Our wedding was in May and as we look through our wedding photos we can't be anymore grateful for Amanda and her team (the Bellas). In late 2023, we had calls with around ten wedding planners/coordinators and out of all those great choices, we had our heart set on Amanda. Right off the bat, she was SO easy to talk to and made me feel so comfortable. I've heard of many "wedding planner horror stories" and I felt so comfortable during our consultation call to voice my concerns/worries. She described her own process to me and what I should expect which reassured me that this wasn't going to be the case with her. Amanda was the head/sole planner throughout the entire process compared to other places starting off with one planner and then midway getting assigned another planner that would be taking over for the rest which also reassured me that details, big and small, wouldn't be lost along the way. We knew she'd be a perfect fit for us. The planning process included little to no stress because of her! She is very knowledgeable about vendors, our venue's layout and needs, rules, etc. Of course she was extremely helpful in narrowing down our vendor choices (we had an all-star vendor team), but she also took a lot of the stress away thinking about all the logistics and small details I wouldn't have even thought about it if I was trying to do this on my own! She also was respectful of our budget even though my husband and I decided to go over lol, but even though we were over she still suggested different ways to save which all worked out in our favor. Her other strengths are her creativity and design taste. Even when we couldn't envision it, she would and we trusted her fully. There was a reason I was drawn to her after looking at her website and Instagram. There were times throughout the process where I'd get stressed since I am a worry wart, but she always reassured me that everything will work out and that we actually do have enough time. Our check-in calls always felt like talking to a good friend, while still being professional. I loved that about her! Wedding week came and Amanda was able to help us plan our welcome party. She came early to help set up and ensure our rentals came on time and I had everything that I needed. It was a huge success! We wrapped up a couple small details and again, she took care of it all so that we could relax a little. As for the big day... that day was literally a DREAM. I was mentally preparing myself for any possible mishaps to occur like they usually do, but there wasn't even any mishaps that we noticed! We were just a tad bit behind on our timeline and a lot more of our guests ended up taking our transportation than we had accounted for, but they adapted quickly and took care of everything for us. That's how much Amanda and her team were on it right away, so much so, that day went flawless to us. Were so in awe with how beautiful everything turned out. They always made sure we also ate, had drinks in our hand, hydrated, and even sat and fanned the flies away from our food while we continued to take pictures (s/o to the Bellas x2). 4 months later and our guests are still talking about how beautiful our day was and we seriously cannot thank Amanda and her Savvy team enough for everything as they executed our dream wedding. We look back at our all photos and we're sad that we just want to keep reliving the day over and over. Thank you for an amazing day we will never ever forget! read more

Amanda and her team were absolute lifesavers as our day-of coordinators! With so many details to incorporate--like our Siva Samoa, lei ceremony, dinner hula, fire dancers, and live musicians--Amanda and her team managed everything flawlessly. They kept everything on schedule and ensured each part of our celebration was executed perfectly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Their attention to detail and ability to handle the logistics (alllll the rentals!) of such a dynamic day was incredible. They made sure everything ran smoothly, from the moment we arrived to the final dance. If you're looking for a day-of coordination team that is organized, calm, and dedicated to bringing your vision to life--especially with lots of moving parts (and outfit changes)--we can't recommend Amanda and her team enough! read more

We worked with Sandra for almost 2 years planning our wedding. When we started, we had a strong idea of what we wanted for our wedding but a really hard time finding the right venue in California. Hiring Sandra was one of the best decisions in our wedding planning process we could have made. She found 25 + venue options for us and scheduled in person site visits. Without her, we would not have found the perfect venue for our vision. Our favorite part of hiring Sandra was that it never felt like work planning our wedding. It was as fun as we wanted it to be. Anything that we didn't have time to handle we knew we could trust Sandra to help us with. Although we had an unconventional wedding in mind, we loved her enthusiasm and energy when we brought up new ideas. She always worked with us to make it happen. We would 10 out of 10 recommend Sandra for a wedding planner! read more

Amanda was our lead wedding planner and she and her A team went above and beyond to make sure our special wedding day was the most amazing we could have ever imagined! My husband and I were so thrilled with all of the attention to details and for taking care of any little or big tasks that came about the day of and the weeks before. I originally reached out to Amanda because we wanted to plan a Hawaii destination wedding. We ended up changing our minds a few weeks into the process and found a local beautiful venue in San Francisco that best suited our needs and vision. Amanda, originally from California was still able to be our lead planner for the day of and flew into SF just to make sure our wedding day was perfect. She was very communicative throughout the planning process and we kept in close contact the 7 months leading up to the big day! She was hands on with all of our vendors and family members and everyone complimented her professionalism and easy to get along with personality. We loved Amanda and Savvy Weddings!! Made our day a complete fairy tale and we will never forget how wonderful we felt the day of not having to worry about anything! read more

We didnt even get a chance to experience the complimentary consultation. A meeting was scheduled but nobody called, texted or emailed. Not much we can say besides poor planning. Update: I was told that by the coordinator that they are not in a position to fight for our business, as she excused herself for missing the appointment. read more

We just had our wedding at the Halekulani in Honolulu. I can't say enough good things about how Amanda made our wedding so special. Both my husband and I were able to relax and have a good time both leading up to and during our destination wedding because of Amanda's hard work. Amanda was familiar with all of the potential vendors and every person she referred us to was excellent. Even down to helping us select our menu, everything she suggested was perfect. Amanda is an absolute pleasure to work with and I highly recommend letting her help you plan your special day. read more

Amanda went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was what I wanted and more! Our wedding was planned at the peak of covid shut down. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding several times. Amanda never dropped the ball on any details and always was on top of regulations in the event things would open up spontaneously. We are originally from California and we were having a destination wedding. Considering we were not physically present to meet vendors we had to put our trust in Amanda. She never failed! She heard me cry laugh and much more. I never thought I would make a life long friend with my wedding planner. Although the wedding plans were dragged out and out of our control due to Covid regulations, Amanda pulled off our wedding with last minute notice! The day of our marriage was magical! Everything was taken care of including my well being! If I can talk personally to other brides about each detail and EXTRAS Amanda did considering all the ups and downs anyone could ever go through with a world crisis. I would not hesitate to give out my personal information to have a chat! If your looking for a planning company that fits all the check boxes your looking for, Savvy weddings has it! Do your self a favor and book with them! I wish I could write more about all things catered to my husband, family and I. Thank you Savvy Weddings and Amanda for going above and beyond ! read more

Throughout the planning process we weren't sure of who to hire and had gone through many coordinators, especially through the Wedding Cafe, but we weren't going to spend 3000+ for a Coordinator. We knew what we wanted, we wanted to experience the entire wedding planning, but didn't want to deal with the day of stress. We were referred to Savvy Weddings by our florist, Spinning WEB who had raved immensely about Jennifer and her team. During our first meeting Jennifer got straight to the point and went through all the different types of packages they offered. We knew right away the Tall package (Day of Coordination) suited us perfectly. They had given us a reasonable rate and was well within our budget. Any questions we had the year and months to our wedding, they had replied quickly and efficiently to. All communication was done through email, phone calls were encouraged, however, not needed. We were feeling more stressful, maybe just me, about a month to the wedding.. but once we had our final meeting it was all smooth sailing from there. Jennifer thought of everything.. The timeline.. Songs.. Vendors... Deposits... Props... She was even there for the Wedding Rehearsal. Everything was on point. We didn't have to communicate with the other vendors because she dealt with all of it and had given them a Master Timeline weeks/ days to the big day. It really seemed like a Day of Coordinaton was more like a Month of Coordination. They went above and beyond what we imagined. We could go on and on about Savvy Weddings but it was because of them our wedding went by smoothly. My mother in law was late for the ceremony, but I didn't find out until a week after the wedding. They made sure the timeline and all our needs were adressed. We will be forever grateful for Jennifer and Traci! read more

Hiring a wedding planner is the right thing to do, if you want your wedding day to be painless. Especially when dealing with a short time to prepare a destination wedding. Visualizing the entire process is almost impossible, especially trying to understand all steps required to plan your special day. Jenn knew how to put our wedding together just the way we wanted without having to explain too much. The wedding venues/vendors she recommended were all great. You just have to trust her. Honestly, all of our guests referred to our wedding as the flawless/best wedding ever. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Jenn , Kelly , and Tayzha. read more

Jenn and her team are extremely professional and know their stuff when it comes to wedding planning. Before the wedding as we were finalizing everything, she knew the details to hone in on and pointed out things that I didn't think about. On the day of the wedding, the Savvy representative who was with me, was extremely calm and collected. Savvy was able to put my ceremony and reception together in only 15 minutes (the venue only gave us that much time). I forgot I left my marriage certificate in a file tucked away in my bags, but somehow they found it without even asking me. I highly recommend her! read more

PS: The wedding coordination is still in progress, I will update with follow up review. The experience we've had so far with Savvy is quite mixed. We decided to go with Savvy because 1) they are on our venue's preferred wedding coordinator list, 2) all positive reviews on Yelp. However, our communication has been very slow. It has been over a month since we locked in contract, we haven't even gotten the 1st draft of planning documents. It feels more like constantly tapping on our planner and asking for response or update after passing the promised delivery date. Not sure if this is going to continue to be this way. Now our wedding is less than 6 months away, I am freaking out here. If you have worked with Savvy before, please message me and let me know of your experience. read more

With a month to plan and being ridiculously busy, we only had the venue locked in for our wedding. Jennifer and Amanda took care of us down to every last detail. They would make suggestions and weren't pushy about them but usually were spot on in the purpose of their recommendation. Having done so many weddings, they were extremely familiar with the quality of service each company would provide. They even negotiated better deals with all the vendors which saved us even more money! We went in scared out of our minds at the idea of planning a wedding and getting married but they definitely made our special day feel care free and MAGICAL! Thank you guys so much! You're the Best! I picked Savvy as they were a recommended vendor on the Turtle Bay Resort List and their price range was in line with our budget. Jenn and her team did such a fantastic job on our wedding. We were thrilled with the results and all of our friends/family were so impressed by them. #Communication: A- - Jenn prefers emails especially due to time difference. - We had monthly skype chats approx 1hour long that increased to every 1-2 weeks as wedding got closer - Early on when you are farther away from your wedding Jenn's responses would take up to 1 wk. So if you are really super hands on bride this might not be good for you. For me it was perfect because I didn't want to stress out. - As wedding got closer I always felt that I could contact the team quickly - Super professional and meet us when we arrived in Hawaii prior to the wedding #Creativity: B+ - Jenn makes inspiration boards based on your ideas (ie Pinterest) - However I felt that for the aspects that made the wedding unique I drove most of the ideas and tried to execute them separately. For example I purchased most of my own table decorations (easle, frames, windmill) and wedding favors. However it was also b/c I wanted to find the best deals. #Follow through: A+++++ - I was able to ship things directly to them. - They did a fantastic job putting together favor bags and our wedding favors - Everything we spoke about was executed w/o issues. Trust is soo important!!! #Day of coordination: A+++++ - Worth every bit that we spent b/c the team was on point. This was where they shined. - They had 3 people from Savvy show up. I had a personal assistant with me whole day to help with incidentals ie) steaming bridesmaid dresses, time management during photos etc... while Jenn and Terri managed everything else (setup, arrangements of tables, coordinating vendors) - Great at trouble shooting: we had issue with guests changing their minds last minute about their entrees and this was dealt without me or my husband even knowing - The wedding rehearsal also ran very smoothly b/c of Jenn #Value: A+ - They were reasonably priced. There are three different tiers depending on your needs. - The only comment I will leave is that to get extra cost savings for the wedding I felt that it was up to me to come up with creative ideas to do things on a lower budget but still have a large impact. For example with linens I scoured the internet to find a place with cheap linens so that I didn't have to pay to rent them at a high cost. This was not suggested to me. Overall though we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend them to our family and friends. read more

2.5 months later and I'm finally getting around to reviewing my wonderful team of vendors. Jenn and Kris were absolutely wonderful day-of-coordinators. They worked so well together and were very knowledgeable, efficient and effective with their executions. They got down the tiniest of details like remembering to bring my slippahs and a cotton towel to wipe my feet post-beach pictures. So cute! The "Tall Package" was perfect for our budget and needs. The groom and I are pretty thorough planners and wanted to make our special day "ours," but we definitely needed day-of coordinators to keep us sane... Savvy was so good about pointing out all the details we over-looked and they really know how to plan a day-of-timeline minute by minute. Our wedding day was incredibly perfect with much of their help. I will say though that emails weren't returned as quickly as I hoped (Hawaiian VS. Mainland time? ha), but then again I think I was contacting them during their busy season. When it came down to 1-2 months prior to the wedding, they were definitely on top of their game when I needed it the most. I don't know how we could have pulled it all of without them. Much love & Aloha, Kris & Jenn. \m/ read more

We opted for day of coordination. Savvy made our day run so smoothly. We were really impressed with their professionalism, organization, thoughtfulness, and quick thinking! We were raving to all our friends and family and they also commented on their positive experience with you. We are so grateful to have you on our wedding day and cannot thank you enough. We were able to really enjoy our day. We knew it would be crazy but we had no idea how chaotic the day gets. read more

Jen and her team at Savvy we're absolutely amazing! From the initial meeting we set up months before our wedding all the way through to the big day they were helpful, patient, supportive and very professional. I loved working with them and would recommend them to anyone I know. There were a couple minor hiccups on my wedding day (I.e. a ton of rain and a rather difficult DJ) and Jen and her team handled everything like absolute champs! Everything was seamless and came together perfectly! My wedding was the best day of my life and I owe it all to them!! If you want the best wedding coordinators in all of Hawaii definitely go with Savvy!! read more

Jenn and her team helped tremendously on the day of our wedding. One of the coordinator was with us the entire time the day of to make sure we were constantly well taken care of while another coordinator was on site handling everything else with the vendors. We would recommend to get their help at least on the day of because they would know a lot of things you don't normally think about and will be too busy to handle yourself on the big day. We started working with them about one year before our wedding. Their initial response time for the first few months were a little slow, however as the date gets closer, they would start to respond more quickly. read more

Jen jumped in literally the day before the wedding and was a tremendous help. I gave her a rough draft of the wedding timeline and she ran with it and filled in all the gaps in an instant. The next day she had the complete timeline finished and the entire day went ridiculously smooth considering she learnt of my wedding just 24 hours before. She was incredibly nice and gracious and I felt a thousand times less stressed having there. Having a wedding coordinator is a must! They take away all of your stress so that you can focus on enjoying the most important day of your life. You don't need to look for any other coordinator, stop right here and call her! You will be extremely satisfied with your decision. Aloha! read more

Jenn and her team were professional, thorough and invaluable in planning our daughter's wedding at the Turtle Bay Resort on O'hau. She knew exactly what to do and could meet any of our last minute needs. We highly recommend her for planning your wedding and all other event needs. read more

We could not have been happier with Jenn and her team at Savvy! We live outside the US and had never set foot in Hawaii. The thought of planning a wedding there felt daunting to say the least! The moment we spoke to Jenn, she alleviated all of our worries. We had regular skype meetings when we needed to talk about elements of the wedding or if I needed help deciding something. She was on the ball with our planning timeline and was so knowledgeable about the wedding world. I could ask her any question, and she had an answer or suggestion. She went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect and let me tell you it was! It exceeded all our expectations and dreams. I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Hawaii. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jenn!! read more

Working with Jen and her team at Savvy was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We discovered Savvy Weddings on a review site along with a few other planners that looked appealing and the first interaction alone was what sold us on working with them. Out of all the planners we reached out to, Jen was the quickest to respond and was the friendliest to talk to. Once we decided to move forward with Savvy's destination package, Jen helped us hit the ground running and figure out the plan for the next several. Throughout the course of the planning process she kept us up to speed on everything she was organizing and helped keep us on track for the items we were managing. When it came time to select vendors, she provided us with several options for each one and provided insight into what she like best about them. If we asked to see additional options, Jen and her team would quickly source them and send them our way. Jen also helped us organize a planning trip to Hawaii where we met with all of the vendors and did the venue walk through. Jen did an amazing job scheduling the meetings and also made sure we had time to relax and enjoy our trip. When it came time for the wedding, Jen helped us plan and coordinator all our wedding week activities as well as the packing and delivery of the welcome bags. When there was an issue with one of the events and the number of guests (which was our fault), Jen was there to work with the vendor and smooth it over. On our wedding day, Jen and Tracy were both there to ensure it was flawless. Whenever we needed something or wanted to make an adjustment, they made it happen. It was so wonderful not having to worry about anything because we knew Jen and Tracy had it handled. We were also really happy with how they interacted with and helped our guests. Several guests told us after that they were very impressed with Jen and Tracy and were jealous that they did not have Savvy as their wedding planner. We would highly recommend Savvy to anyone planning a wedding or event! read more

Being a typical gung-ho bride, I tried to plan my wedding by myself. About two months out, a concerned friend told me that I needed to get a planner. And in came Jenn of Savvy to the rescue! She was able to point out things that I had overlooked (even down to tiny details such as packing up a few plates of food for me and my groom). Jenn is very professional and extremely easy to work with. Her husband, Rich, is great and he helped build a beautiful arch for our ceremony as well as hand steamed our table linens amongst a million other things that day. They are a SUPER DUO! On my wedding day, I was calm, cool, and collected because I knew that Jenn had everything under control. Her team was with us from morning to night, without skipping a beat. I honestly couldn't have had the wedding of my dreams without Jenn and her team. I highly recommend anyone getting married, whether you need full planning or simply day of coordination to hire Savvy Weddings. They are a God send! read more

Jen from savvy coordination was amazing. I had a destination wedding and was very stressed. Jenn helped relieve that stress towards the end because she was very organized and helpful. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator, trust me just DO IT. I put it off as long as I could to try and save money but jenn and Amanda at savvy are worth every penny. When I finally decided to bite the bullet and hire wedding coordination I chose savvy because they were quick to reply to emails, they were very easy to talk to on the phone and their prices were very affordable. Being from out of state I was worried how this would go but they made the process so easy! They kept me up to date helped me stick to a timeline and made sure to email me updates in a timely manner, even though I'm sure I was so slow to reply to emails. They met me at my hotel the day before rehearsal to go over any last minute items, they came to rehearsal to make sure we understood what was expected for the actual wedding day and Amanda showed up bright and early on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly. She was so amazing! She was very personable and friendly and seemed like one of the girls rather than a stranger telling us what to do. She helped us stick to our timeline made sure we were all fed and had everything we needed. My bridesmaids loved her and I got so many compliments! jenn was at the wedding site and when I showed up everything looked so amazing I wanted to cry. They even got rid of some uninvited and unexpected guest for me who just decided to show up so I didn't even have to deal with that! I'm so glad I decided to hire them they went above and beyond my expectations and were such a delight to work with. read more

Jenn never called me, if I called her and she usually answered, not always but she never called me back or just called me with an update. It seems she prefers to communicate via email, and did so very often which is fine but I wanted to talk to someone since the event was being planned from afar. I find the tone of emails can sometimes be misleading, and things can get lost in multiple emails being sent back and forth hence my preference to chat over the phone. Everything came together the day of (mostly due to our amazing venue) but there were details that were overlooked, such as purchasing tickets for my family members for a tour for the wrong day, arriving 2 hours late the morning of the wedding (luckily hair and make up was on time), not cleaning the vases and forgetting to putting water in them for the fresh flowers, forgetting/not ordering champagne glasses for the expensive champagne my husband bought for me and my bridesmaids to enjoy in the bridal suite which he organized with planners... so we ended up drinking very nice champagne out of water glasses, it was still great but DETAILS were missed. Jenn didn't seem happy to be working in the wedding industry , or maybe just not happy to work with us. We are detail oriented people so we would ask lots of questions and were looking for suggestions since we don't live in the area. We were often met with annoyance and were made to feel like it was our fault that things weren't being done. We used the Destination Full Service Planning Package, I was expecting more support and was disappointed. read more

Jenn was exactly what we needed on the day of our wedding. She made sure everything went smoothly, and if there were any issues the day of she made sure to take care of things without us ever knowing. I highly recommend having a day of coordinator, especially having Savvy be that. read more

Jenn and Sara was really helpful in planning our wedding remotely. First of all, if you are planning a destination wedding i HIGHLY recommend at least a day of coordinator. I also had wonderful experience with Jenn from Savvy weddings. I did the day of coordinator package, which still left A LOT of work for me to do on my own, however I wanted to be a part of the planning process since I like to plan events. Savvy provided me with a list of vendors to contact, which helped with vendor selection. I pretty much had to plan everything and then the week of the wedding Jenn took over. The day of the wedding was fantastic. Terri stayed with me the entire day while getting ready, etc and helped everything run smoothly. She let people in and out of the room, took care of a few final payments and helped with basically anything I needed the day of the wedding. Jenn helped coordinate the rehearsal and the wedding. She helped in having me submit a lot of information the month of, and week of which kept me organized. Savvy provided a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them! read more

Jenn and her team at Savvy Weddings exceeded our expectations! We chose Savvy for their day-of coordination package and their passion for what they do. They are very organized and detail-oriented. They really sold us on "making our vision a reality." And that is just what they did! Because we got ready at a beach house off site from our ceremony, a team member was there to make sure we were on time and had everything we needed before we left, while the rest of the team was setting up at the venue. When I first saw our ceremony and reception area I couldn't believe it! Everything looked perfect and just how I wanted it. The best part and the thing the we appreciated the most was that they made sure that we were ok, that we ate, and that we were enjoying our special day. They took away all of the stress so that we could enjoy ourselves and be with our guests. I cannot imagine all of the correspondence that went on behind the scenes w/ all of our other vendors and appreciate their hard work and professionalism. read more

I was so lost when I was trying to find a coordinator for our destination wedding, who was within our budget as well. We came across Jenn K from Savvy Weddings from the internet and am so glad I did! Jenn was always easy to get a hold of via email (which is my preferred way of communication as we were planning a destination wedding). We also had 3 phone conferences prior to the wedding as well as an in person get together and she was very accommodating with our availability (Even with her busy schedule). We still wanted to do majority of the wedding planning but we used Jenn and her team for the day of wedding service and they were great! Super organized and were able to make our wedding perfect! They were extremely detail oriented, able to keep us on our time line (which we definitely appreciated) and provided emergency equipment (extension cord, jewelry cleaner, lighter, pretty much all the little things you forget about).
