Opened in June 2024, Melt Brownie is a must stop for dessert lovers in Winter Springs. This adorable bakery sells imaginative and delicious brownies. Their motto is "Brownies make everything better." and they are not wrong. There are a few tables outside and a few more seats inside the cute purple interior but you will be immediately drawn to the brownie case. Brownies are $4 and they are quite large. I was only going to buy one but after checking out the weekly flavors the next thing I knew I was walking out with a box of four! I couldn't say no to Cookie Bliss, Candy Brookie, Mocha Brownie, and Pineapple Upside Down. Once you pick your flavors they add the finishing touches and box them up. I didn't catch the young man's me who helped me but he did end up in a picture. He was so friendly and welcoming, a true asset to Melt Brownie. I believe they drop new flavors every Friday. If you download the app you can earn a free brownie. The also sell mini brownies, brownie cakes, brownie cheesecakes, and coffee. I didn't try my brownies until I got back to South Florida but when did I was blown away by how good they are. They are super sweet and I could have probably skipped the extra icing on top. If you like your brownies decadently rich, then these are for you. One brownie lasted me a long time. I ended up cutting each one into bite sized pieces and sharing my bounty. The brownies were very moist and they stayed fresh in the fridge for the whole week. I liked them cold but you can also just let them sit out a bit until they reach room temperature. All of the flavors were phenomenal but I really love pineapple and coffee so the Pineapple Upside Down and Mocha were the two tops for my taste. My wife and I stopped into Melt Brownie for an event recently, and I have to say that that the brownies here are yummy! We had the pleasure of trying four of their 'weekly flavors,' which consisted of the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, Strawberry Crunch, Fluffer Nutter, and Chocolate chip Crumb Cake brownies. All of the brownies were delicious. I especially liked the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake because of its creamy consistency, my next two favorites were the Fluffer Nutter because of the peanut butter and cookie on top, and the Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake because of its crunchy top layer. While we were waiting for the finishing touches on our selection, another customer stopped in for her free birthday brownie. She informed us that if we signed up on the app, we could receive a free brownie on our birthday and also one for just signing up. My wife signed up then sent me her referral code earning her two free brownies on top of the ones we received for the event. I also signed up and received an additional brownie as well. Staff were super friendly, helpful, and upbeat. The young lady helping us informed us it was her first day on the job and she went above and beyond to assist us during our visit. Brownies cost $4 each, which isn't too bad for a freshly made dessert. The brownies are already made and decorated in front of you after you place the order. It's a great concept; however, know that the brownies are not warmed, they are more room temperature, probably to prevent the toppings from melting off. I like the fresh clean-cut look of the store; however, seating is limited and there is no customer restroom. I think they could draw in some more customers if it was a bit more welcoming and provided some more reasons to stick around for a few. Currently, it's more of a grab-n-go setup, which is great for UBER Eats and whatnot. Something else to note is this store does not accept cash. I am not a fan of this policy. Normally I do not support businesses that are cashless, but I have made exceptions in the past, like with Donuts to Go. They need to re-think this policy because if you look at the review's, I am not the only one complaining about this. I like the packaging and the take-out boxes are well-made and include their logo and QR code so you can connect with them online. We came here for a event. While we we here picking out our brownies a lady came in to get a her birthday brownie. She told us if we downloaded the app downloaded the app we would get a free brownie right away. And then if you refer someone you get another brownie! And then you also get one on your birthday. This cute brownie shop has TVs at the top with the menu and prices, as well as some samples behind the glass, so you can see the size and what the brownies actually look like. There are 2 or 3 tablets you can use to order, which are straightforward, and you can sign up to their rewards program. You can also order with the person working the front. Now for the brownies! They're really good! They're what you want a brownie to be: dense, rich, soft, with a homemade taste to them. They have their classic brownie, classic blondie, and the have other limited flavors that they change weekly. Some of those flavors, like the brookie should become main-stays. They also started selling a half pound box of brownie edges for $5, which are also good! I had to check out this spot after seeing so many advertisements. I visited around noon on Sunday, and no one else was there. There is lots of parking outfront. This location is very spacious. I like the balloon decoration and the digital signage to make it easy to see the flavors available. There are also actual brownies behind the glass to visually be able to see and help decide. I like that there are big and little bite options. You can order at the ipads located to the right or at the counter. I ordered the fluffer nutter brownie. I like that they freshly ice the brownie upon ordering. I thought the brownie was a decent size, and the brownie itself was really good. There was a good amount of icing on the brownie, but the icing was a bit of a miss for me. It has a very thin texture and maybe has too much shortening or something in the recipe. Stopped in here for Yelp Elite Week and it was the perfect reward at the end of a long day! The store was really clean, and the person who helped us greeted us with a smile and answered all our many questions. We got the peanut butter cup, cookies n cream milkshake (brownie), the brown butter apple, and a special strawberry shortcake brownie they had ready for Yelpers. My husband also grabbed a blondie. Everything was delicious!! Very moist (sorry), not too sweet, and the sizes are perfect for sharing. The brown butter apple was so toasty, perfect as we head into fall! It was probably my favorite. They rotate the menu weekly, which is such a great idea, though I hope that peanut butter chocolate brownie is a returning item. It was bomb. Full disclosure I received a free brownie after signing up on the app which is why I visited. I tried the Boston Cream which was basically a blondie sandwich with chocolate frosting on top. I love Boston Cream donuts and brownies/blondies but this wasn't hitting either really. It was served cold and had a very artificial sweetness to it - I honestly didn't finish it. Melt is the brownie version of Crumbl cookies. As I walked in I wasn't greeted and I wasn't explained how anything worked, the poor girl just stared at me. I ordered a 4 pack which included Strawberry Crunch, Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake, Classic Brownie and a Classic Blondie. All come with a frosting on top which is so good! It tastes like a mixture of Oreo filling and marshmallow fluff to me. My favorite is the Strawberry Crunch. Each Friday the menu changes so if you see a brownie you wanna try you better get it within that week! As I was looking at the menu I noticed that they have milkshakes and I'm kinda thrown off by that because what ice cream to make the milkshake? Do they have vanilla or chocolate or something else? Melt brownie is a local brownie shop in Central FL with locations in Winter Springs and now Maitland as well. They offer a rotating menu of different brownies weekly. First impressions upon walking in is this place resembles crumbl cookies, it's a small shop with screens to order and the additional TV screens that display their current menu of brownies. I got an assortment of brownies including a cookies and cream and peanut butter brownie. I was actually pretty disappointed in the overall brownies. They all have a similar taste, it appears the actual brownie base is either the standard regular brownie or a blondie version and those are the same bases just different frosting depending on which you get. All the frosting was way too sweet for me, while the presentation was great the actual brownie itself lacked anything much to it. The frosting tries to make up for the shortcomings on the brownie and in my opinion it doesn't quite do the trick. I did happen to go soon after their grand opening so it's possible things have changed a bit from that point but I'll admit I'm not exactly eager to give them another try The bottom line, these brownies simply weren't for me... the frosting was very sweet and the brownie lacked any real character to it, this is a pass for me. read more

This place is Crumbl bur brownies! Melt Brownie is a fairly new spot in Winter Springs that changes out their brownie flavors on a weekly basis. It was quiet when I went in the morning, so I was able to go right up to the counter and order with the staff. From what I saw it looks like the pull the brownie itself and add on the toppings as needed so it's nice and fresh! I do recommend eating them there, unless you have short drive home so none of the rookies melt in this hot Florida weather. For me l like to pop them in the fridge for a bit and eat a nice cold dessert! The blondie and blueberry cobbler were my favorites, and honestly I've thought about these brownies for days after. Stopped in on their opening weekend. This location is located on Red Bug Lake Road near Gators. The staff was great! Very friendly, super energetic and happy to help. Not only do they have brownies, they sell cakes and cake lollipops. Great place to stop in before or after school for a treat. I ordered this one night on uber eats because my family was having a craving for sweets. We got 4 brownies an Oreo flavored blondie, one that looked like a chocolate sundae, chocolate fudge , and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Me being the Oreo fan had that one. The brownie was kind of dry and didn't give me that overwhelming great Oreo taste. The next one I tried was the chocolate sundae, it had nuts, whip cream and a cherry on top. This one was actually really good. The nuts and cream added such a great flavor and it really tasted like an ice cream sundae. The only thing I will say about the chocolate flavored ones they are extremely rich and too sweet for my taste. I know everyone taste buds are different though so others may like that. I prefer a lighter brownie without a lot of frosting. Overall I wasn't impressed with the fudge or Oreo brownies but I did really enjoy the chocolate sundae one and it was hard for me to stop eating it. I have been seeing the Melt Brownie location for weeks now before it officially open, saying to myself that place sounds so good and I can't wait for it to open. So when it finally open my wife and I went there to try ourselves some delicious looking brownies. First thing I noticed when I walked up to the location was the bright purple color scheme that was adorned on their sign and all throughout the decor when you walk in the location. The bright purple color draws you in it was very welcoming. My wife and I were using our Melt Brownie App to get our free brownie that they were offering for signing up and checking them out for their grand opening. They had several choices of brownies that you could choose from, they were Cini Crunch Swirl which was a brownie with cinnamon crunch cereal on it, Sundae Brownie which is a classic Sundae just in a brownie, The Inside Out Cookies n Cream, Almond Chocolate Coco Brownie. I tried the Almond Chocolate Coco Brownie which tasted like a Almond Joy which is one of my favorite chocolate bars of all-time it was very tasty, my wife had a brownie that had fruity pebbles on it she to said her brownie tasted really delicious both were yummy in our tummies. The customer service was top notch, the cashier who was taking orders was very informative about all the brownie options he was able to describe every brownie you asked him about which was very helpful. They also offer milkshakes which my wife and I didn't try but I will try the next time we visit. The main complaint that I do have is that my wife and I wanted to get more brownies other than the free ones we got but we only had cash and the lady making the brownies told us that they were a cashless location which in fine but they should have indicated that somewhere either on the door or somewhere in-store so customers are aware, because we were not able to purchase more brownies because of not knowing they were cashless which was very frustrating. One last thing my wife and I thought that the brownies were going to be served hot or warm because the name Melt Brownie kinda suggests that they were going to be which my wife thought would have been even more delicious and awesome. So in closing I would definitely come back to Melt Brownie and I would recommend the dessert shop to anyone looking for a tasty selection of brownies, they also change their menu every Friday. Last night, we were excited to give Melt Brownie a try. We hadn't heard anything about them, but had seen the sign and were intrigued. We ordered two brownies--the sundae brownie and the cinnamon swirl--as well as a vanilla brownie milkshake with the classic chocolate brownie mixed in. The milkshake initially was too thick to sip through a straw, but quickly melted into a too thin, somehow bland, almost watery concoction. The two brownies were part of their weekly rotating menu, but they seemed to just be their standard brownie and standard blondie with different frosting and toppings. Nothing we tried tasted fresh or bakery-quality. Upon walking into the store, it was obvious that the owners' intent was to rival Crumbl Cookies. The employees behind the giant, empty, faux marble counter were friendly despite the cold, corporate ambiance. So many details scream Crumbl--the iPad ordering, the videos on the screens, the branding. Unfortunately, Melt pales in comparison in terms of flavor and quality and frankly just feels like a cash grab. More thought was put into branding than the product. read more

They just opened this location near my house and were excited to try the brownies. It looks similar to a Crumbl cookie but for brownies. I got the churro and my husband got the dirt cake brownie. The decor inside is cool but pretty sparse. There is a lot of open counter space with nothing on it. When we tried the brownies, we were pretty disappointed. Neither tasted very good. They weren't warm and didn't taste fresh. They tasted like packaged brownies with icing added on top. I even thoroughly enjoy packaged brownies but the flavor in these just weren't very good at all.
