Let's just say my entire wedding party and guests know who Charley is because she went above and beyond!!!!! For the initial venue visit with ELE, Charley came and took notes for me. From the beginning, Charley was wonderful. She is very personable and so easy to get along with. She always arrived before the scheduled time (which eased my anxiety a lot) and started on time with everything. On wedding day, same thing. She addressed questions for guests/wedding party to not interfere with me getting ready. She was so prepared and on top of it. There is nothing Charley did not do! Cassandra was great to work with and I am so glad I hired her. We had regular meetings leading up to my wedding that were on my time, and at my office or somewhere close to my house. She is extremely detailed and goes over every minute of your special day. She recommended great vendors, responds to emails and texts almost immediately, and was just someone I could text any time of the day when I had an idea or concern about the wedding and I would get a response that reassured me. For the day of the wedding I cant even sing her praises enough. I didnt get a single panicked phone call from anyone because she was in touch with all the vendors all day. She arrived at the venue early, she was the first one there, and the last one to leave at at night. She made sure everything was set out perfectly, then at the end of the night, made sure everything was packaged up and ready to go and be picked up. During the wedding she kept us on our pre-planned schedule, which is so easy to divert from when you have 20 people pulling you each way. She made sure we ate, and had something to drink, and that all my guests knew where to sit. The two stars are for her actually showing up and setting the chair covers at my wedding reception…read more She runs the business out of her home which is fine, but does not constitute her unprofessionalism. 1) I wrote her a check for final payment and she took a month to cash it. 2) we had a meeting at my venue to do a mock table set up, she said she would be there at 4:00. Around 4:45 a woman I've never seen before shows up with chair covers and table cloths and says "she sent me instead, didn't she tell you?" "um no." come to find out later that she sent me an email around 3:45 saying "I'm not going to be able to make it, so I'm sending one of my employees." -she sent me an EMAIL 15 minutes before our appointment to tell me she wouldn't be there, I mean come on, I know we live in a technically run type of society, but you couldn't have called to let me know? Also, she said "my employee" um does your employee have a name? That made things uncomfortable and very unprofessional. Not to mention, the "employee's" response to every single one of my questions was "i don't know, but I'm sure The owner A**** could answer that for you" ok well if only she was here. 3) She is ridiculously hard to get ahold of, nor does she return any of your calls. If you don't communicate by email then you're screwed. 4) I chose to go with this company over any of the other companies in town due to her competitive prices, but it's true when they say "you get what you pay for". I got polyester chair covers with red satin sash. The bows she tied with the satin sash were hideous. They looked like numerous big obscene knots just sitting on the back of the chair. I thought to myself "maybe those are really just hard to make look elegant" so I tied one myself, it look fantastic. But by the time I noticed this, it was time for me to walk down the aisle, so all my pictures have these giant hideous knots. 5) The owner of Creative Chair Covers was supposed to get in contact with my wedding planner at my venue To set up a time where she can drop off the table linens to the venue and also to discuss what time she will be there to set up the chair covers on the day of. I would communicate with A**** (owner of CCC) and ask if she had spoken with my wedding planner and she continued to say "no not yet, but I will" Finally I just thought to myself "this isn't my job, I have to much to worry about, she will have to do it" on my last meeting with my coordinator (3 days prior to my big day) she asked "are you still having linens set up" my response "well of course" her "well she hasn't contacted me yet" I was so mad I told my coordinator all about A**** unprofessionalism and needless to say, they won't be recommending her to any of their future brides. Anyways my coordinator says "well I'll just give her a call, so you don't have to worry about it anymore" about an hour later CCC A**** calls me (wow huh!) and says "oh I just called and set up everything with your venue, so we will be there." HAHA YOU JUST LIED TO ME. I LOATHE LIARS. 6) in an email she said "ok we will meet on Saturday, I'll be in contact." Saturday rolls around, and I'm literally waiting to hear from her, I check my email, nothing. My phone, nothing. Finally I decide to call her, no answer, i left a message. A day or two go by and I hear nothing from her so I decide to email her. Her response was "oh my phone took a dump, sorry about that." are you serious?! It was impossible for you to find another phone to call me as a courtesy?! Ridiculous! 7)Lastly, now this doesn't break the camels back or anything, but it definitely is unprofessional and in bad taste to say the least. On my wedding day she says, "Be sure to let me know if your event ends early so we can come get the linens" what!?! Oh yes I'll put that on my todo list on my wedding day. In conclusion: had I known what I know now about CCC I would have paid the extra .50 cents to get a more professional experience. you get what you pay for I guess. Oh and PS: she is NEVER on time.

Barb came in with the perfect suggestions for vendors and great advice about logistics. She knew exactly who to call when we said we wanted TONS of color in our florals. She knew exactly what we needed when we said the venue doesn't have a built-in bar. She read through and kept on top of all our contracts. We booked her more than a year ahead of our wedding and she stayed in contact the entire time. We had 280 total guests and the Fresno Event Group knew exactly how to handle the movement of all of the guests from parking to ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Cindy was great at setting up the site map and worked with us when we had questions about table layout and the best setup for flow. Barb had tons of tips and suggestions for moving all of the guests from space to space in our massive venue! I had one inspirational photo and a general theme and the Fresno Event Group turned our wedding into a live Pinterest board. Every single detail and idea we had was brought to life in a way that was a billion times better than we could have imagined. Everything was perfect!
