We made an appointment last night, Wendy Arujo did not care about that and made us watch three random walk ins go in after us. When we walked in, no one was there, even after walking in after us other patients went in. Wendy did however, make sure to clarify that we had made a reservation and not an appointment. Thankfully the quality of care here makes up for the lack in customer service we received today 11/22/23. Would not recommend speaking to Wendy, I'm just going to drive to another location if I ever see her again. Dr. Patel was very careful with his diagnosis and was an exceptional caregiver. The medication was waiting for us at the pharmacy by the time we walked out. Great service! Unfortunately we had to deal with La Senora Arujo. Side note. A person was sent here for help and the front desk was very rude to them and claimed that they couldn't help them because they didn't have a physical identification. She said she had it on her phone and they said they couldn't take personal items. They just don't want to help. read more

Do not use this facility under any circumstances. If your physician tries to send you here ask them for an alternative (as there are several in the area). Five months after getting a scan here I received a letter from a collection agency saying I owe this place money. The imaging center was given my insurance information at the time of my scan as well as my address and phone number. After that day I never received a bill nor a phone call nor any sort of communication until I got this demand from the collection agency. No matter how this is resolved I find this insulting and demeaning and of the poorest customer service imaginable. Note: After several phone calls and letters they finally admitted this was all an error by their front desk staff. No apology was ever given and it took me months to get the collection agency off my back and my credit cleared up. read more

8/26/2013: I definitely am not the norm, when I say I have been here three times in 9 months. I was in a car accident in November of last year which landed me here for 2 MRIs in December. I was in another car accident in July of 2013 that landed me here for an MRI of my lower back. I was still having problems with my mid back, so I went back to my doctor for more XRays, and you guessed it, needed another MRI - for a possible fracture on my thoracic spine. Sadly, I was so uncomfortable during the MRIs but the only reason was because, again, of my injuries. Laying flat on a hard table when your back is injured is really hard. The techinician, I had the same woman all three visits was VERY nice and accommodating and did everything she could to make it as comfortable as possible. This time the front desk staff was much friendlier than my visit last year. Hopefully I wont be back any time soon, but I do like this facility and the employees. 12/11/2012: I went here last week for two MRIs. Everyone was pretty friendly, and they procedure was pretty standard... not really a fun time :) They give you headphones and ask you what kind of music you like and cover you with a blanket. On my second MRI the blanket got stuck in the side of the machine, and as I went further in it got tighter around me, which caused me to panic... inside a tunnel, with a tightening blanket, no thank you! I was fine during the procedures but did cry due to the pain from the positioning in both of them, which was only due to my injury, nothing that was done here. The women doing my MRIs was very nice and kept me updated as to how much longer I had, when the machine was going to make noise, etc. I felt as comfortable as one could during an MRI The only complaint I have was the scrub pants were a bit too tight on me, but its hard for them to guess sizes Im sure. read more

Please find a more reputable imaging center to go to! I am dealing with the same issue as Timmy S. I just recently received a letter in the mail from a collections agency stating that after multiple attempts to bill me directly my case was sent to them. I never received a call, letter, or email from Simon imaging prior to receiving this notice from a collections agency. I provided them with all of my insurance information, my phone number and billing address I even saw the receptionist take a copy of my insurance card, but for whatever reason they felt it was a good idea just to hold onto my file and then send it to a collections agency months later. I visited Simon imaging nearly a year ago and they never even took the time to contact me. It looks as though they just wait and send your case to a collections agency without ever trying to contact you. I don't know if they are just too lazy or it's more convenient for them to do it this way but either way is a horrible way to run your business. If I could give them less than one star I would! read more

It deserves 0 stars. An absolute disaster, no clear process for patients either instructed to go for x rays or walking in. Absolutely cold and Uninviting staff (I know it's health care but it doesn't excuse people being rude no matter how hard the job is) -- and they have no sense of urgency to get people in and out. I guarantee if these types of places did not have a built in, guaranteed stream of income from patients simply NEEDING to go, or if they had more competition, they'd go under in a few months. I hope the other locations in whatever joke franchise this is are not as horrible as this location. Avoid at all costs but if you're like me, your "local provider" under work insurance sent you here for imaging and there's not like another option. I know this review is pointless because if you're sitting there now reading this, you weren't given an option. But do them a favor and ask that they hire a real manager to figure out actual processes and customer experience to make people WANT to go. read more

I'll give them a 3 star. The front receptionist made me wait a while as she finished a call from anther location. When I mean a while it was 3 to 5 mins. The CT tech was great! He was very nice and really cared about my comfort and even showed my scans. Really nice guy. If the staff up front only care more it would of made my experience much better. I've experienced much better service when it was under PCI, I have a lot of choices for ultrasounds.... When it was run by PCI, you really got the luxury service that goes with the elegant décor! Now it's worse then other local facilities... The tech had her personal stuff all over the desk, she doesnt try to get me comfortable in any way, there is a stain on the examination table... DO NOT USE. I went to the Huntington Beach location for imaging. The process was slow even though I had an appointment time. I paid my copay and used my blue shield insurance. almost 1 1/2 years later I received a letter from a collection agency for $8.11. When I called they explained that the insurance under paid them. When I contacted the insurance they said to much time had passed for rebilling. I called Simon imaging back and they could not explain the delay in Billing. They also could not explain why they had not contacted me first to pay this bill. I highly recommend you find a different company to work with. While this is a small bill things can get much worse and their complete lack of customer service means you will suffer in the end. I should also mention that this is a huge company with locations all across the USA. You will NOT get any personal service and customer service for your money. AVIOD at all costs read more

Just wanted to thank the staff, Sunny front office, Moises who was responsible for giving me and MRI and Andreas for giving me my xrays. What a great group of people. There was also no waiting time. I was treated with great respect and care. That is something older people don't find very often. I read these nasty reviews and wonder what these people expect. Woman at front desk was very unfriendly, condescending & rude!

Incompetent is the only word that comes to mind. I has used this facility while I was active duty and had to use them again after retirement. When I went in I explicitly told the front desk to update my insurance information and not to bill my social, but my spouse's social because I was under her insurance because she was still active duty. I had an approved referral under that insurance and they said ok ok and took the info. Well they billed the wrong social ofc and so my retired tricare only paid a partial and left a copay. I contacted them and tricare, and tricare sent the whole amount that was allowed. Tricare requested a refund for the original incorrect amount. 5 months and 15 phones calls with tricare on the line and 3 patient responsibility of zero letters later, this facility still doesn't know how to fix their mistake. If this facility doesn't fix the issue in the next week, I will seek legal action. read more
