Oh, one very important thing to note is that this place has legit licensed masseuses. All of their licenses are posted on the wall. It is a sanctuary amidst the hustle bustle of Los Angeles in Korea town and safely located across from the police station. A plus parking is free in the plaza downstairs. The moment you enter you are greeted by the friendly office manager and you meet store owner Eunice. The hospitality is felt immediately. You are issued a locker and towels with a cute pink robe. You cannot wear bathing suits or shoes, but the robe is what you wear and the spa is so clean and smells amazing inside. They have various rooms such as charcoal clay sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, Himalayan salt room, Himalayan salt bath, cold room, oxygen room, mugwort tea bath where you pour the basin of mugwort tea and drench it over your body in a seated shower section. Mugwort tes smells earthy and helps with skin issues. You can do a body scrub to exfoliate your dead skin and your skin will be amazingly soft and dewy. They use a scrubbing mitten and you can request gentler scrubbing versus a new mitt which will be more firm exfoliating scrub. The massage is 1 hour long and extremely relaxing. You can choose green tea or collagen milk for your massage. The collagen milk left my skin so dewy and soft. In the end they wrap your hair into a cute bun atop your head and wrapped in a cute pink towel. The V steam is something new I never heard of before and tried for first time. You are in a private room and sit on a cushion seat with an circular opening and beneath are herbs heated and you wear a cute cloth robe to absorb the steam over your privates hence V stream -- benefits with cramping, hormones, constipation, fertility, etc They offer a biscuit and tea while you stay in treatment x 30 minutes. If it gets too hot you lift the robe upward and it is cooler for your body. There is an area for food that opens at noon. The menu is a variety like Bimbibap or ginseng chicken soup and more. I will definitely come back to try this eating area. Every room is meticulously designed, clean and relaxing. I felt pampered here and can't wait to return. They do not allow photos otherwise you just have to visit here and experience it for yourself.

I was really looking forward to relaxing, but unfortunately this was one of the least enjoyable spa…read moreexperiences I've had. From the moment my treatment began, the body scrub attendant's demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. Her tone of voice came across as harsh, and when she spoke to me, it was loud enough that other guests looked over. Since everyone is undressed during these treatments, that made me feel especially uncomfortable and vulnerable. The body scrub itself was much rougher than I expected. I wasn't asked whether the water temperature was comfortable, and the pressure felt unnecessarily aggressive rather than relaxing. I left feeling more sore than refreshed, which isn't what I expect from a spa treatment. This was also the second month in a row that I was assigned to the same body scrub attendant, even though I've never had her before and had always been treated by someone else in the usual wet room. It struck me as unusual, especially since I had previously noticed her speaking very harshly to other staff members. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's taken constructively. I truly enjoy this spa overall, but I hope more attention is given to making every guest feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during their treatment.

I've been coming here for years and recently tried to redeem a Groupon. I booked my appointment over the phone with who I thought was an employee or owner of this location. He took down my Groupon redemption code and told me that my appointment was set. I was told that Groupon's weren't able to be redeemed on weekends, so we decided upon this Tuesday. I came in today and it was a pretty routine session and when I came out to leave a tip, I was told I would not be able to use my Groupon redemption code even though that's exactly what I used to even book the appointment over the phone. They told me that I was unable to redeem the code because I was not a first-time customer. They called an owner or manager from another location who after going back-and-forth with me, said that there was no point in us arguing because I was just going to go and write a negative review. The thought of leaving a review never crossed my mind. But after he said that, I thought it was a great idea. All I really wanted was for them to honor our prior conversation from a week ago. Since it was brought to my attention that this is something I could leave a review about I will do so. This will be my last time coming to this location. It's been a good couple years. This is not to discourage anyone from booking, but rather to encourage you all to read the fine print on the Groupon. Because even if you have a verbal conversation with someone on the phone and get confirmation that your appointment is booked, there are chances that they will not honor it. Especially if you are a loyal customer. Unfortunately, all of the relaxation I gained from the massage is now out of the window :)

I felt like this was totally worth the price + this covers the cost of admission as well so we enjoyed the spa for another 3 hrs after this. I DEFINITELY recommend making an appt in advance vs walk-in especially if you're doing a longer time based service, otherwise they may not be able to squeeze you in. I did see they offer some discounts to patrons who come M-Th in the mornings as well! The spa space itself has both co-ed and women's only sections, but we stayed in the women's section exclusively. They have signs up detailing the recommended order # of the treatments, but I think when we come back we would just save our Simply Classic / other similar treatment for last so we could head out and eat afterward. This treatment left me totally relaxed and while the spa itself wasn't gigantically massive, I liked how there weren't that many people since we came on a weekday morning and it felt nice to have the place to ourselves. There really aren't any spa amenities and the locker room is a bit grungy. Once you get to the co-ed communal area, it has some tea and water where you wait for your masseur or masseuse. It was a little too warm and unfortunately my masseuse was late (still setting up the room). Once in the room, the masseuse didn't communicate, not even asking if there was anywhere I wanted to focus on or if I was comfortable. This led to the massage being not great. I had to keep asking for more pressure and the most pressure provided was actually on my feet rather than anywhere else. I also hated that she went from my feet then straight to massaging my face and head! It was more of an uncomfortable experience rather than enjoyable. This was also a VERY expensive experience so it's quite unfortunate that this was what it amounted to. I won't be back.

He somehow knows the exact amount of pressure to make me feel completely relaxed while also making sure I (and my knots!) get some good use out of his magical hands. He's also incredibly thoughtful about checking in before every session to see what I'm in for that day, whether it's a full-body massage, certain areas that need extra attention, or anything I want him to avoid. And afterward, he always follows up with what he noticed during the massage and any recommendations for things I can do at home to help in between my monthly sessions. My 50 minutes with him absolutely FLY by, and if/when my schedule allows, I will definitely be splurging on an 80-minute session. Ralph is such a friendly, kind, genuinely caring person, and I truly can't recommend him enough. Nina was also coughing a bit throughout the appointment, which made me wonder if she might not have been feeling her best that day. The price was $70 for 60 minutes with cash, and they recommend at least a $15 tip. I left $20. Overall, I'd say it was a perfectly fine massage and I'd give it 4 stars. The space itself was cramped and no frills and some of the pressure is on fellow GUESTS to keep their voices down (please keep this in mind!) but it has everything. The space felt clean and cozy. I went for a 1.5 hour massage which felt like a splurge because it was longer than I normally do, but their prices were so reasonable and I had just come off a very long work week that it felt needed. The massage was so incredibly relaxing and left me in a little bit of pain in a good way. I knew Saline had found a lot of my deep knots, so there was no way for it to be without pain, but every fit of it was so worth it. It was so relaxing and I left feeling 100x better than when I came in. It was a little hard to find because it's on a small strip mall, but now that I know where it is I won't miss it.
