Egg whites w/ home fries and toast.

Much better than it use to be, Mel's is a good breakfast spot that will be packed in the mornings if you don't get there early enough. Only downside is the service is a little slow, which is ok if you're just trying to enjoy your breakfast and aren't in a hurry.

Visiting friends in the area and they've been wanting to try here. Glad we did. I had banana chocolate chip pancakes with sausage links, they had nutella crepe and western omelette. All delicious and extremely reasonable prices. 3 entrees, 3 coffees and a large oj was only $42!!!! Will be back

This place was GREAT! Good food for a good price. Bf and I went on a Monday and there was no wait but I've seen them SUPER PACKED on the weekends. It is a fairly small place and you seat yourself which gave me anxiety as I was unsure at what tables were open but once we were sat we were met with a nice waitress and given coffee immediately. The food is a little bit basic but that's to be given at a small place like this. I ordered the quesadilla and asked to add black beans as I had seen it in a different meal but she said no unfortunately but when I got my meal they had added it to my surprise!!! I was so happy and it added another demotion to the already REALLY good meal! I loved it! I also loved the attention to detail. We will definitely be back. The staff is super friendly and fast!

Can't go wrong here!! Always great service.. fast and excellent food. Don't let the exterior fool you- it's super casual but great food.

Delicious chocolate and banana crepe

We had lunch there. Typical diner food. My chicken caesar wrap was very salty. Chowder was just OK. Service was good.

I try coleslaw all the time and this is just the right combo. Not swimming in dressing and not dry. I had a choice of a good variety of sides. Richard had the wimpy burger (huge!) w/crispy fries. Everything here appears to be homemade. A great variety of side dishes, too. Creative specials along w/their regular menu items. They have smaller plate meals, too. Prices reasonable as far as restaurants go these days Saw a lot of breakfast and lunch/dinner food go by and tons of take out orders being picked up. Good amount of parking spaces. Noticed a BBQ building next door, think it is for special parties. It gets crowded here but if you time it right, you will get in. We got here at 11:30. They serve all sorts of drinks, beer, wine along w/the usual diner style ice cream offerings. We will be back.

Someone must have passed a law mandating diners to have Elvis, Marilyn, and Betty Boop on the walls. Comfortable digs, outdoor dining to boot, and extremely welcoming and friendly staff. -- Blueberry Muffin: My wife and I shared a breakfast "appetizer," grilled with butter by default. Would've been nice to have been asked, but not a problem. Mid-range density, with equal amounts of sweetness and butter in the dough, discernible even under the butter from grilling. Not life changing, but solid and satisfying. -- Omelettes: We each got our own, with mine a western and my wife's a build-your-own with assorted vegetables. Both were huge, with the add-ons tucked neatly inside and the egg surfaces, smooth and heaping. Home fries matched this impressive portion and came in uncrisp outside, very soft and fluffy inside, and seasoned but not oniony. Toast was toast, but many varieties to choose from. Coffee refills came regularly, cheerfully, and without the need to ask. Food overall was good-- definitely better than adequate, though with no life changing surprises. Service was outstanding, nailing the 4 overall.

Eggs ok, one slice of toast was toasted slightly the other slice was not really toasted at all. Huge disappointment was the bacon. It was cold and needed either a sharper knife or I need to up my gym time to get through a slice. It was very tough. My mum had similar disappointment with her sausage. The sausage (more like a patty) was super greasy and she didn't like them at all. She also had the home fries and they were just ok. Windows were really dirty which I guess I can understand with wind of the small planes flying around. The staff was not great, it wasn't even good. $30 for 2 orders of eggs over easy, toast, 1 order of bacon (extra charge) and 1 order of sausage (extra charge) and one tea ($4.50 crazy). Totally not worth it. Gave it a second chance and there won't be a third. Great concept but poorly executed. The best thing they had was good 70s, 80s music. That was the highlight.

We always sit on the right side, which is where the TVs and the bar section is, but the hostess tonight was exceptionally uncomfortable, and didn't know how to deal with our request telling us there was too many people when we could clearly see tables were open. We sat on the left side, which was fine. There was a birthday party in the front room going on our waitress was super attentive and very friendly and got our entire order correct our food came out hot and fresh. The pizza is always a giant hit here as is the Caesar salad. I didn't have to ask for the drink menu which put our waitress back, but that was fine. The lemon drop was good. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot. I would recommend coming here for your average of the mill meal. There is plenty of seating the right side has pub seating and a pool table. There is a giant bar in the middle and the left is more family seating as well as a front function room.
