I found my new salon! I had been going to the salon that used to be at this location but it closed without warning. Once I find a salon and stylist I'm pretty loyal so I had been letting my hair go since it closed. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is! First, Christopher is awesome!! Like I mentioned I had been letting my hair go and needed a quick fix at a moments notice for a job interview. I cannot believe how Christopher went out of his way to accommodate me!! I have been looking for a place like this for awhile, without having to go into the city. From when you first walk in, the decorations are tasteful, personal and comfortable. I'm greeted with a welcome and an offer for a drink. The staff and owners work well together and are kind to their guests. Stephanie is my stylist and she really talked through what my expectations were and what I wanted, we looked at pictures together and decided what was right for my hair. I have coarse, wavy, Filipina hair. I knew I wanted to go short, but wanted to do it in stages. I got so many compliments. They also didn't try to sell their products too much--which I appreciated. I have been to salons all over the Richmond area and this salon by far made me feel the MOST comfortable and relaxed. I felt like I could tell my lash artist Gisele anything. She and the other staff members made me feel so welcomed. During my visit I told her about some of my concerns with my thin hair and on the way out she grabbed a hair stylist named Chris I believe ,and had them provide me tips on how to help my hair grow back thicker. When I came back for my lash fill the salon had the same welcoming and fun environment. I love this salon so much that I am considering switching my facials and hair appointments to Meraki as well. Amazing salon, the vibe when you walk in is amazingly friendly and welcoming. As I sat in the most comfortable couch waiting for my appointment, I got to talking with some of the other clients. They told me they use to be clients of the former LaBella Salon and were so happy that it has reopened its doors, due to it's convenient location. I had a cut and style service with Christopher for a wedding, let me tell you, I felt like a new woman stepping out of Meraki.
