Got a great massage last night. I made an appointment so that I would be able to get a massage. Many places state they take walk ins but then you have to wait. I was greeted by the owner and the lady who would be giving me my massage. And I was asked what kind of massage I wanted, deep tissue, Swedish, and the level of pressure. Wow communication! We just left this place... it was girls night out... dinner then "foot" massages. This place was SO great. The ladies were very professional and sweet. And... for a foot massage it was top-notch! I just came back from a massage and I knew I needed to review this place. As a person who has had her fair share of massages, this place exceeded my expectations. Upon walking into the place, it is very clean and simple. My mother had the full body massage and I opted for the foot reflexology. I was a bit skeptical, especially since I did not have the best experience at another place a couple days ago. Amy was my masseuse and Sophia for my mom. They were both amazing, best foot reflexology I've had (and I am very particular with my foot massages)! It was the perfect amount of pressure, I never had to ask her to add more pressure or less. I even fell asleep for 10 minutes without realizing it. My mother also said she had a wonderful experience with Sophia. I will definitely be coming again soon to this place and highly recommend it. I wanted to love this place, but I was so disappointed. The foot massage was good, but it is in upright chairs and they dont do any back work. Therefore, I returned and got a body massage, but I did not enjoy it much. They did their best to compensate for my unhappiness, which I appreciate, but the massage therapist acted bored the entire time and I didnt feel better after. read more

I've had a couple bad experiences here. The first time my friends and I had appointments but when we got there we were told they were short staffed and couldn't see all 3 of us. I wanted to give them a second shot and made an appointment a couple months later but when I got there they told me that the foot reflexology room was full but they could give me a full body massage (which is $20 more). The masseuse was horrible - no technique, I don't think she had ever had proper training or knew the different muscle groups. It was painful and not relaxing in the slightest. read more

Horrible service! After the massage session, I didn't feel any difference and smells bad for myself from the body lotion!

They took us in immediately two of us. The rooms are near and clean and the masseuse were really sweet. They know what they are doing. We got a facial. During the facial u get a cranal massage, back massage and arms massage mixed in! Such an incredible deal! Also the facial left my skin glowing! I picked Melrose Spa after reading about it's grand opening in the Vista Magazine. I didn't want to pay a fortune for a massage but needed help loosening up my back and neck after a few challenging workouts. I was able to get an appointment almost immediately. Amy met me at the front and greeted me with a warm smile. She determined that a deep tissue would be best for me due to my very tight muscles. (Deep tissue, $45) My massage was provided by Angela. She did a wonderful job focusing on my back, neck and shoulders...but not forgetting my arms, hands, head, legs and feet. She is small in stature but so strong! (also very friendly; but didn't talk during massage) This massage was not focused on the small knots and areas of inflammation like a sports massage. Quite music, Himalayan salt lamps, and a peaceful environment made for a relaxing space. I could hear some people on the opposite side of the wall but it was very faint. I went there for a quick chair massage to help loosen up my shoulders. The experience was not good at all! First, They didn't know how to adjust the chair to fit me! The people were very nice but do not speak English so it was nearly impossible to communicate. And the lady doing the massage was horrible!! Then when I went to pay, they didn't understand the difference between $15 and $20!!! It was like pulling teeth to get my change! Very very dissatisfied! read more
