Is there an option to leave zero stars?…read more I spent over $5,000 on flooring that was sold with a "lifetime warranty." After installation, I started noticing multiple cracks, eventually up to ten across the floor, so I filed a warranty claim. I followed their entire process, including having an inspector come out, only to receive a report that made no sense. The claim was denied based on "improper installation," specifically stating the flooring was installed flush to the baseboards. That's simply not true. A proper half-inch expansion gap was left, exactly as outlined in the installation guidelines. Frankly, once they sent out their inspector, it became clear the outcome was predetermined. Instead of standing behind their product, they looked for any reason to deny the claim, and they found one. What's most frustrating is that I had flooring installed in the same home, using the same method, for five years without a single issue. The only thing that changed was the product color and brand, which strongly suggests this is a product defect, not an installation problem. Bottom line, don't put much faith in the "lifetime warranty." In my experience, it doesn't mean much, and the company will not stand behind their product when it matters. The flooring brand was NuCore. I will not be using them or this retailer again.

Floors for Living - Extremely Disappointed and Still No Resolution…read more I don't normally write reviews, but I feel I have no choice after everything we've been through with Floors for Living. When our floors were first installed, I noticed they were already bowing up. I raised my concerns with the manager, explaining that the subfloor wasn't properly leveled. He reluctantly came out to inspect and assured me the floors were fine and covered under warranty if issues ever arose. At about a year and a half, the floors started to separate badly. The edges cracked and broke off, exposing sharp plastic that cut the feet of my 3- and 7-year-old children. The seams are now so raised that they pinch the bottom of your feet when stepped on. Despite the obvious safety hazard, no one from Floors for Living would respond until I physically went into the store. They eventually sent someone out--but it was just a subcontractor. He cut out a few planks from the middle of the floor, snapped some photos, and left. I never heard anything back. Later, a third-party inspector--sent by the flooring manufacturer, not Floors for Living (and without my knowledge)--came to inspect. He was professional and knowledgeable and ultimately confirmed exactly what I had said from the beginning: the subfloor wasn't properly leveled before installation. Since then, I've tried repeatedly to get answers. I've called and texted Adrian, who has done his best to help, but he's clearly not getting any support from management. I've been told for weeks that the District Manager, Sterling, would call me "tomorrow." That call has yet to come. The store manager, Adam, hasn't even reached out once. This entire experience has been frustrating and deeply disappointing. More importantly, it's unsafe. I would expect the safety of customers--especially children--would be a top priority. Sadly, based on my experience, that doesn't seem to be the case. Floors for Living, I'm still hoping for a resolution.

We were able to discuss our budget and find something we loved that included install. We set a date. Excellent Value Patient…read moreImpeccable Service Lofty Homes was a goldmine for me. Timely, considerate and efficient. It doesn't get any better than that. They came as a referral right in the nick of time and helped me out of a time crunch. Their "secret weapon" is Vi Mai. Vi was my HERO. He never lost his cool. He attended to my every concern. He tolerated my quirky-ness. Vi was here from START to FINISH. His joy is making each and every client feel like they are the ONLY client Lofty Homes is working with and he jumps in and gets his hands dirty and actually does a lot of the back end work, like plumbing, putting on knobs or small repairs. He is certainly a KEEPER! Lofty Homes is an honest company with very good products and gracious employees. From floors to cabinets, they aim to please. You cannot go wrong using them. Although their products met my needs, they are not a custom cabinet building company. If you want all real wood built from scratch cabinets or bookshelves - this is not what they do. What they will do is listen to your desires and create a visual rendition layout. Your results will look exactly like their rendition. Thank you Lofty Homes for making my Day and for making my home feel like a NEW Lofty Home.

Hey neighbors! Sharing a great business located in Pasadena! https://www.loftyusatx.com…read more 1 (888) 802-8155 1. Great customer service! I am all about customer service and not having my time wasted. I had this idea of what I wanted in our playroom that's becoming more of a "Pre-teen" room. Ms. Kim put my idea into motion and sent me visually what I pictured. They came out within 24hrs to measure, and BOOM! It was done in less than two weeks, as I have a newborn at home and needed it done immediately. 2. Their employees have great attitudes I'm all about what and who represents their company. They have amiable workers. They came in and asked if they were required to wear masks! (I appreciated the consideration!) and I asked them to wear shoe covers, as we don't allow shoes in our home. They happily obliged. 3. Super satisfied with their job! I am waiting on handles, which I took forever because they have such a great variety.
