VIP Tires & Service - This is what happens if you hit a granite curb. Thank you, Mark for helping me get home safely.

    VIP Tires & Service

We are very happy with the work that VIP did for our car. They were courteous and helpful in a time…read morewhere we needed it, much. About their marketing and branding: it's very efficient! I told our tow truck driver to take the car there thinking it was another place I was familiar with. I had never been to VIP but somehow the branding stayed in my mind. :) They were able to work with us while we were traveling and we are grateful. Their prices are fair and the service was excellent. We needed a battery and they were able to store the car, for a daily fee, until we could pick it up.

Extremely overpriced and unprofessional customer service. The staff was rude over the phone and…read moretook advantage of my girlfriend, who doesn't know much about cars. She originally went in because she simply needed a flat tire patched. Instead, after taking the vehicle to VIP Tires, they were unable to remove the tire and ended up breaking a wheel stud and lug nut in the process. They then charged her an additional $435 to replace the stud and lug nut that they damaged themselves, claiming it was a 2.7-hour job at $189 per hour. Charging that much for a stud and lug nut replacement, especially after the damage occurred while they were servicing the vehicle, is completely unreasonable. The entire experience was frustrating, overpriced, and left me questioning the way they treat customers who may not have extensive automotive knowledge. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion and asking for a detailed breakdown of any charges before agreeing to additional work.

Avoid this location like the plague. Two reasons: terrible…read morequality control and a manager who is truly vicious. I had Jiffy Lube batteries installed in two different cars. When the first one failed after a few months, the manager Anthony told me it wasn't the battery it was my alternator which they can't test. I paid Midas to test it. They said it was fine. I paid to have the dealer look at it and they said Jiffy Lube installed the wrong battery. Anthony was not only insistent that they'd installed the right battery. When I tried to point out the error he immediately interrupted me and talked over me, not letting me say a single word that he wasn't speaking over. It was bizarre, awful, rude, and obviously very upsetting since he smiles just fine when someone isn't saying something he doesn't want to hear. It was truly malignant behavior. I had the dealer install the correct battery and Jiffy Lube national apologized and refunded my purchase price. Fast forward six months and the battery in the other car failed within the warranty period. As with before, I had to jump it numerous times. I brought it in and was told that it tested fine and the problem was the alternator. They called Anthony, still the manager but not in the branch that day. He reiterated it's not the battery it's the alternator. When I mentioned that this was the same situation I'd experienced before, Anthony said that was "entirely irrelevant." He talked on another two or three minutes. When I started to say, quite calmly, "I dont think it's entirely irrelevant" - he started speaking over me. When I asked if I could make my case, he spoke over me. He would not let me say a single word. Literally not a word. Our conversation was on a speaker phone. His staff could all hear his approach. I was embarrassed for them to hear their manager treat a customer so awfully. Fast forward, the dealer tested the alternator. It's working perfectly. They tested the battery and it failed. They said the plates are faulty. Once again I'm out for having the system tested. And now Jiffy Lube is being a challenge since that location was sold and they are trying to pass me off to the manufacturer which tells me I need to speak with Jiffy Lube. Oh, and I was told that when Jiffy Lube did the last oil change they didn't install a drain plug gasket. Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM THIS TOXIC LOCATION!!

Stop by after work. Everything seem fine. However they didnt hit the reset button, so its still…read moreshowing maintenance light. Also they were out of paper and was going to email me a copy. Still havent got it.
