They were professional and did the best they could. Walgreens in my opinion is highly overrated. They need to pay the staff they have more and higher more staff. The public also needs to spread out their business as to not overwhelm just one location. There are MANY pharmacies to choose from in Bloomington/Normal that take ALL insurances.

I don't normally get my prescriptions here but was forced to because my pharmacy isn't 24 hours. I went to the Walgreens on Fort Jesse, told Andrew my issues, and he resolved my issue in 5 minutes. Kudos to work ethic, compassion, and expediency.

I can't understand why it takes them so long, as I worked in a pharmacy that was just as busy and most times we were even able to fill the prescriptions in less than 15 minutes with even fewer employees, it almost seems as they are intentionally being rude and lazy to anger people enough that they take their business elsewhere. Now they are no longer open on Saturdays and Sundays. The Walgreens pharmacy on S. Main puts this one to shame as they seem to appreciate keeping themselves in business. I believe the pharmacist and techs at this location neglected to learn the skill of providing good customer service, because I have yet to encounter one that can demonstrate it.

They seem to generally have plenty of cashiers available and a fresh inviting produce section. There is a Starbucks right inside the store entrance. No deals there just the convenience of one stop shopping. A few observations: -They have a loyalty program where you register and trade your buying history for fuel points (rewards) toward the purchase of gas at the Kroger fuel station. In order to get the lowest advertised store price on Kroger merchandise you have to scan your card or provide your phone number. A strategy might be to use a common family phone number to more quickly build rewards. -Rather than BOGO their deal is Buy 5 Save 5. So on a frozen vegetable instead of paying the Kroger loyalty price of 2.29 you pay 1.29 each if you buy 5 in the same brand and category. Seems like a deal if they have sufficient stock when you are shopping. Wednesday is when the weekly store ad/specials drop so probably the best day to shop. -They have a 'Last Chance' section where they offer clearance prices on stickered merchandise. Aisle 8 when I was there. A quick scan and a check of expiration dates can net a bargain. -Kroger offers online digital coupons that you can clip after you download and register through their app. Check the app privacy details for the many ways Kroger can gather and sell your personal information including to third party advertisers.

I found her waiting in the cooler in the floral department. I was searching for an arrangement to drop off at my friend's office to brighten her day. This was a lot of flower power for $50 - fragrant stems, heavy pitcher for a vase and generous bouquet. My friend immediately commented on how wonderful the roses smelled! It totally made her day! There were a number of to-go arrangements in beautiful colors in all shapes and sizes. The man in front of me at checkout was picking up four dozen roses for his wedding anniversary - all beautiful! Friendly cashier helped me with checkout and removing the price tag. If you don't need delivery, I'd stop by here for your next arrangement - I think items a better bang for your hard-earned bucks!
