend Dr. Chung for fear he will become inaccessible when I need to…read moresee him, but he's such an amazing doctor, and Signature Medical Group is such an amazing practice, I feel I owe it to him to thank him, but telling others what a great doctor he is. He could easily win the primary care doctor of the year award, in my opinion. I have to be honest; I am not a huge fan of doctors or the medical field, for the most part. I have had some pretty awful and traumatizing experiences at the hands of the medical profession over the course of my life, and so I had been without a primary care doctor for a number of years before I found Dr. Chung. I was going with the, if I don't think about it I'll be fine mentality. However, it became clear I really did need to see a doctor, and so an extended family member suggested I see a colleague of his, who was not taking patients. Dr. Chung was new to the practice, and so I thought, okay, I guess I could give him a try, but I steeled myself, for what I assumed would be a horrible experience. My first visit with Dr. Chung was a game changer. I wanted to hug him after my visit and all of his staff as well. He LISTENED! HE LISTENED! HE CLEARLY ACTUALLY HEARD WHAT I HAD SAID TO HIM. HE MADE OBSERVATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS! HE NEVER GAVE ORDERS. He was, at ALL times, respectful, thoughtful and I felt so comfortable with him. In the past 5 or so years that I have been Dr. Chung's patient, I have never had a negative experience with his practice, (Okay, one time, one of the office staff was crabby, but hey, we all have off days sometimes, and it wasn't a big deal, just a tiny bit of edge). After I met Dr. Chung, I immediately scheduled my kids, and my mom with him, and now pretty much my entire family call Dr. Chung when they need a doctor. Seriously, he's an awesome doctor! I wish he could clone himself. Oh, by the way, the rest of the practice is pretty amazing too. I've occasionally had to see Dr. Chung's colleagues when he's been on vacation and they are just as awesome as he is. The support staff are great too; very kind, thoughtful, gentle, non-frightening, and so comfortable to be with. Thank you Signature Medical Group, you've changed my mind about doctors.

I grew up hating doctors. H-a-t-i-n-g doctors. They always found something wrong with me…read more(particularly my chunkiness) and treated me like a number. They were always slow to see me and quick to leave... And then there were the sterile (har) personalities. So imagine my shock when, several years ago, I met Laura Demarco-Paitl, doctor extraordinaire. She completely broke the stereotype created by my former experiences. She is the most down to earth doctor that I have ever come across (whenever she's leaving me a voice-mail she starts with "Hi this is Laura" in a super upbeat friendly voice), she's kind (even when delivering harder news and knowing that I am always hard on myself, she's always like "it's not as bad as you thought and here's what we can do"), she's personal (asks me about my dogs EVERY time I see her, and prior to this month I hadn't seen her for six). She takes her time with me, sympathizes with my adversion to needles, and always, always makes sure that I understand what's up with my everything. I have recommended numerous folks to her and every single one of them adore her as much as I do. I even debated not writing this review because I'm selfish and don't want to have to wait to see her. But that wouldn't be very yelp-y of me now would it? Alas, nothing is 100% perfect and the drawback I have is being able to get in RIGHTNOW. If I'm sick enough to call I want to see her that day, not the next. There's been only a few times that I haven't gotten my sickly (and therefore extra whiney) way immediately, and it's annoying but I understand. I have to share this remarkable woman with the other injured and sick. But I am so comfortable and trust her so much that I deal with it. And make sure to book any foreseeable appointments months in advance because she's definitely worth it. I highly recommend that you do the same.

I keep receiving 2$, 5$ bills from them for the remainder of what my insurance wouldn't pay…read more Really? A 2$ bill that gets upped when it's not paid within 2 weeks? Just bad business. I really will not be coming back EVER again. Thanks Signature Medical.

I made and have an appointment with a cardioligist today with this group. Duly Health & Care. I was…read moretold that they do not take my insurance when I called to verify the address for my appointment. They transferred me to the Cardioligist department who never picked up. I have been transferred around like a basketball today and each person had to verify my information and then said they would transfer me to the right department. This was the WORST SERVICE EVER! IF THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY I would be in grave trouble. I was never able to talk to the right group but, I was transferred at least (8) times because the person on the line could not resolve my issue. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GROUP IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF A CARDIOLIGIST

Dupage Medical Group has always been my provider and I've never had a problem prior to the Duly…read moremerger. All Duly doctors are in my network from Blue Cross. Duly knows this and in fact charges me the in network fee at the time of the appointment which I promptly pay. Recently, Blue Cross has started saying that my doctors are out of network. They say that it is because Duly has provided incorrect information and needs to correct it. Duly's response to me is that they have done nothing wrong. File a complaint with the insurance company. I have probably spent 10 hours of my waning life on this. It almost seems like somebody made a big bonus slashing the back office expenses for the next hedge fund sale. I guess that trying hard to return Ill gotten insurance proceeds would also have a deleterious impact on net operating income for that next hedge fund sale. I am writing this for 3 reasons: 1. I would actually like some help with this from the company for a change. 2. If there is something systematic in this, there may be many other old codgers who have been paying too much (as I did before I noticed what was going on) because they thought Duly was the same old Dupage Medical Group who they had come to trust. 3. Next hedge fund: Look very closely at how much you'll have to spend to rebuild the decimated back office or refund improper billings. Further, if anyone else is experiencing this in network/out of network phenomenon with Duly, one of the Duly miscues that Blue Cross mentioned to me is that they had a mismatching Federal Tax ID for my doctor. The ID on the billing did not match the Federal Tax ID which Duly had given to Blue Cross. If they don't match, I'm told that Blue Cross considers it out of network. This "might" be an honest mistake with a merger. Saying it is the patient's problem is unconscionable.
