Labyrinth and view of the Panoche Hills

Wonderful, therapeutic and relaxing place. The mineral baths and pools were very relaxing. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, that fully explained how to make the most out of the Facilities. Great public shared spaces including an updated bathhouse. It is a truly peaceful and serene place, with a lot of open space to stroll and hike. Wide range of wildlife and plants. So close to the Bay Area but a world away!

MOST MAGICAL AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE EVER!!! My BF booked us a little weekend trip over 4th of July weekend, I had the most incredible time, I feel like I had a mini nervous system reset, minimal phone time, mostly just being present with Nature and my partner. I would love to come here at least once a month! I stargazed for hours at night in the heavenly healing mineral tubs

Our annual trip to Mercey Hot Springs was so good! We just love it! We like to visit MHS during the wintertime because of the weather and availability of the cabins. This time around, we reserved Cabin 5 which has a small kitchenette. This worked so well. In the past couple of years, we cooked at the outdoor cooking station (upgraded grill last year) and portable grill the year before. We always play a few rounds of disc golf before get to visiting the hot tubs. This disc golf course is truly one of the top reasons we come out here. The rolling hills are not a joke and we are still young enough to go up and down them. The grass may be higher than we like and I might have said that the last review I gave. We will still continue to play here. As I've mentioned to my partner, we are doing our annual trail maintenance for MHS. And maybe we can find some DG baskets to donate in the future as the baskets current are pretty worn down. Registration was super simple for us. As she got us registered, she said you've been here before and know your way. Have a great time! And checking out was simple as well. The tubs are just wonderful. Both near the cabins and next to the swimming pool. We cannot wait for our next visit and we just thought out loud ...that maybe we should bring the kids next time because there is no cell phone reception Thank you always for a wonderful stay!

They seemed to have a change in ownership as the service is no longer warm and friendly. After 3 visits with my new husband, he asked that we not return as he's really put off paying so much to the lady at the office who's not friendly in anyway. I made excuses for her the first couple of times. She seems so annoyed to have us there.

Love it! So relaxing, clean. Perfect getaway. Great place to unplug and enjoy nature. Reset and return to life ready to go!

Soaking in a tub while soaking in the Stars! Bring your cooler of food. Leave your worries behind. Limited WiFi. Time to unplug and chill! Clean cabins , clean facilities, calm and respectful, relaxing environment! Well run, affordable and lots of hot water to soak in! The beds are comfortable and cozy in February. The Valley has an assortment of entertaining day trips. Almond tree Blossoms, small Wineries, lots of small towns just off a freeway. But a weekend of sitting in a bathtub reading a book or listening to my downloads is heaven.

I just got home from my 3rd visit to Mercey Hot Springs, and it was better than ever! The charming historic resort is just as peaceful and relaxing as could be, and being there feels like stepping back in time. Since people are encouraged to not make lots of rowdy noise, all you hear are the lovely sounds of nature. There is wildlife everywhere, pristine rolling hills to roam, bright stars at night, and the most beautiful labyrinth that you can walk while watching the sun rise. Mercey has everything you could want including great soaking tubs, a warm swimming pool, complimentary yoga, easily-accessible hiking, bird watching, a cozy library, friendly staff and comfortable, affordable accommodations. The only thing missing is a restaurant, but it looks like that might be getting built! :)

The Harris resort, restaurant and cute local American style store are such a gem in the local. Highly recommend visiting this Restaurant in the holiday season, you may enjoy the high quality meal and jollable holiday vibe. My friend order the 14 oz ribeye and I ordered 8oz filet mignon. It is a three course set. Soup(or Salad), bread and main course with two sides. The serve of the food matches the volume as it describe on the meau. It is quite a lot for girl. The chef or the culinary staff is expert on steak grilling. The crust of Filet mignon tastes caramel crunch. The inner of Filet mignon is perfectly soft tender. When you bite it, you still can feel the texture but not raw. It is warm and flavored tender. We enjoyed our dinner at regular restaurant. They also have the high end restaurant in the same building which combine with a classic drink bar.(adult only) if you would like to have a full experience of the premium steak paired with wine. You may have it in the same place. And of course, if you would like to bring the high quality raw beef back home and cook for your family they have another butcher in the gift shop.

Judging by the menu it was obvious that the menu has been revised to highlight their more expensive selections. For that matter, ALL of their selections, I believe, can be called expensive. Our meals were delicious. My wife selected the filet mignon with soup (clam chowder). I selected the rib eye steak with garden salad. All delicious. Steaks were tender, and although I could not identify mine as a rib eye, it was delicious nonetheless the less. The portions were generous- about half of each of our meals went home with us. The only negative on the meal was my coffee. I like strong black coffee. This coffee was so strong, and quite bitter also, that I asked for,and graciously received, a cup of hot water to dilute it. Even so. It still was barely drinkable and I didn't finish one cup. Not wanting to hurt the moment, I said no more about it. The service was good and sufficient. The ambiance makes one feel that they are in somewhere special. The return soon feeling was not there, but I'm sure we'll be back.

The additional space would have been nice for two adults and their furry friend. It was still a great room with an awesome view of the dunes and water. Check in was terrific. The lobby is beautiful and stocked for a quick whatever you might want. There is a backyard behind the lobby that is sheltered from those pesky ocean breezes with firepit, tables, chairs and other stuff. Nice touch. Our room was spotless. The bathroom was very nice. Clean and let me say that the shower was fantastic. There is a heater/fan in the bathroom that made getting out of the shower, pleasantly warm. Toiletries are of nice quality. Our dog, Sian found the stick library very useful and she had a blast going after it on the beach and in the ocean. She even brought it back to the library the morning we left, for others to use during their stay. The pet welcome is a nice touch. This site is very pet friendly. Not so much for the timeshares that are on the same property. And that's fine. Parking is not allowed at the units. You are driven to your unit by one of the great golf cart drivers. Zach was our driver. Loaded all our luggage on to the the cart. As we journeyed to our cottage, Zach pointed out sites as well as amenities. Unloaded our luggage as wll as went and got us ice as we settled in. If you need help getting to your car, onsite restaurant or the lobby, just call the lobby about 10 minutes before you want to go and someone will be there. The restaurant is great. We ate there twice and had breakfast delivered to our unit twice. The bread platter... OMG... the bread platter. We loved it so much that we went to Otto's bakery in Salinas on our way out of town to bring it home with us. The restaurant is not open for breakfast but, at check in, you will get a room service menu that that's how you can have breakfast onsite. More on the restaurant in that review... Can't wait to go back. Have to say that overall, this is probably in our top 3 of vacation spots. Including Hawaii. It's just great.

We paid around $1,000 for one night, so I arrived excited and expecting something special. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. Many of the pet-friendly touches that influenced me to book were missing at check-in. There was no personalized dog welcome setup, no dog package, and my dog's name was not on the welcome sign until I called later. I had also requested a simple welcome card for my mother-in-law's first trip to California, and although staff said they would gladly do it, it was never done. We also had multiple room issues throughout the stay. The TV was not working, the phone buttons to reach the front desk did not work, there was no extra pillow for the fold-out bed, and there was even a leftover dog chew from a previous guest found in the bed. To be fair, the maintenance employee was kind and helpful, and the complimentary bottle of wine was appreciated. However, for this price point, the lack of attention to detail and overall service was really disappointing. What upset me most was checkout. I politely explained that I was disappointed and thought at minimum the pet fee might be removed, but there was no effort to make things right beyond emailing the receipt. Beautiful location, but the experience did not match the cost or reputation. I truly wanted to love this stay and left sad and let down instead.

I explained my frustration and asked whether she could assist me or connect me with the restaurant manager. I also explained that one of the reasons we chose this lodge was because it could accommodate our group and had an on-site restaurant, which is especially convenient when traveling with multiple families and children. Sarah's response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She laughed aloud and said, "You booked here for this restaurant, not to see Yosemite?"
