I was advised that Danielle was the correct stylist to work with my hair. She took the time to ask several questions to get an idea of what I wanted, and even showed me some pics on her cell phone for reference. Once we were in agreement, Danielle skillfully restyled my hair into a more updated, easy to care for look. I left there with a big grin on my face, very happy with the haircut. I WILL be back in a couple of months for another haircut with Danielle and tweak the hair lengths as my hair gets used to freedom from barrettes and bands. The salon is well appointed with plenty of chairs, the atmosphere here is easy going and relaxing. Prices seem reasonable for services rendered. I would recommend Danielle and Shear Shack highly.

Last Wednesday, I walked in for my first haircut in 3 months. I talked too much (I do that when I'm nervous) and she politely listened to it all and explained how she works. And by some magnificent miracle, it worked. =) I'm very happy with my hair (and beard) cut and will be scheduling my second appointment soon. Thank you, Melissa (and Jared, for the therapeutic beer). I went for a massage tonight which ended at 5:30 and I didn't leave the place till 6pm because it took 30 minutes to check me out. The front desk person couldn't figure out how my 9000 + points (which would equal to an hour of free hot stone massage) suddenly disappeared and I stood there as she tried to redo the whole transaction and I still left without it being fixed. Supposedly a manager will call me to fix it. We'll see about that. Also, I was given the runaround around canceling my membership and neither of the two people working at the front desk could give me a straight answer when I asked when the last payment would be. It sucks because this used to be a great place with great customer service, but sadly it has become horrible and all the good massage therapists are leaving. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
