YES, sometimes the techs speak to each other in Vietnamese, but I've never had the sense they were talking about me ... and in fact, they will sometimes explain to me what they're talking about (usually family, or teasing each other, etc). My dip nails always look great when I leave and they always do exactly what I want. as re: length, shape, etc. Once had a small chip in one that developed a couple of days later, went back & the repair was $0. The shop is clean and welcoming. I would recommend this place without reservation.

I made an appointment online, and it was for gel nails. I wanted both my fingers and toes to be gel. The salon is beautiful! It is in a great location too, but the staff is not friendly or welcoming. When I got there for my appointment, there was no one at the door and I had to find a staff member to tell them I was there to check in. After they checked me in , they took me to a chair to start my pedicure. They then asked me what color I wanted... I didn't pick this out, they brought colors to me. Which was ok, but this is normally done before you sit down. After I picked my color, I was then told that they don't do gel on the toes. It was fine and I guess not that big of a deal. After my toes were done, I sat and got my nails done. I wanted a French tip with pink instead of white. They could have been better, and I feel my nail specialist was rushing. For the price and the quality of work, I don't know if I will return.

I want to commend this business for having such a wonderful staff of artists working there to make…read morecustomers feel taken care of and comfortable. Having said that, I did not go there for that experience and while it always helps, at the end of the day I went there to get my nails done. I had been referred to by a coworker and that combined with the reviews on Yelp were the motivating factor to choose Kiss My Nails over other competitors. I would have given this business 5 stars if it had not been for these three things: * They did not push my cuticles down (and to be honest I did not even realize this at first) I believe the nails would've looked nicer and neater had the cuticles been pushed and the excess skin trimmed off. * The shape of the nail is not natural, IMHO. You can see in one of the pictures how the actual nail is very flat and does not have a natural curve/dome in the middle. They could have shaped them and built up a little gel in that middle area to create an appealing curvature to the nail. * They left topcoat on and around and under my nails. You can barely see this in the picture, but that is because I cleaned up the dried up topcoat with acetone when I got home. Dried up topcoat on the skin is very uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I was expecting that at the very least. Having said all that, I would recommend the place and will probably go again with the constructive criticism I have listed here. If they correct the things I mention the second time, I would definitely consider making it my go-to nail salon, but that's not the case at the moment.

My mom passed away two weeks ago, and at 38 weeks pregnant I decided to take my two daughters (15…read moreand 3) here for services so we could unwind and have a comforting day together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was unfriendly. Unlike other patrons, we were never offered beverages. My daughters' pedicure lasted no more than 15 minutes and this was her very first actual pedicure. The polish had to be redone twice because it was clumpy and poorly applied and honestly, it looked as though a child had done it. The "foot massage" I received was not a massage at all, even after I specifically asked if she could actually massage my feet. When the service was finished, my feet looked no different than when I walked in. What upset me most was how my 3-year-old was treated. The nail tech who assisted her was mean and visibly impatient. It reached a point where my daughter asked to go home because she was sad. She is accustomed to getting her nails done, this was something she often did with my mom, so this experience was especially heartbreaking. This was our first time at this salon, and it will absolutely be our last. What was meant to be a relaxing and healing day turned into an unnecessary expensive, stressful and upsetting experience. We were treated like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. I would not recommend this establishment.
