You have tables to the left and right and large long table in the middle that divide the room. Interesting concept indeed... I guess it allows the customer to have some fun and enjoy throwing different topping items into the hot broth. You can decide which items to add/omit based upon your preferences. Note, you don't have to add all the items. Our favorite broth was the Hot & Sour. The pepper salt fish fillet was good and we also enjoyed the cucumber in sauce (cucumber salad). Worth trying at least once. Next time I'm back, I'll try more items on their snack menu side and rice.

The birria ramen was interesting, the meat was chunked, not shredded and the broth had flavors of clove or cinnamon- was not expecting that and I did not care for it. As for the Cheeseburger buns with the mayo type sauce we all thought they were horrible. The katsu was good still - yay. I used to crave this place and tell everyone about it when it was New Age Noodles and now I have zero desire to go back since the menu change/ rebranding. Sad. RIP.

New Age Noodles is an Asian restaurant that is mostly known for its ramen dishes. It has a smaller…read moremenu, but typically offers specials, a monthly brunch, and even occasional "menu takeovers" that get announced on its Facebook page. On our most recent visit, my wife and I started the meal with grandmas eggrolls and steam buns. The buns have a "rotating flavor," which was pork this time around. Both apps were enjoyable, but the steam buns could've used more pork. For our entrees, we ordered the almond boneless dunkers and the pork katsu. Both entrees came with rice, which had above average flavor and texture. The katsu was delicious, and is hands down the best dish I've had here. The dunkers were pretty sizable compared to other restaurants' ABC, but the gravy it came with had an unpleasant, metallic taste. Overall, New Age Noodles is a good restaurant. I will say, I would like to see some of the specials become permanent menu items.

I also LOVED the noodles; they had the best texture and length in the Metro-Detroit area. When it comes to service, there's definitely a "hands-off" approach, as you order via a QR code and a machine brings your dishes to you. However, I was personally a fan of that, and we were still checked on by workers from time to time. Food came fast and I absolutely loved the vibes and interior of the restaurant. Great place and experience overall!

Szechuan noodle soup has great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. It seems very oily but I assume that's how it's supposed to be. The addition of the chives and cilantro helps make this soup delicious and flavorful! But it's definitely all about the handmade noodles! Phenomenal! The general Tsos chicken was very spicy but it was good. The fried rice reminds me of a Chinese place you get food from in a mall cafeteria. Definitely not what noodle topia is known for so I won't let it effect my review! This meal was still enjoyable as well for your friend who doesn't want soup.

Kung Fu Noodle House did not disappoint. everything was rich in flavor, nice and hot and COVERED the table. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and nothing was spicy. The tea was also really good. When the cart came around, though... I had no idea what to do or what half the dishes were! Service: The staff was nice and. That said, since we were clearly first timers, I would've loved a little guidance. Even just a quick "these are popular" or "this one's pork, this one's shrimp" would have gone a long way. Ambiance: It's a corner plaza spot and nothing about the space really stood out. It was a Saturday night and there were only two other families dining in, so it felt very quiet. Not a bad thing if you want low-key, just don't go in expecting a buzzy or lively atmosphere. I'd come back for the food, but mostly knowing what to expect next time helps.
