It took six weeks for Walgreens to get it right. At one point they actually transferred what they had transferred from my previous provider back to my previous provider. It was a nightmare. Now after using Walgreens pharmacy for almost a year, I am so tired of the numerous texts and phone calls and prescriptions constantly being out of stock or delayed delivery for some other reason that I am switching back to my prior, more expensive insurance policy, just so I don't have to deal with Walgreens anymore.

After not receiving it that week, I called again and was told that the prescription was no longer being produced and that the pharmacy would contact the doctor. I inquired a third time and was told that they had contacted the doctor but had not heard back. They told me to contact the doctor. I did. The doctor had not been contacted, so the office contacted Walgreens and was told that the Rx was simply out of stock but they would try to get it elsewhere. I then called Walgreens and was told the same, that it was out of stock. I asked the technician to determine if it was out of stock or simply no longer being produced. After double checking, the technician determined that it was no longer being produced. I asked her to contact the doctor to determine next steps. I also called the doctor again. Over three weeks. Still waiting... ZERO STARS for Ft Jesse Walgreens. I changed insurance at the beginning of the year, and Walgreens had to request transfer of existing prescriptions from my prior pharmacy. It literally took them weeks to get it straight. I found out that they only requested some, not all, prescriptions to be transferred. At that point, they ended up sending all transferred prescriptions BACK to the original pharmacy then had to start all over again. I'm changing insurance policies to go to a different pharmacy and will pay a higher premium just so I no longer have to deal with Walgreen's ineptitude.

The pharmacy is worthless. They have extremely lazy and rude employees. I can't understand why it takes them so long, as I worked in a pharmacy that was just as busy and most times we were even able to fill the prescriptions in less than 15 minutes with even fewer employees, it almost seems as they are intentionally being rude and lazy to anger people enough that they take their business elsewhere. Now they are no longer open on Saturdays and Sundays. The Walgreens pharmacy on S. Main puts this one to shame as they seem to appreciate keeping themselves in business. I believe the pharmacist and techs at this location neglected to learn the skill of providing good customer service, because I have yet to encounter one that can demonstrate it.
