    My wife and I worked with Finishing Touch for our wedding in March 2024. I can't say enough great things about the quality of work and expertise Sandra and her team had from start to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. Thank you again Sandra and Team for making our day so memorable and smooth!

    Planning our wedding with Finishing Touch was the best decision we could have made! Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful, but Sandra and her team made the whole process seamless. Sandra's attention to detail, prompt communication, and great design style are just a few of her best attributes! The rest of the team is just as amazing. Kandis and Lei assisted me throughout the entire planning process--reaching out to vendors, organizing invoices, and keeping track of deadlines. Nicole was my day-of coordinator, and she was so sweet and helpful! Sandra and her team truly have that "finishing touch" that sets them apart.

    My friend recommended Finishing Touch to me and I am soooo happy I listened to her. Sandra and her team are absolutely amazing at what they do. She is super friendly and easy to talk to / work with, which made the whole planning process a breeze. We had begun our planning Dec 2019 for a March 2021 wedding, but as we all know covid hit. Although we didn't get our big celebration in 2021, she still offered some help for our mini backyard wedding by keeping me in communication with some of the vendors that I still wanted to use for our mini celebration. Also I just want to add in what a challenge it must've been for them to plan all these weddings during covid due to all the rollercoaster of changes in regulations that needed to be followed. But they continued to keep us in high spirits and were so organized in keeping us updated and moving our wedding date with the vendors. I didn't even have to do anything, but tell her which new date I wanted to postpone to! And in 2022 that's when we had our dream (second) wedding at Lanikuhonua. There was no way I could have pull off everything they did for a venue that provides nothing, but a big open space with a breathtaking sunset. The amount of details and logistics they had to provide seemed so effortless. Sandra basically asks you what you want for your wedding and makes it 10x better than you could have expected. For example, I didn't even think about how the table setting would be or even look like, she just gathered a dinner menu, our favors, and a name place card from me and she added in a little sprig and had the napkins folded a certain way, she even ordered gold utensils! They truly add in their own little finishing touches and it truly makes all the difference. One thing that impressed me the most was the behind the scenes action. So we had an open bar and bought all our beverages from Costco and my husband and I thought we knew our guests drink preferences well, but clearly not! Of course they all went for the hard liquor, which we were almost out of before the reception even begun! But here comes Sandra behind the scenes sending one of her team members to make an alcohol run for us so that we wouldn't run out. I was so impressed. And I only found out because my mom told me later about it. Crazy right?! And we all know how important alcohol can be at a wedding, lol. There really isn't anything bad I can say about Finishing Touch. They are a bit on the pricier side, but in all honesty SO worth it. The amount of planning, designing, and coordination they put into weddings is phenomenal and I would not have had it any other way. On that note, if you want the wedding of your dreams, save yourself some time and hire Sandra and her team! We truly appreciate and are so lucky to have had her. Thank you!

    Throughout our entire wedding process, my husband and I kept saying Sandra was the best decision we made. We found Sandra by researching online but realized that she had done two different weddings of people that we know in Asia. Our Hawaii wedding was a destination wedding for us and we started planning one year out, so we interacted with Sandra over a twelve month period over many emails and Zoom calls. Sandra and Kandis were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I really don't know what we would've done without Finishing Touch. A couple of things that really stood out: They got my vision completely and tried to work within our budget. I liked that Sandra wasn't pushy with anything. I never felt like she was trying to make me spend more than I wanted. She was extremely responsive (I had heard horror stories of planners in Italy for example not responding to emails for an entire month). She was very thorough in answering all of our questions and always provided alternative options/solutions. She is also very detail oriented so I never had to worry that anything would fall through the cracks. They are process-oriented, which I appreciated. Given our planning process was a year-long, I liked how there was a rough timeline, i.e. there were certain decisions that could be made early on but there were also certain things that had to wait closer to the date. Sandra made sure we hit all those milestones and got all the prep work done in a timely manner. I really appreciated the questionnaires she made us fill out as it really helped nail down a lot of the details, especially things that I hadn't thought about. Their execution on the day of was flawless. I've been to weddings where I've seen the bride stressed out on the day of her wedding. I was determined not to be like that and Sandra and her team made that possible. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and the entire schedule ran smoothly. It was truly stress-free and that was all possible thanks to Finishing Touch. Lastly, the vendors she recommended were all excellent. I was skeptical about a few since we hadn't done a trial with some of them, i.e. we hadn't really heard the band sing live before, but we were blown away by all the vendors. They were all excellent and you could tell that they've worked with Finishing Touch many times before. We received so many compliments on our wedding and you can see from the photos how beautiful it was! Finishing Touch is really worth every penny, especially if you are looking to do a destination wedding. I enjoyed working with Sandra and her team so much and highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner in Hawaii!

    Best Decision Ever!!! I am not sure where to even begin at how much joy and happiness filled my year during the entire wedding process. I wish I could relive the year of 2022 all over again up until my wedding day. I can honestly say It was literally the best day of my life. Every single detail was exactly what I envisioned my day would be and it was all thanks to the Finishing Touch team. I knew I wanted Sandra and her team to be my wedding planner when I stumbled upon her page while strolling through Instagram photos of weddings in Hawaii. After our initial consult, I could already feel the warmth of Sandra's personality through zoom and I was so confident with the decision that I found the perfect wedding planner. I am proud to say I was never one of those bride's that had any type of stress during the entire wedding planning process. Sandra was always a email/text away with any concerns or last minute changes that I requested. She will cater to your vision according to your budget as well so that is not something you have to worry about. I know wedding planners are not cheap but I can reassure you that it is worth every penny, especially with the Finishing Touch Team. My advice is to get a wedding planner and you can always budget on other things with your wedding. She is very detailed and clear on every deadline and information that she needs from you to have the perfect set up.     We were so lucky to have Sandra / Finishing Touch as our planner. She did an amazing job for our destination wedding in Hawaii. We began planning in late 2019 but had to postpone our wedding to 2022 due to COVID. Sandra and Lei were amazing from the get-go, recommending top notch vendors (all great choices and you can't go wrong with any), helping us think through every little detail about the wedding, and making the planning process as worry-free as it can be. Sandra is very organized and remembers all the details / contracts / timing etc about our wedding, even though the planning stretched for almost 2.5 years (we paused in 2020/2021 and picked back up in early 2022). That speaks to her attention to details, quality work and professionalism. We wanted the planning to be stress-free and Sandra and Finishing Touch made it happen. We flew to Hawaii one week before our wedding date and saw the venue for the first time the day before, and everything turned out to be perfect on our big day. Sandra was on site from 9:30am on our wedding day to work with vendors to set everything up, made sure that everything was under control and stayed with us throughout the entire event. Our guests raved about the wedding details and design, and all credits to Sandra's flawless execution, rich experience in planning and great taste in designs! We can't say enough about how amazing she is, and we highly recommend her to anyone who wants to do a destination wedding in Hawaii.     Other than choosing each other, Sandra and Finishing touch were the best decisions we made for our wedding day. I am originally from Oahu but living in Los Angeles, so choosing a coordinator was really important to us! Our original wedding date was set for the April just before Covid shut everything down. We had to make a difficult decision to postpone our wedding and Sandra was there to dry our tears and ensure us that everything was gonna be okay. She was patient and understanding and didn't pressure us to make any decisions. This went on about three more times which included three different postponed wedding dates, three rounds of re-contracting with vendors, and every bit of frustration on our part. During this whole process, Sandra was nothing but professional, calm, encouraging, patient and everything that we could've asked for an a planner. The week of the wedding, I had a huge family emergency and my world fell apart. I couldnt deal with anything wedding related because of trips back and forth to the hospital, but my best friends were my liaisons. Sandra was willing to talk to them and laid out all of the other options so I could still make the day special. After a lot of contemplating, we ended up going through it as originally planned, but Sandra went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and it was still everything we wanted. As expected Sandra (and her assistant Lei), were amazing on our wedding day as well. Sandra's timeline was so detailed and meticulous in the best way possible. It was down to the 5-10 minute mark and everything happened without a hitch. The best part was that I got to relax and enjoy my wedding day from start to finish. We brought tons of personal items with us including framed pictures, baskets for our favors, etc and everything was returned perfectly in order, just the way we handed it to her. I loved everything about my wedding, the ambience, the vendors, the food, the music, the flowers, etc. i had made so may changes through the re-contracting, but at the end, I loved every detail. Most of my guests even went up to us and commented how amazing everything looked and how perfect everything was executed. Maybe they're being nice but alot of them even said that it was the most beautiful wedding that they've ever been to. We can't say enough positive things about Sandra and Finishing Touch and we would highly recommend them to anyone. They are truly the best.

From start to finish, Finishing Touch planned, designed and executed our dream wedding! We were absolutely blown away with how everything came together and how perfect it was. She is very respectful, honest and a great listener. You can tell that Sandra has a passion for what she does, as she was just as excited as we were for our planning process and wedding day. We chose the "maid of honor for hire" package, and let me tell you: WORTH EVERY PENNY! We booked LLW in January 2024 for our June 2025 wedding, and from day one, Louise led the way. Our initial meeting was incredibly thorough, with a planning timeline and actionable next steps. From there, we met over Zoom throughout the year and collaborated asynchronously in between. What truly surprised us was how personally involved Louise remained. As LLW's owner, we assumed Louise might eventually pass things off--but nope. She joined every Zoom meeting, answered every email, and showed up in ways we didn't expect but fully appreciated. The "maid of honor for hire" package places design decisions in the couple's hands which can feel daunting, but we never felt alone. Our vision shifted dozens of times. We started with white and green florals, a neutral palette, and no wedding party. But thanks to LLW's encouragement and calm expertise, we embraced a totally different vibe: multicolored pastel florals, 20 mix-and-match-clad wedding party members, and a deeply personal celebration. I honestly never imagined arriving at the wedding we had--and I'm so glad we did. We also hired LLW for our florals, which were beyond anything we could've dreamed. Pinterest didn't quite capture our taste, so we pieced together inspiration boards--and Louise and her team translated it flawlessly. They gave us mockups for every arrangement, which eased our nerves, and the final result was pure magic. We were anxious about leaning into color, but LLW reassured us every step of the way. The florals felt like art. Through every change in mood board, guest list, and timeline, LLW never made us feel like we were "too much." It's wanting everything to be perfect while trying to make space for everyone's needs. What we appreciated most was Louise's unwavering support through it all. Over the 1.5 years of working together, she helped us navigate countless decisions with empathy, clarity, and kindness. She even weighed in on outfit choices multiple times--and always with patience. No matter how scattered we felt, we left every meeting feeling calmer, grounded, and reassured. And on the big day? LLW was everywhere and everything. Louise arrived at our hotel early to drop off flowers for detail shots, took extra items to the venue, and checked in with our contacts to keep everything humming. When we saw rain in Waikiki and texted her in a panic, she replied immediately: "Don't worry, it's perfect at Paliku Gardens." And it was. At the venue, Louise welcomed us with warmth. Kayla helped me into my dress, styled my veil, bustled my dress with care, and adjusted every detail throughout the day for photos. A team member passed out spam musubis and waters to guests boarding the shuttle. It was seamless. We went straight to our karaoke afterparty without a single concern in mind. So if you want a wedding that feels authentically yours, LLW is the team. They don't replicate Pinterest trends--they listen and build a celebration that reflects you. We had so many friends tell us it was the most beautiful and breathtaking wedding they'd ever attended--that it felt like *us* in every detail, and that it was an unforgettable experience for everyone we love.     Late post from December 2025 ceremony…read more Being from the mainland I was a little nervous about a company that I knew nothing about. My now husband found them with a simple Google search. Front start to finish, it was the most amazing experience. The coordination was flawless and the service was top notch. We didn't get to meet our officiant Ellsworth until the day. The photographer and videographer made us feel so comfortable! The flowers were fresh and made beautifully. The hula dancer was gorgeous and the musician was wonderful. My hair and make up artist understood the assignment and they both made me look flawless! Our photographer Carson took over 200 photos and made us feel so special! Our highlight video and ceremony video were awesome. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii as they have the wedding planning down to a science. They have something in everyone's budget I loved that they took away the hassle of booking everything separately especially since we didn't live there! Thanks everyone!

While Jayvee was very helpful during the initial planning stages, a scheduling conflict arose two weeks before our wedding, and we were handed off to Leah. Despite the short notice, Leah took over and was incredibly thorough. We scheduled multiple meetings in those final weeks to ensure she knew our vision inside and out. She immediately began checking in with our vendors to ensure everything was on track. Since we were planning from Canada (not sure why our profile says SF) and had never seen our venue, we did a walkthrough with Leah and Monique once we arrived. By the time we hit the rehearsal the day before, they knew our plans well and were identifying small details we hadn't even thought of. The real "kicker" happened the morning of the wedding: the island and our venue flash flooded, and we were forced to call off the day after hair and makeup were just wrapping up at 8AM. In what would have been a breaking point for most couples, Leah, Monique, and Jayvee were our rocks. They helped calm us down and worked tirelessly with our vendors to reschedule everything. We let them know our venue preferences (no ballrooms or conference rooms, we're in Hawaii!) and they assured us that we would be able to plan something for the next day. In less than 24 hours, they helped us plan an entirely new wedding despite unknowns about the weather. Within hours, they secured a brand-new venue, negotiated the rental of a tent left over from a previous event, coordinated with all vendors to rearrange arrival times and logistics, adjusted floor plans, and rental counts due to a shift in guest attendance, and so much more that we probably don't even know. While the total change in venue and timeline led to some unavoidable delays, we saw Leah and Monique working incredibly hard to pivot and make the day beautiful. They "married" our original vision with these new, emergency arrangements as perfectly as possible. It was also the nicest day we had experienced on the island since landing several days before, a huge blessing. Once we finally made it down the aisle, they kept us on schedule and completely stress-free. Because of them, we were able to actually soak in and enjoy our wedding day, even though everything felt brand new. Having Leah and Monique by our side was a true blessing, we cannot recommend them enough for their expertise, heart, and ability to perform under pressure. Leah, Monique, and Jayvee - we love you!

We are super grateful to have had them be a big part of our big day. My husband and I booked Kualoa Ranch as our wedding venue. They require a coordinator, so I reached out to a friend who had recently gotten married and she recommended ABC Weddings because they did an awesome job on her wedding. So that is what we did! We booked the Signature Hybrid Package. We booked ABC about 1.5 years prior to our wedding day. The team was so organized and very thorough throughout the entire process! We filled out a questionnaire to give the team an idea of our vision. They provided a comprehensive Google Sheet which included a planning checklist, our budget/payment tracker, our event timeline, inventory list, seating chart & guest list, and a list of recommended vendors based on our budget. As we got closer to our wedding date, Sammy was assigned to be our lead coordinator. We communicated over emails and mostly via text message for convenience. We met with her regularly over Zoom so we could go over our sheets and discuss our timeline, layout, etc. You can trust the ABC team with the layout; they know what they're doing and the placement of vendors/stations makes sense. Sammy made sure to capture every little detail that we mentioned we wanted for our wedding. She answered all questions my husband and I had. We didn't have to wait more than a business day for a response, which we truly appreciated. We were in the middle of a Kona Low storm during the week of our wedding, and my husband and I were worried about the weather, especially on our big day. The ABC team had a solid rain plan just in case, and kept us updated quick. Very fortunately, we just had a slight drizzle the morning of and did not rain the rest of the day :') it was nice to have a good rain plan handy, thanks to the team. I consider myself a Type A person who likes to meticulously plan trips and friends' birthdays, and trust me when I say a wedding coordinator is a MUST, no matter how organized you think you are lol. There are so many little details we definitely would've missed if we didn't have one. Our wedding day turned out to be a dream come true for my husband and me. Our ceremony and reception literally looked like images I saved to my Pinterest board! Everything went as planned and more. We were mostly on time with our timeline. It was so beautiful seeing everything we've planned for in the past year and a half come to life. Everyone we love was under one tent, they all looked like they were having a fun time, including our vendors. Shoutout to Jamie, Krista, and Sammy for taking care of me, my bridesmaids, my husband, and his groomsmen from the morning of our wedding to the end of the night! They all made sure we had everything we needed, including giving us our pupus, cocktails, and dinner so we wouldn't have to wait in line, and for even helping me fix my dress bustle! They all did an excellent job coordinating our wedding and making sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the night. For background information, we purchased their basic package for $3000 (which is only for hotel venues). The first mishap was when I wanted to schedule an appointment to discuss additional questions I had ($120 for 1 hour). They never showed up for my appointment. I did try calling their main line and the coordinators cell phone, but it all went to voicemail. In the end, it turned out that the coordinator was moving and had a lot on her plate, so my appointment fell through the cracks. They ended up scheduling me another meeting free of charge, which I did appreciate. In October, I was really feeling the pressure, so I inquired about having my coordinator start 3 weeks earlier than planned. ABC Weddings was quick to respond and have my lead coordinator, Sammy, start earlier for a $500 fee, to which I paid. Here's where things take a turn for the disappointing. When Sammy took over point of contact (POC), I still had my vendors emailing me directly for questions/info. Also, when I asked Sammy questions about my venue (i.e. rehearsal times/location, basic questions regarding catering, etc), she wasn't sure a lot of the times, which then meant I had to ask my venue directly. This wasn't EVERY time, but it was a lot of the time, which I felt defeated the purpose of taking over POC. I also felt there wasn't closed loop communication, so I was unsure of what Sammy was doing on her side with the vendors until the very end when I asked her to CC me on her final emails with timelines so I knew what they were being told. At the rehearsal, Sammy only had 2 copies of the timeline printed, which was not enough to distribute to both our parents and our maid of honor/best man. Additionally, we also learned at the rehearsal that she was NOT going to be the person actually coordinating the day. For example, letting us know where to go and when, updating the timeline if there are any changes, etc. Per our contract, it states: "We will check in with you before the professional photographer arrives to organize the important details, check in with family members, keep the timeline moving smoothly, get you out the door on time, organize requested group photos, and overall customer service throughout the day!" The huge missing pieces for us was checking in with family members, keeping the timeline moving smoothly, and getting us out the door on time. On the day of, Sammy was already confused on a decor piece that we had discussed at previous meetings, which led to me having to re-explain to her what I wanted during my hair/makeup. She did not check-in with any of my family members/bridal party. She only had communication with my matron of honor who was running the entire timeline/day, and this was largely because my matron of honor was the one checking in with her. She did not text us to let us know when to go where, so we were completely on our own. When it came time to put on my wedding gown, Sammy was unable to zip my dress, and the entire time I was clearly upset, she did not offer any reassurance or support, but rather spent time in the living room looking lost/confused. She did call the wedding shop, per my suggestion, and they came to the venue to help put on my dress which was amazing on their part (Casablanca!). Due to the issue with the dress, our timeline got pushed back by 15-20 mins, to which she told my matron of honor to let my parents know to delay our first look. Why didn't she text them and update the timeline herself? Although it worked out, this situation was not solved nor made better by Sammy. Honestly it felt like she didn't want to be there and didn't have a lot of care for our wedding day. I did share my thoughts with Lauren (CEO) post-wedding, and she was very apologetic but explained that "Our lead coordinators focus primarily on managing logistics, vendors, and timeline flow behind the scenes so couples can remain present and enjoy their day". This is confusing because that's not what is stated in our contract nor expected from our conversations. I understand she was doing the behind the scenes, but why was the timeline piece missing? There were two coordinators on site, to which I was told the 2nd coordinator would be doing setup/vendor management, but it seems like that's not the case? Irregardless, I felt the contract was not met, and that there was not any management for us, the wedding party and family members. Sadly, I would not recommend ABC Weddings if you are purchasing the basic coordination package. It definitely seemed that because I purchased the lowest tier, we were not high priority and it did not feel like they were willing to go above and beyond for one of the most special days of our lives.

It was helpful during the intake because they ask specific questions to narrow down your search and give you a very easy list of the options for what you are looking for. I do think it would have been a smoother process in the beginning if there was regular communication from the very getgo but it was a little slow as I'm sure they had to prioritize the weddings that were more upcoming. However when it came time closer to our wedding they were definitely very involved in trying to get all details lined up. I had some anxiety with the wedding and whole planning process especially with the weather conditions but there was consistent and constant communication leading up and their advice and suggestions/expertise really helped in making decisions. The day itself was difficult as it was really downpouring right up until the ceremony began but seeing the staff and Cindy and Jessica work so hard for all things to come together was really wonderful and you can tell they really worked hard to make everything come together. Planning a destination is not easy at all and as much of a difficulty it is making decisions, having this team really made it so much easier and you can feel like you can leave it up to them to get everything completed. There were a few hiccups with some items of course that you can expect with all weddings for sure but it was still such an amazing and easy experience that you don't even care about the things that didn't go fully right and just remember the amazing time and the whole wedding that it didn't feel there were any regrets at all. Cindy especially was so good at responses and answering all the nitty gritty that they are such a great team and Jessica really tries to take on the stresses for you so that you're not stressed as the bride. Thankfully, the Idowedding team hand held us through the entire process from advising which hotel to stay at and what's popular to eat. Their care allows you to stress less.
