Visited the place on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Seattle . Lot of options of Yougurt to choose from . The fresh fruit flavor were really fresh . They have small cups for testing and it's very clean . The condiments were also lots and very clean maintained . You need to choose your own flavor and put toppings what you like and bill it. They bill based on weigh and not on number of boxes you take . Reducing one star as person at billing was rude and expression less . Never was really a fan of froyo until more recent. However, unfortunately had two negative experiences at this location as of recent which is leading me back out the door - both involving the same young man with curly hair. Each time, he's been rude and accusatory towards us. His eyes do not come off of us during our visits and we are being closely watched as if we committed theft. Terrible experience! Long time customer that was belittled for giving feedback. The 2 people working behind the counter on 11/4/24 on the Bothell-Everett Hwy were completely rude and need a lesson in customer service. Please make sure you tell folks or better yet put a sign up if all of your machines aren't working. Especially when you acknowledged it hadn't been working all night. Sometimes can be quite crowded, but the staff are great. The yogurt selection is wonderful and their seems to feel like an endless amount of toppings. Helpful tip: Mondays from 6-9pm you can fill your cup for $7. This is a great deal. Just note it can be busier during that time. read more

I was really surprised when I showed up because the place had already closed down, even though it was supposed to stay open much later. According to the posted schedule, they were supposed to remain open for at least another hour, but instead they shut their doors early. My teenage daughter went in for $5 Menchie Monday and was supposed to buy 2 - $5 frozen yogurt and was charged for $34.20. Her receipt says 2 - 39oz yogurt $31.20. When I called to talk to a manager I was told there wasn't a manager that I could speak to. The girl was very rude and did acknowledge she overcharged my teenager but was unwilling to correct it. After speaking with the owner they told me I should not have sent my daughter with special needs in the the store to get the yogurts. I have never been more offended in my life. read more

YUM! Who doesn't want a bowl full of frozen deliciousness with all the dreamy toppings! The flavors ranged from vegan fruit punch, vegan pineapple, original tart, coconut, mudslide, strawberry, cookies and cream (nom nom nom!!), cake batter, Blackberry twist, peanut butter cracker, grape hi-chew, chocolate, and vanilla snow! The machines were clean and well-working....which is so important to me considering how many people touch them (little kiddos, too!) The toppings were well stocked and not mixed together...also important considering how many hands use them! Well done, Menchie's! We came in for my moms birthday and she was trying to find her birthday email showing her discount. She couldn't find it but the gentleman gave her the discount anyway, which was so nice! I went two weeks ago with a good friend of mine to catch up after not seeing her for months from being away at school. We walked into the store hours before it closed there were 5 available flavors and some of the machines were just in pieces and were not even put together in a way to be in use at all. The ONLY reason they get two stars and not one was because the people that worked there were nice and friendly and seemed to be understanding about my frustration. The topping was like a 6/10. There could have been and should've been way more options. What's that smell? As soon as I entered the premises I was greeted by an unpleasant smell that I can only describe as someone who hasn't taken a shower for several days. There was what I think is the owner or manager sitting at a table with his laptop who did my transaction. The location is pretty sad but the store appears to be clean and all the yogurt bins are filled. I like this location over the one in Bothell on Beardslee, not too many yelling kids and cleaner. Honestly some of the worst customer service I have witnessed. Second time here and the lady at the register barks orders. Not a "have a good day" or one nice thing to say. Got to Menchies at 7:50 today. Google says they close at 9 and yelp says they close at 10. At 7:50, you can tell the machines were shutting down.. the froyo was melted and even the "very vanilla" was straight liquid that came out. The employee was putting away chairs as if he's about to close up shop as more people are coming into the store. I'm really disappointed that this place tries to hurry up and get out instead of wanting to serve customers. read more

They used to have really good Fro-Yo but the recent month, their Fro-Yo has been a bit bland and not the same density and thickness it once had before. We spoke to one of their staff members and they told us they've been having issues with some of their machines. The worse tasting tart flavor of any menchies I have ever been to. Have given them 4 chances and each one the same. Never anyone up front to greet 2 out of 4 times. Never ask for smileage rewards number like each other location does consistently, and they don't know how to look up or redeem the money I do have in them. They lack any of the toppings I choose that other locations offer: strawberries, mango, kiwi, mini chocolate chips etc. Go to any other location. This is the better of the 2 Menchie's in Bothell but I don't l know what it is about these places. I think it's the lack managerial experience showing through. I notice mostly very young faces behind the counters and a lack of maturity in the way day to day operations are ran. I could list some examples but I'm tired of typing on my phone already... I will add that tonight we arrived at 9:30pm. The open sign still on, no posted hours on the window or door but everyone that walked in after us was told the store closed at 9:30pm but that they would still be served because they don't really shutdown until 9:45pm.... I googled the store and the posted closing time is 10pm... They are mopping around our feet as I type... it's currently 9:50pm. First world problems right... oh well. Don't bother coming here on a Friday night with kids unless you all share the same cup. "$6 fill your cup night" is a total rip off when your toddlers only get about 2oz in their cups. Love this place! Super friendly early 20 something guy working there the night I came in, he was super friendly. They have lots of different self serve flavors, and lots of sample cups. They have diary free sorbets, as well as low-carb yogurts. So many different toppings. I love the fresh fruit and the mochi options. Their low-carb strawberry-bananna is 45 calories for 4 ounces, and soooo good. I added bananna, mochi, strawberry and fruity pebbles. They have adorable spoons, and a really nice chearful vibe. Every machine had its light on, which I think meant it wasn't cold enough because there was plenty in each machine. We got the froyo, paid and walked to the car- about 5mins from the time we dispensed the froyo, it was almost all melted by the time we got to the car. Although when I asked they said they had certain flavors in the back, just no lids for the containers. Didn't think I'd like any of their non-fruit flavors but sampled their cheesecake and mud pie anyway. I'd expected some really sweet stuff but I was pleasantly surprised. Cheesecake had a lovely cheesecake flavor, not overly sweet and the flavor was very natural. YUM! Mud pie: really good too. So made this my combo for the night! Service was good. Noisy. But to be expected given there'll be families everywhere you get yoghurt/ice cream. Tip: tap-out Thursdays: $5 fill-up 6 pm - 9 pm. One 16 oz. cup @ 32 oz. limit per person! I am a big yogurt fan, but not all yogurt places are created equal. I was maybe a tad bit skeptical about Menchies, maybe just because it seems they are popping up everywhere nowadays. I decided to give them a go on my lunch break this week, yogurt for lunch! Yum! First, I like that they have a website you can go to and figure out nutritional value, I appreciate that. Second they had a lot lf flavors and they all tasted great, I had a hard time deciding what to get. The toppings bar was plentiful and I was happy to see mochi, cookie dough, and caramel filled tiny chocolate turtles. I found it reasonably priced. I don't fill up my container, I get about a cup or so. It's cost me like $3. The place was clean and I liked they had some cute merchandise for sale. The guy there gave me a free sprinkles button, it's super cute. I'll be back, probably at lunch time, eating delicious yogurt :-) read more
