Me & my best friend wanted to plan something fun for our other best friends 30th birthday so we decided to go to Memos Canvas & we had the greatest time! Loved that we had our own appointment for just us that day. We were allowed to bring in our own food and drinks but Memo does serve beer there as well (I saw he has micheladas my favorite!). The Birthday Girl got to choose the painting and damn paining is a lot harder then it looks. We laughed and drank the whole time, it was so much fun. I think the best part of the experience was Memo himself, the dude was awesome, super friendly and talkative. He was cracking jokes on us the whole time and it just made for a great time. Also the guy is prepared for everything lol we forgot a few items like forks & birthday candles, little stuff like that but Memo had everything we needed. If I could give 6 stars I would. We are definitely coming back! read more

The wood cutouts made my party look awesome. All our guests were amazed by Memo's awesome work. Even stating he seemed to be a very talented artist. He was very friendly, and even willing to design and paint cutouts that he didn't currently have, he designed exactly what I wanted. There was an awesome and open line of communication. And was also very reliable, and gave plenty of time for drop off, and set up. Even with the rain this weekend we were still able to set up all the cutouts we got inside of the house. read more

He had his artwork displayed beautifully on all over. Memo was a great instructor, very hospitable. He was patient and fun. Let us bring our own drinks and food. Although he had a small bar there as well, you could purchase michelada's and some snacks. He played our favorite music. Let us hang out there for a while after we were done painting too. The price was reasonable, included the painting supplies. He let us choose what we wanted to paint. Before and during, he answered all our questions. As well as accomadated our requests. From the inquires in the beginning to booking him last minute to him helping me pick out the painting I wanted to do for my special day to making a link where I can send out as an invitation to my guest to setting up when I got there LATE lol to serving and pouring drinks and just interacting with me as well as my guest!! I even had a special birthday girl decorated apron I got to wear!! Service by MR LUNA was over the top and he was really accommodating and helpful!! No matter where you live I recommend going to him!! He's fun and teaches you the techniques easy!!!! He was there to serve us and make sure we had a good time and that we did indeed!! We had the absolute BEST experience here tonight! I wanted to do something different and fun for my mother's bday so I did a google search for a sip and paint nearby. I am so glad that this one popped up! I hate doing things over the phone so I popped in to speak with Guillermo. He was kind and so helpful and answered all of my questions. We put down a deposit and locked in the date. I showed up unannounced 4 hours before my event today to decide on the painting (I'm super indecisive). I really wanted a more ethnic photo than what I had seen as options on his site. When I brought it up he told me whatever I found he could do he was right! In fact, he found a great picture that all of us loved! He let me set up early and even had some additional goods that I had forgotten about. He created a great atmosphere. We laughed, we joked, we snacked, we painted and he played a great selection of music. This experience couldn't have been any better. We cannot wait to come back again!! read more

Memo came to our school for a Paint with your Parent fundraiser and I couldn't be more pleased. He was so professional, and had such great interaction with our kids and parents. Several of the parents asked us to please have another painting event. I HIGHLY recommend this artist as a leader for your own painting party or group event. My only suggestion would be to have more communication with him before the event, and that was our fault. We bought the wrong kind of paint, and way too many brushes of various kinds, when we could have purchased fewer materials and a more simple selection of brushes. Overall, our parents were very pleased, and we were too. read more

Greeted by Memo , the artist and owner of this amazing business . His venue is huge , art displayed throughout , works of his own . He host weekly painting parties , in the style of sip and paint , and instruction , he is an amazing artist . This is fun way to get a group of people together , you don't have to be a artist to attend the fun , Memo makes it fun , with his light instruction and follow along style . Over the last year , getting to know him , he also is a supporter of the arts . I am associated with the Pomona Valley Art Association , we are located in Montclair Place , right down the street from Memo . We celebrated my Birthday here and had an absolute blast. The place is amazing, clean and just so awesome. We had other places to chose from but wanted this place because it feels more like a paint studio than an industrial building plus I read all the reviews and we wanted an instructor with a personality who would keep us laughing and also not be offended by our humor. This place was nothing short of amazing and was better than I expected. The owner goes above and beyond to make your party great. He's over the top with customer service and we had such a great time with him, it's like he was one of our guest. We will definitely be back and if you are looking for a place to do a private party or even just to paint with your kids this is the place to go. Really enjoyed our visit to memos canvas. The art gallery was really nice, some really cool pieces to look at. From start to finish this was a top notch experience. Easy to book, the owner of the place was really good in explaining the process since we have never had a paint party before. This was a party to celebrate my nieces bdays who are all October babies. This venue is fun for all ages. The experience was great all my nieces and all the guests loved it. The step by step instructions were great and Memo was there to give a little extra help to the ones a little less artistically inclined. We were able to bring our own food, treats and drinks to the party. There is a nice little staging area to set up your drinks and party favors that you have. On top of that there are refreshments available on site to purchase. There is a decent selection of drinks you can purchase. After the party there was a little time to hang out and chat at the bar with the music playing. You get to pick what ever music you want while your there. It was a really fun laid back experience, I would highly recommend a paint party. Will definitely be back again read more

The gentleman/owner provided an environment where a terrible painter can express their style freely. A few weeks ago, I rented the studio for a family wine and paint. This place is so fun! Memos canvas was my first experience at a paint party and I had such a blast! Memo is patient, making sure everyone is on the same step and not feeling left behind. He's hilarious! It's almost like going to a comedy show and painting. He had our group laughing the whole time. All of his artwork in the gallery is amazing, very unique and interesting. This place is perfect for any work/family events and has plenty of room so you don't feel cramped in a tight space. So glad we got the memo! He came to our place for a painting party and everyone loved him. We had a group of 15 women with different levels of rambunctiousness and English hearing ability. He was able to communicate with my 72 year old Asian mom and 70 year old Asian mother in law and teach them how to paint! And still amused all my friends, especially the rowdy ones in the corner. :) Of all the 15 women, only 3 of us had experience with paint night before so when he showed us the image of what we were going to paint, no one believed that it was possible. We had so much fun. Memo is a great teacher and had a lot of patience. He definitely made sure we all had a great time and came out with a beautiful product. I highly recommend him for private painting parties. Extremely reasonable and definitely more affordable and fun than going to a paint nite event.
