As long as I call ahead of time for any item I need they place it to the side so it will be there when I come to purchase the object. I would recommend them highly for any snorkeling goods, bikes, and/or bike parts.

Re-squaring and spacing the hangers and getting in the way while we were actively trying to look through the shirts for a family member who was visiting from the mainland. She acted like we were a bother when we were trying to look through the shirts. She even rudely asked do you even know where that is (Mākaha/Wai'anae/Ma'ili/Nanakuli)? We left without buying anything. Told her - Yes, auntie of course, we live right up the road. SMH - customer service fail. It's sad because uncle Derrick had a really nice place; my daughters used to get all their supplies here for surfing and bodyboarding, they did jr lifeguards every year, various meets, the Grom, etc. I also asked some friends about our recent experiences there and several of them said that they have had similar experiences there recently. She talks down to people and acts like customers are an inconvenience. I think this auntie is probably his family member since he doesn't seem to be able to correct her, it's at least the third or fourth time she's been rude and dismissive to us. This is the third strike. Who knows, maybe she just doesn't like the way we look!?! The last time we told uncle Derrick about the way she talked to us before we left, it doesn't seem to have made an impact. We probably won't be back again.

Unfortunately there were issues with the first dress I chose and we had to pick a second dress. It was a very difficult process and it was an emotional experience. I will say that Olivia worked hard to ensure I was taken care of by the end of it all. Ultimately the second dress worked out well and I felt good on my day which was the most importantly part. I highly recommend that if you get any alterations done in house that you work with Lagaya (I do not know how to spell her name- sorry) she was fantastic- she is only there on Sundays.

It took total of 5 appointments and dress pick up. Initially I liked both Jenny Yoo Martina dress ( simple, elegant style) and then Lillian West dress ( Boho floral lace style) that Rachel brought out to try on last. But for 2nd try on appointment, Jenny Yoo dress I liked was sold before I could try it on again. Their summer sale event ( all dresses discontinued from their racks on sale, so they can make room for new dress inventory) was going to occur the following week. I knew at that moment that I needed to select Lillian West dress, as my other option since there was no other dress from racks I wanted to try on from inital appointment and this appointment. The style I liked was A line, v neck with nice dress train and not too gothic, over bling out. With that summer sale, they cannot hold inventory for customers as it first come, first served when the shop opens. I selected that Lillian west dress before it sells off the racks. Rachel honored, gave me the sale price $500 with tax. With the alterations too, cost for the dress was over $1600 with total price of just under $1,000 for both dress, dress bag and alterations together. What a steal compared to show" Say yes to the dress", all the dresses at Kleinfield cost way more and other dress shops on the island. With the fittings, seeing both the dress with wedding veil I bought from Etsy seller along with the pearl drop earrings from Amazon, image of me as bride was stunning and made me feel like I'm ready to say I do. Masako held onto the dress until day before my December wedding as I was nervous if my cats destroy my dress happiness. I got many compliments from friends, family and my husband's co-workers who thought that dress was beautiful along with make up, hair style I had done. Very glad I went with Masako and genuinely recommend to future and engaged gals to come here if you are budget friendly shopper as the managers will work with your budget and provide recommendations. Please make an appointment online as they are appointment only, no walk in are allowed. Parking is at Whole Foods parking lot and walk over. But if you are picking up dress or having it cleaned/preserved, you are allowed to park in their assigned stalls, that way you do not carry that heavy thing across the street.

Shopping in Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. Looking for a gown for a formal wedding, I entered Do's Formal. Located on the corner of King Street and Smith Street, I parked in a loading zone which is free after 4pm. Inside, the store is filled with many gowns and even tuxedos! The variety colors and styles is overwhelming. I saw the arrows on the ground which help customers because a person could get lost in there! Service was friendly in the beginning, but cooled off in the end when I didn't like the dress that was suggested to me. I went in the dressing room, but didn't need help with the zipper. I did pull the straps shorter for a better fit, but tailoring the dress would be too much. If you need a wedding gown, suit, or prom dress, take a look here! Some styles look like beauty pageant fashion!

Her staff pulled 3 dresses for my were daughter who was shopping for a wedding dress for a Fall wedding 2026. We had gone to 2 stores in LA where she lives and couldn't find anything in her price range, under $1,000. I had made 2 bridal appointments since she is home for the holidays! The first one we canceled because the girl who was going to assist had a cough! Even though, she would wear a mask, we didn't want to take any chances! So fortunately, we went here Do Formals! It is in Chinatown and since it was a Sunday, we could find street parking! The first 2 dresses fitted her perfectly! "Like a glove" no alterations needed except to hem! They both were beautiful that we couldn't decide which one we liked more! It was the same price too $799! My daughter decided on the second one cause it would match her lacy sneakers and it had pockets! Who doesn't like a dress with pockets! Jackie helped us find the perfect veil! The lace on the outer edges matched the lace of her dress! The veil was so reasonable too! Only $69! What a deal! Spending 90 minutes to find the PERFECT gown and veil within her budget was so Lucky! It was fate! Will be back to get it hemmed! Thanks a million Jackie for all your help and valuable recommendations!

They took the time to explain the process clearly, set expectations, and treat his items with care. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully curated. Inventory is nicely displayed, prices are reasonable, and there is a good mix of brands and styles. It feels like a true community consignment shop rather than a chaotic resale rack. What really stands out is how respectful and empowering the experience was for a young entrepreneur. Tomás felt proud seeing his items on the floor and even prouder when they sold. That kind of confidence-building experience is priceless. Highly recommend Lucky Penny Consignment whether you are shopping, consigning, or supporting local resale. We will absolutely be back

We reached out to Sandra 2 years before our desired wedding date and immediately after our introductory call, we knew that we wanted to work with Sandra. Sandra broke down the wedding planning process in a way that made it really easy to work with . We didn't feel overwhelmed or stressed at any point of the planning process. She provided us with many different proposals for vendors and design that matched our vision and budget and helped us secure all the vendors that we wanted. Even with last minute changes, Sandra was able to address them quickly - a true professional! Our wedding was held at Lanikuhonua and it was the most magical day! We didn't even think for one second about the program as it flowed so effortlessly. We were present the whole night to each other and our guest and truly had the best day of our lives! Our vendors always said "Sandra will know what to do" and also was told she is the Queen of Lanikuhonua weddings and that couldn't be anymore true. We can't thank Sandra and her team enough for bring our dream wedding to life! Weeks after our wedding, our friends and family are still talking about how stunning and how much fun the wedding was. Every penny spent was well worth it and we'd do it all again a thousand times over.

Knowing she was on top of everything allowed me to be fully present and truly enjoy the day. One of the things I appreciated most was how well Sandra handled family dynamics--she was warm, patient, and so respectful. It was an extra comfort that she spoke Cantonese and was able to communicate directly with my family in Hong Kong. That personal touch made such a difference and helped everyone feel more included and at ease. Sandra also has an exceptional eye for design--everything looked stunning and came together in such an elegant, cohesive way. I'm so grateful to Sandra and her team for making our day feel effortless and beautiful.
