I really wanted to bring them on my trip, so I called Leanne. She was able to hem the pants perfectly and I picked them up 24 hours later. I was pretty desperate and willing to go with the first person who would give me an appointment, but in the end I lucked out. I contacted Ace on a Saturday, heard back within a couple of hours, went in for consultation that Monday, and had the jacket back by Thursday afternoon in time to wear it on Friday. All this despite the fact that HK was clearly working on a lot of other projects. The alteration consisted of taking in the sides of the jacket to slim it; HK did that perfectly and at a very reasonable price. Please don't do what I did, but if you must, you can trust HK with your alteration needs, even on short notice.

I pointed out what was wrong, but instead of fixing it or offering a refund, they just told me it "couldn't be fixed." I paid $65 for work that not only ruined my jeans but also came with zero accountability. It makes no sense that a tailor can't correct their own mistakes.
