And let me tell you, their product hasn't changed as it was still quite enjoyable. Finally it's a small location, but kept clean and the staff were sweet. Next time I'll try a smoothie. Before we could even order, an employee stopped us and said, "No outside food allowed." I explained that they were just drinks we were holding and that we weren't consuming them. His response? "It's a kosher rule." I asked, "So how are we supposed to buy cookies then?" He simply shrugged. That was it. No attempt to explain, no alternative, no customer service whatsoever. I've never experienced being turned away from a grab-and-go cookie shop simply because I was holding a drink purchased next door. If this is truly store policy, it's incredibly unfriendly and makes no sense from a customer's perspective. If it was a kosher policy, a respectful explanation would have gone a long way instead of a dismissive shrug. Needless to say, we left without buying anything.
