I look forward to my hair appointments here because I know they will work magic on my hair and listen to everything I have to say about it. My stylist always asks all the right questions about my hair type, texture, and how I'm regularly taking care of it. She's knowledgeable about the science behind my hair as well, from growth to dryness to volume. She asks how I like to wear it and gives me tips to help me achieve what I want with my hair. Plus, the staff all seem to be friendly with each other and having fun, which always makes an environment feel more positive. I have nothing but good things to say about Gallery Salon and would happily recommend it for folks looking for a new salon.

It's lopsided, she didn't do a single thing I requested and charged me $30 she overcharged me. . She was sarcastic and petty, she kept telling me i had the coolest haircut. And she didn't let me see it before I left. I do understand why she bombed my head like this, I would call this butchered She knew what I wanted and just didn't want to do it for me. This is so disappointing, i loved the places now i am going back to Encore That older gentleman will do a better job.

He worked with me to come up with a great style and color. Even when I went PINK he did an amazing job! I LOVED! He's very easy to talk to and makes sitting in the chair a nice place to be so it's like visiting at a friends house, but now you get your hair done too! I'm spoiled and won't go to anyone else. I trust Gordon completely with my hair. The receptionist Alexis is so great too! Always greets me with a smile and calls me by my first name. I love her! The salon itself was nice and the staff seemed friendly. At first, everything seemed fine, and I clearly explained how I wanted my hair styled. I have a short bob that can be styled in a lot of different ways. When my stylist parted my hair down the middle, I got a little nervous but hoped it would turn out okay. The entire service was done with just a round brush and blow dryer. When she finished, I was honestly disappointed and told her so. The style made me feel like I looked like a little boy, and I said I could have achieved the same result myself at home. She responded by saying that's just how my hair responds, but I disagreed because I've had my hair styled many times before and know what it's capable of. (Basically I called BS) I even offered to show photos of previous blowouts I've loved. What I asked for was simple, some volume with a slightly sleek finish. I also mentioned that my hair can be parted in different ways. At one point she suggested curling it, but after later looking at the salon's website, I noticed they charge extra for flat iron or curling iron work, which may explain why it wasn't initially offered. To her credit, she did try to fix it, and it looked better, but overall I still wasn't very happy with the experience. I paid, tipped, and moved on, but for $45, I personally didn't feel it was worth it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

Ok I have NOT been to this location or at this business in like six years. They use to be over in…read morethe wedge on South. This place from what I can ascertain its appointment only. You do everything online including cancellation and etc. Don't both dm'ing them on social media to cancel it's ONLINE ONLY. You go online pick a date and see what dates are available and of course what services you want. You will put in your credit/debit card and they will take a deposit and the rest is paid after the service. When they check you out the remainder will be paid. They don't do cash payments. You are welcome to tip in cash but make sure you have exact change. I came here as the person I normally see I double booked myself and she had no appointments available anytime this month (June 2024) so I decided to try this place again. If you want a place to roll into I can recommend a place but most spots now want an appointment. They are on the first floor as I think other businesses are here as well. The inside is light and bright, light woods and comfortable seating. I was greeted and asked to wash my hands.. ok I did not get that as I was here for a pedicure.. so... Also I was offered a drink, water, coffee, wine a nice touch. Now the set up for the pedicure was nice but I wished I could have moved back the chair, I had a pillow behind me but I got rid of it but I was comfortable but it was just wonky. I'm tall and usually they will adjust how you sit. This is minor but if you're tall ask if the chair can be adjusted. My nail tech Maddy Elizabeth was lovely, friendly and efficient. I picked out a color they have a bunch and if you want a gel type it's an additional cost. I got a more souped up pedicure with warm stones and a mask. The execution of the pedicure was great but the additional stuff did not seem too luxurious. The clay mask she almost forgot about than she put on warm towels and use also used warm stones. This was a nice touch but maybe I expected a bit more for $75.00. Oh well that's just me... When you are done you go into the back room and you dry your feet/hands for a bit. My feet I had a fan to dry my feet, not a big deal but it was odd... I think most are use to a light source or someone uses a quick dry. I think since they are all about 7 to 11 free nail items. While I was waiting I was offered a glass of rose if I wanted. The check out was easy and they did ask if I wanted another appointment. I said no but thank you. I'll keep them in mind when I can't get in with my regular person. From what I understand they are opening another location in Monroe in Brighton. This location from what I was told will get a refresh. All in all it was a lovely experience and a great pedicure. They share a parking lot and they ha e specific spaces for the business a plus. 4.5 out of 5

Not only bad, but as bad as it gets. These photos are not weeks (or even days) after the…read moreappointment, they're from less than an hour later. Cracks, peeling, bubbles, chips, blood. When I asked for a refund (on the same day as service) my requests were ignored until several days later, and then denied. "We need to pay our employees a living wage." By screwing your customers? Not to mention the damage done to my cuticles, which were left peeling and bleeding. Apparently, this was somehow my fault, per the response I received from the salon. I don't know if every manicurist there is terrible or not (this was my first and last visit), but to call what I received a 'professional manicure' is an insult to actual professional manicurists. Don't take my word for it, the photos speak for themselves.
