Bouquet was EXACTLY what I wanted, flowers on torches so pretty.

We used Lanikai wedding to coordinate our wedding on Lanikai Beach in June 2024. Janet was extremely easy to work with, she got my requests *exactly* right, and she provides beautiful flowers and an amazing officiant. Our day was absolutely exactly what I wanted thanks to Lanikai Weddings. The price is very reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

Janet was there with us every planning step of the way. We had our wedding at the mid pacific country club and we could not be happier with our wedding day. The decorations at the ceremony and the ballroom was better than we could have imagined. Janet was always available by email and by phone. Janet was very flexible and very willing to work towards our wedding vision. Even with changes days before the wedding was not a problem for her. She knew the country club inside and out and had plans and answers for all of our questions and scenarios so that we were stress free going in to our wedding day. Thank you so much for being part of our special day.

Our dream wedding come to life. Lanikai Wedding is a family run wedding planning/coordinating service. Janet is the main coordinator and she was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I live in Las Vegas. We always wanted to do a intimate destination wedding with our family and some friends. After doing our research, and inquiring on a couple of wedding planning service in Hawaii, we have decided to go with Lanikai weddings. We went with their beach wedding with the country club reception package, which you won't be able to beat for the price. The planning was a breeze. Planning a wedding from a far was kinda scary for me, not being able to see the venue, or taste test the food/cake was kind of a gamble. Janet was really great at gauging what I wanted with the very little information I gave her. It was very easy to get a hold of her thru emails/phone calls/ texts. The ceremony was just wonderful. From the ocean, the weather, the flowers, to the ceremony, it was all perfect. We had the Hawaiian ceremony, with a Hawaiian minister (which includes Hawaiian chants/vows. It was really beautiful. If you could request for our minister, you won't be disappointed. To be able to get married on the sand at lanikai with the view of the Mokolua islands was a plus. The reception was held at mid-pacific country club. With the view of the mountains and ocean, it was really nice. Service was superb, & food was really good. We picked a buffet style dinner to give our guests options. It came with prime rib carving station, different entrees, salads, desserts. Food was plenty & scrumptious. I'm gonna say, that things didn't all go according to plan. Like our car (our own rental, that we used to shuttle people from the country club to the beach) had a flat tire... that was when all the guests were already at the beach and they were all waiting for me (the bride.) I panicked a little (on the inside....) but Janet and Yukio (her husband) took care of everything. Janet made sure I was okay. We ended up driving another car, while Yukio took care of the flat tire as I get married. I know this review is lengthy. But if you are getting married in Oahu, and still in search of who to do it, Lanikai Wedding is the one. You won't be disappointed. You'll be taken care of. And really you can't beat it for the price. Thanks Janet, Yukio, & family. All the guests loved the wedding.

Thank you to Lanikai Weddings for helping us create our Hawaii Dream Wedding! We had our small 30 person wedding in mid September on Lani Kai Beach 10:30am and a reception following at the mid pac country club from 11-3pm. Without a doubt we would highly recommend Janet and Lani Kai Weddings. Janet is an amazing lady who truly wants you to have the wedding of your dreams. First off if you have time, get to know her..she has such an interesting story and background going from teaching, to being a pilot to now a wedding coordinator. She's cultured, fun and down to earth. She is very fair and not trying to nickel and dime you on everything like so many other wedding venues/coordinators. Our wedding was simple yet beautiful and Janet honored all of our requests from music to flowers, food and transportation. We were coordinating from the mainland so we had to go off pictures and Janet's recommendations but everything ended up being exactly what we wanted and how we pictured it. If you are picky and long distance you will need to work on your end to communicate with Janet and ask questions but she is always very thorough and responsive. This is a small company with the majority of the work being done by Janet and her husband so so keep that in mind and be patient with the small operation. Though we had a budget for our wedding and made sure to stick to it, we ended up being several hundred dollars under budget, and a lot of it was due to Janet's suggestions on getting the best deal for you buck. The Ceremony was breathtaking views of the moks and turquoise blue ocean and we had a Christian Minister named John Fuchigama who was amazing and even brought a conch shell to blow for our kiss. The other special touch was the Ukulele player, who was not only an excellent musician and singer but also really funny and cracked a few jokes before the ceremony. Janet told us he was the cousin of the famous Hawaiian musician IZ The photographer that Janet worked with was really awesome at capturing everything and reminding us of people we hadn't taken a picture with. We didn't skim on anything, especially not the food. We didn't know what the food would be like but the MidPAC reviews were really good so we were very hopeful. The buffet options we chose ended up being beyond our expectations. We got the most positive remarks about the mashed potatoes and the steak carving station. Though the steak carving station was extra, it was well worth it. People enjoyed the deserts that came with the buffet as well In my opinion the cake was the best though. I had a small two tier chocolate mac nut ganache cake that was GLUTEN FREE and had buttercream icing decorated with a few purple orchids. It was the best wedding cake I've ever had. The Bride usually isn't known for eating a lot of food, but I ate a lot and had 2 pieces of the cake. We had the 30 person cake but it fed well over 30 and we had leftovers. On the music, Janet permitted us to use a local musician I knew. Kameuella Kahoano who was amazing and did a great job entertaining and singing a mix of wedding songs and Hawaiian songs. He even played Baby Shark for my niece. Kamuela is now on Janet's Vendor list I believe. Everyone thought the personal musician was a nice touch so I highly recommend it. Flowers is the one thing we skimmed on. Why because the Hawaii views from the Mid Pac were already enough. I asked to purchase a few bags of orchids and spread them on the2 long guest tables and cake instead of spending a few hundred on arranged flowers. I did however have an amazing white rose and purple orchid bridal bouquet through the vendor Janet used. I really loved them! We paid for a van to shuttle people from beach to midpac. Though it was extra, it was nice to not have people worried about walking or parking or carpooling to the beach. So if you are planning a simple but beautiful wedding that is for smaller groups than Lani Kai Weddings is a perfect fit for you. Our group had an amazing time and enjoyed the whole wedding and continues to tell us how much they enjoyed it. For us it was an amazing beautiful party that we will never forget. Thank you Janet and Lani Kai Weddings

Janet & Lanikai Wedding created and designed the most beautiful day for my husband and I. It was truly a fairytale from the flowers, to the rose peddle path in the sand, to the orchid torches to the Hawaiian officiant to the ukulele player to the deep turquoise sea! I could go on and on and on about how amazing Janet was to work with and how well the wedding played out. Love her calm and kind being she's overall just a great person to be around - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts C.C. & Sandra

Janet handmade our aisle pieces and our guests absolutely loved them!!

Absolutely amazed by Janet!! She went above and BEYOND, from being adaptable to our last minute changes, late night phone calls, spur of the moment meetings with vendors and venue, and so much more! She was incredible to work with. Her professionalism, personable personality and attention to detail made our wedding planning process incredibly easy. Our wedding wouldn't have been possible without her. We left everything up to Janet with our decor and she turned our venue into a BEAUTIFUL, tropical setting! She's incredibly knowledgeable and I highly recommend!!

The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

Key Project Banquet Hall was honestly such a great place for my dad's celebration of life reception…read morethis past Saturday, April 18th. The hall is really big, so it fit all of our family and friends comfortably without feeling packed or stressful. Everything felt welcoming as soon as we walked in, and it gave us the space we needed to come together for something that meant a lot to all of us. It just made the whole day feel a little easier to handle. Setting everything up was actually way smoother than I expected, especially since we had family and friends handling everything while we were still at my dad's funeral service. By the time we arrived, so much was already done, and the space made it easy for everyone to jump in and help without things getting crowded or confusing. The layout worked really well for decorations, food, and seating, and nothing felt rushed or disorganized. It helped take a lot of pressure off us during a really emotional day. During the reception, everything just flowed naturally and felt really comfortable. We had music, food, and performances, and the space handled all of it without any issues. People were able to move around, talk, and just be together while still honoring my dad in a meaningful way. It didn't feel chaotic at all, which made a big difference. On top of all that, the value for what you get is honestly really solid. For the size of the space and how much it can handle, it felt worth it and not overpriced compared to other places. Being able to host a large, meaningful event without feeling limited or stressed made it even more worth it for us. Overall, I'm really thankful we chose this venue and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning something important.

So our wedding was a 5/5 experience but management is definitely old school and could use a lot of work. There is no texting, only a landline, and an email to work with. Good luck reaching anyone via email. To have a 6 hour wedding with 50 people, it costs roughly 10k for the space (about average when you factor in lighting, furniture and seating at other venues) but you have to pay for you own prep time. Only an hour is complimentary, so if you want to add any personal touches at all you basically need to pay for that time. Considering you're paying 10k, the fact that one is not allowed to leave decor at the venue is super unreasonable. There was no event going on the day prior except for our own rehearsal. So we were to bring everything we could on our own day of, and beg our wedding planner to help. They claimed it was for "liability purpose" yet I was allowed to leave my dress grossing 2800 at the venue and not my $10 box of flowers... and the lightning that was already hanging cost $750 to allegedly rehang. Who knows why that needed $750. There were claims that there was not enough space to leave any belongings or purchase enough chairs for my guests, but from what I can see it's just badly organized. There's a massive stack of CDs in front of the bridal room coated with so much dust you can barely read the titles. There's all kinds of knick knacks everywhere by the piano. The dust in the bridal room is bore line scary when you look closely, the chandelier had dead flowers and cobwebs. The frames are coated with dust. Again, the wedding itself was beautiful but for 10k you'd think someone could be paid $200 to come in there to clean. I sincerely have no idea what my 10k went towards since the Morgage on the house is non existent according to Zillow. Emails were rarely answered in a timely manner, which is tough if you're a bride organizing almost everything. and their sweet sweet dog who was advertised as a ring bearer apparently only performed this service one time prior and got side tracked and pulled my flower girl into the bushes. I love that kind of silliness and don't blame the dog one bit. But it certainly feels like false advertising to say that this dog is willing to do the service but come day of my planner told me of all the weddings she'd aided there, she's never seen it happen once. We had a great wedding, but it's massively overpriced for how little effort is going in on the home owner's end. A beautiful scam. 3 stars for my guest's wonderful experience but not to my own chaotic one.
