Dr. Oswald and her nurse were condescending during multiple contacts and told me that I was inventing her symptoms and refused to discuss treatment options. Dr. Oswald was often rushed and didn't have time to finish appointments and prescribed me a medication that I did not need while rushing out the door. She also prescribed a medication for my daughter that was not the FDA approved medication for the medical issue that she was experiencing.

Aetna/CVS Caremark worked through my prescriptions in detail, contacted Northwestern Medicine for the ones prescribed by those doctors, with no problem and these prescriptions are on the way. However, Duly is not returning their calls. For days now, I have gotten texts asking me to get my provider to contact them. So I call Duly, get placed on hold, from the hold they drop me back into the phone queue. I leave a message for them to call me. They call me, I ask not to be placed on hold, they put me on hold anyway and I get dropped back into the initial phone queue. (I suspect this is also happening to pharmacies who call them.) Eventually, someone calls me back and tells me it is my responsibility to find out the Pharmacy's address. Since Northwestern is already shipping the prescriptions I got from them, I went to my Northwestern MyChart, copied the new pharmacy address from there and tried to enter it into my Duly mychart. Duly's MyChart won't accept it. I messaged through MyChart, explaining the problem, including the address. Of the 4 options for tagging the message, the only one that made sense was 'Insurance'. Got a reply message that I had reached the wrong department. Have now messaged with a tagline "medical question". If that doesn't work, registered letters are next. So far I've spent over 6 hours (including all the phone calls and holds with all parties) trying to get this simple issue taken care of. Still not resolved.

The doctors may be wonderful, but this organization is a disgrace…read more Let's say that you are a patient of a doctor who practices at the downtown Wheaton office, for example. Lucky you! That office recently changed its phone system so that there is no way to contact your doctor's office directly and you now get to play the phone tree lottery if you ever have a question that can't be answered by the Duly app. Say, for example, you have a question about a test result in MyChart, released to you weeks ago but which has yet to be reviewed by your (likely overworked) doctor, notwithstanding that handy on-line "message" feature. You now get to call a central scheduling number (which sounds like it goes to an overseas call center) and then have the joyful opportunity to convince (beg) an operator to transfer your call to your doctor or nurse's office. Patient privacy? Forget it! They will ask to know why you think you are entitled to have your call put through so, yes, expect to disclose whatever condition you have to a total stranger so they can judge whether you are worthy to continue your attempt to leave a message for your doctor. Did you successfully pass the gatekeeper of the phone lines? Great. Now wait on hold for 10-15 minutes until given the option to leave a callback number, and hope that someone from your doctor's office takes pity on you and calls you back. (unless your call is dropped first, which means starting the process over again.) It is quite possibly that the end result of your efforts will be a call from a nurse who has never met your doctor and is "helping" from a "remote location" but is happy to "pass on your message". Did you instead get a call from a nurse who actually works with and knows your doctor? Congrats, you just won the lottery. TLDR: Don't bother asking your doctor for a direct line or expecting to be able to communicate after your office visit. Duly in its wisdom has decided that is not efficient.

This was for a physical exam, my first time with this doctor as we are new to the area. First thing she asked me when she sat down at the computer? "What are we going to do about that number?" (re: my weight). Mind you, I'm 70 lbs down from several years ago, and am very athletic. Not only was this brought up once but twice. She never knocked before entering the exam room and once walked in while I was dressing and had no shirt on (the doctors hub/work area was right in front of the exam door). I also received no blood work which is something my previous primary care doctor did every single year, regardless. I won't be back. I'd rather travel 30 min into the city for my old tried and true doctor.

This man has no credentials to be offering therapy to anyone. He got a Master's degree but never took (or didn't pass?) the state qualifying exam to be a therapist. The actual care providers (Docs, nurses, etc) are genrally good. But the problems happen with internal procedures and processes that are rigidly followed without anyone being able to explain them. When you ask to speak with someone higher up, the only answer you get is "no!" As for patient advocacy and the customer service departments, they are unhelpful for the same reasons. I've asked multiple times to be contacted by someone, it never happens. I'm not listing my specific service breakdowns here as this is already long. I do wonder what I'm worth in terms of lifetime revenue and profit to Duly? Surely they have this kind of data. It can't be a small amount. Sadly, Duly acts as if they have no competition or maybe they just don't care enough to have their leadership start with the customer/patient in mind. Duly Health and "Care". They should remove the last word from their name because they either don't want to, or simply can't live up to the definition of that word. It's great for marketing their brand, but they currently can't execute it. Don't choose Duly I'm general or even a specific provider affiliated with Duly. Go somewhere else. You may just save yourself a few unnecessary headaches!

There is absolutely no assurance the off-shore site is going to do anything and have proven it to that face on too many dates. Duly My Chart is NOT reliable. Too many overlooks for requests, messages, and if you get a response it is inadequate and lacking. I do like my GP but it isn't worth staying around when I am trying to manage my health and then get the run-around from Duly's less than professional customer service.

Since I had a growth in my thyroid, I was intrigued. It was very Susan Pewter "Stop the Insanity"! I thought it was humorous, but also hit a chord with my beliefs to find "nontraditional" ways to treat illness. It summarized the book, which was about treating the thyroid in an unconventional way -with natural supplements and herbs instead of drugs so commonly used. On the back, it showcased Dr. Fred Schultz, M.D, who practices an integrative approach to healing -using "traditional" methods as well as herbal supplementation, nutritional recommendations and a "healthy living" approach. He has successfully treated a variety of patients with multiple sclerosis, cancer and chronic fatigue syndrome to name a few. I took the flyer off the wall and kept it for reference, planning one day to visit. As I continued on my mission to heal myself from several serious issues, I found it was the right time to pay a visit. Even though Dr. Schultz is booked 3 months out, I was put on the waiting list and got a call a few days later. It was fate! It was a 6pm appointment so I would be able to go after work. He is located in Wheaton in a very nice professional building, right off Roosevelt Rd. My appointment was approximately an hour and a half! Dr. Schultz spent the time necessary with me to go over all my records and discuss, in detail, what my symptoms were. We put together a plan and I will go for a follow up in several weeks. What I liked most is that his approach is to find the root cause of why I'm having so many issues. It is easy to say, "You have 'xyz', here are some drugs." He actually pointed out things in my records that no one had addressed. I was actually embarrassed I had not seen those red flags myself. I learned it is important to be an advocate for your own health and READ your own records! I am very grateful for the experience and am excited to update this review with good news to a speedy recovery!

He has treated three generations of our…read morefamily because we all first saw how fantastically he got my granddaughter back from a terribly serious case of Lyme Disease. Her family had taken her all over the Chicagoland area...the next step would have been Mayo Clinic. No one was able to diagnose her correctly much less treat her and to the point of complete recovery. She was fourteen then and this May of 2017 she graduates from college. After that, he straightened out her thyroid problems. Since then, both her mother and I have been treated for Lyme disease and thyroid issues. Her mother also has other issues having to do with sclerotic inner tissues. He's the best and so are his staff. In my case, I travel a considerable distance for his services. Now my GP asks me when he wants me to run something by Dr. Schultz.... not because my GP is incompetent, but because he, too, has come to have great respect for the diagnostic skills of Dr. Schultz.
