four glasses of cid
Lindsay D.

Amazing cidery! Was lucky enough to stop by here while on a road trip. Hours are a bit limited as they arent open around lunchtime, but it's worth the wait. We happened to catch the end of the Valentine's special which was a strawberries and cream nitro cider. Wish they could can this cider or have it on tap for growlers as it was by favourite hands down. The other ciders are all pretty tasty. I recommend getting a flight to try as many as you can. Service was super friendly and there is free popcorn that you can help yourself to in the corner. Seems like a popular local hangout. Loved the board where you could purchase pints for friends.

Review update! Still awesome! Still Amazing! And, still such nice people that work and play here! Kudos to your Everything Nice, and to your Hopped Cider!

One delicious, accidentally semi spilled, flight of ciders!

On a hot summer day sometimes getting some cold delicious cider is the right way to live. I live right! They have a bunch of quality ciders on tap, different flavors and some randomness. All in all this is a bit of a place you could drive by all day long but is a worthy stopping point. There is a nice little outside patio but enjoying the AC and having a flight or a pint inside is the way to live. I recommend the semi-sweet cider, it hit the spot for sure!

This place is a MUST visit while you're in Boise. Who doesn't want to try the BEST local cider in the state? We stumbled in here by accident after seeing their cider in Trader Joe's. I am so happy we did. When you walk inside you'll see the bar, some tables and some games to play. They had 8 different types of cider to taste. We tried all of them and were not disappointed by any. I am a fan of sweet ciders, so I was a happy camper. Personally, I love buying local, so this place was perfect. There is an article in the bathroom that tells you how Meriwether was started, and it warmed my heart. The bartender was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. We bought a growler for the road and I'm happy we did! I wish I was local so I could visit here more often.

As good as it gets for cider!

I am a huge fan of Meriwether Cider Company! The people are always welcoming and the cider is the best in the valley. The Ginger Root is by far the best in my opinion but everything they make is great! The Sangria made in a collaboration with Potter Wines was amazing as a frozen slushy or in its regular form. Their habanero cider is pretty fantastic as well!! A truly great bunch of people and great ciders!

Really great ciders with a good selection. Super friendly and excited. Open and clean atmosphere. The only issue is $20 to fill a growler. Will definitely be coming back.

A relaxing Meriwether respit.

Really a remarkable local cider maker. Great facility, local snacks, the occasional upscale food truck. Always a delightful staff. Insane variety with surprising specials. Sunday Cider-Mosa's are WOW.

Solid ciders and good service. Great variety, but try the Meriwether flight. It's delicious.

I'm just going to say it, I had low expectations when we planned on going out here to eat. I'm…read moresomeone who typically goes to the chain restaurants and grabs quick, easy meals. I don't really like to "eat healthy"," but I'm not against it. When I saw the menu, I didn't really see anything that stood out to me, but I went for the chorizo and ordered a few apps for the table. The apps knocked my socks off. For apps, we got the bread, salad, and spinach dip. The bread was so good and you could taste the quality. And the spreads (maple and garlic) were amazing. Same goes for the salad and the dip, I never tasted delicious kale before. The entree was a generous portion of chorizo, egg, and something else I wasn't sure, but tasted like a healthy rice. All in all, I loved everything about the food and the farm is nice to stroll around and let the kids check out as well (they have sheep greeting you as you pull into the parking lot). I will say, the prices are a little on the higher end of what I anticipated, but it's all justified with the taste and knowing everything is directly from farm to table. Plus, the wait staff was super friendly and the facilities are really clean. 5/5 all around.

He is so friendly and gives great recommendations. He always ask's my style preference and it's usually an IPA of some sort. He has the largest selection of craft beer from all over that I've seen in Boise and surrounding areas. I'm sure he'll have something you'll enjoy. Food doesn't disappoint either. I've only ever seen an older gentleman in the kitchen and he surely knows what he is doing. Last week, I had the Habanero Bacon Grilled Cheese and it was AMAZING and I've thought about it all week. Sports are on the TV's, he also has games that you can play at your table. It's a super chill place. I better get ready for the gym, so I can get my "weekly treat."

It's down to 6 appetizers, 4 burgers, and 2 salads to choose from. Disappointed at that surprise as I was going there primarily for dinner and to have a beer. Cubano, French Dip, all gone. Many times when a restaurant cuts their menu, they can do better quality control. Not the case here - 3 stars. Twisted, Sweet & Smoky Burger was okay. Roasted red pepper had a nice sweet balance to the thick cut smoked bacon. Unfortunately, bacon very dry/overcooked so it was chewy like an oversized bacon bit. And I guess I'm generally not a fan of frozen Wagyu patties. They aren't juicy and tend to be chewy. So, too much dry and chewy in the burger. I tried a few of my friend's fries, and kind of the same thing. Very dry, chewy, and tough. Way too much garlic salt. I can't tell if they were freezer burned or they had been sitting above a fryer thawing for a while before they were dropped for the order. Glad I didn't order them. For a Friday at 6pm, seemed understaffed but the front of house employee was friendly despite running around like crazy. They do offer outside seating, bar seating, high tables, and regular tables, which is a nice blend of options. If all I wanted was a beer and a Bavarian Pretzel, this is a great place to go.
