I find it difficult to write bad reviews but after 24 hours I feel like it's safe to say this is one of the worst service experiences I've had at a salon. I originally just wanted my eyebrows waxed, she didn't ask what shape or how thin I wanted them, which made me nervous. She starts waxing and the wax is too hot so I already know I'm going to be swollen and burnt after. THEN she starts plucking huge chunks of eyebrow out and I wanted to cry. When I finally got to see what had happened I literally couldn't believe how awful they looked. She was a nice lady but Jeeze.....I wanted to look better not worse! I needed my nails done too and regret allowing her after the eyebrows. She cut my finger with the cuticle clippers pretty badly. I'm going to have to fill my eyebrows in for a month or two and am slightly traumatized by the whole thing. Probably won't be getting waxed for a long time!

My niece and I came on NYE. We were visiting from Ohio. I called the day before and they were able to get us in next day together. Both our technicians were nice and polite. We were taken about 15mn after we arrived. There were many polish options and my pedicure was efficient and well done. Not many techs know how to deal with my big toe nails that grow inward. My niece was very happy with her full set. Highly recommend and we are avid nail clients!!!

Horrible experience and damaged cuticles! "Nail art" looks like it was done by a child and took 2 hours! They had to be soaked off so they could get them done elsewhere. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story of what she wanted vs. what she got.

My friend and I only see each other once a year so we booked pedicures at the same time here one a Wednesday afternoon to catch up. They sat us beside each other but did my friend's whole pedicure before starting mine and moved her to a different area to dry so that was a bit disappointing. Jackie and Jennifer are both very good and super friendly. They always do a great job. Biggest problem with the shop is they don't honor appointment times. My last appointment was at 11. They called me back at 11:17. This isn't the first time. The time before they seated me at a pedicure station with my feet in the water after my appointment time, but left me there to finish with someone else. I asked how long it would be, she said 10-15 minutes. I had a meeting that I would have been late for if I stayed so I left. read more

I only came here because I was given a gift certificate. I will never come back. From the time I parked to the time I got to the dryers after my pedicure, it was less than 30 minutes, and I had to take time to fill out my info and find a color. I'll take my money to my regular salon, Divine Nails. I just feel sorry my elderly neighbors gave their money to this place. read more

So I never write reviews but honestly thought it was necessary because I have not had a good experience there. My pedicure was fine and it turned out looking nice but not my manicure. My nail technician painted my nails while I was sitting in a chair waiting for my toes to dry. As a result it turned out extremely uneven and sloppy. Then I got my eyebrows waxed and I now have two huge red marks under my eye from my skin being ripped off. To top it all off my mom was charged for a manicure that she did not receive. Overall not the best experience and I won't be going back read more

If I could give it ZERO stars I would! My natural nails, and more importantly, my healthy cuticles were mutilated by the technician. How can you watch people come and go through the door, and pay attention at all to your client's hands! You can't! I left the salon before my manicure was done (but certainly after she demanded payment from me!) with a bleeding cuticle that she cut to the quick! I've been fighting an infection in that cuticle now, and trying to grow back the healthy skin and nails she botched! No kidding. Don't go! read more

Although it was super busy, they treated us like we were the only customers when they got to the three of us. Very thoughtful and gentle to mother- 88yo. The atmosphere at the salon was crazy friendly as everyone seemed to interact with laughter and a fun time. The cost was quite reasonable for the time they spent for each of us with gel nails for 2 and mani/pedi without polish for mother was less than $150. We will definitely be going back, but will plan a weekday and not a Saturday! read more

Not the place for nail art. Got a pedicure and gel manicure. Foot massage was terrible, she was basically just scratching the bottoms of my feet with her nails, it was uncomfortable. Pedicure was incomplete and had to ask for more polish. For the gel manicure she said she could do nail art but gave me something very far from what I showed her. Gel manicure was chipping off within 3 days (they are supposed to last 2 weeks), and all 10 nails were lifting off within 1 week. Pedicure also easily chipped off within a few days. Will not be going back. read more

This location had mixed reviews on Yelp, but of the three closest to me, it was the highest-rated, so I chose to go there. I was very impressed with their Covid safety procedures. Upon arrival they took my temperature and asked me to fill out a health info form. They had plexiglass barriers between customer and tech at both the pedicure and manicure stations. The techs wore masks and gloves. They had disposable liners in the pedicure tubs, and the pedicure scrub/mask/lotion was in its own sealed, disposable container. The staff was very friendly and I was happy with my services. Everything was also very clean. I was visiting from out of town, but if I return I would definitely come back here for another mani/pedi! read more

Today, 3/8/23 my son and I went on a whim to get pedicures. He doesn't norm go. He's 25, but I talked him into it. LOL This was the NICEST Salon. The people were so friendly and welcoming. Very clean BEST pedicure ever. I have trouble with ingrowns. They automatically checked and took care of them. Best of all NO PAIN!!! And let me mention that the best part was the long massage and extremely GREAT rates. Only $35 bucks each. And they took their time. I'll be going back every time I'm in Asheville! Which is once a month. I'll get pictures next time. Thank you so much for a great experience. read more

I rarely give a 5 star in my reviews but when I love the service I do business with, I am very generous. The staffs are very friendly and they really make you feel like you are a VIP in there. Plus the fact that the price is very affordable and well within my budget. The place is very clean which I feel very important since good sanitation is a must when dealing with this kind of stuffs. If done haphazardly, you don't know what disease you might get from there when it involves sharp objects. read more

I had the most amazing experience at Asheville nails. I have been looking for a nail salon for several years now that I enjoy going to, that makes me feel welcome and actually knows what I want. Jennifer did an amazing job on both my pedicure and full set. We talked and laughed and enjoyed our time. I will never go to another nail salon again. I have found my home. I am unfortunately writing a very negative review because a friend of mine (a transgender woman) was denied service. I find it Appalling that anyone, let a person of a minority who is exposed to prejudice daily, would treat someone as disgusting as this. Shame on you!!! I hope that everyone that believes in equality chooses to give their business to a more worthy salon. Oh and FYI lgbqt money is still green. read more

I moved to Asheville about 1 month ago, and used Yelp to find a salon with good reviews. Jackie did my pedicure and manicure with dip powder. Today was my second visit, and couldn't be happier. She is working out previous damage done to my nails, and they came out great both times. Everyone in salon is super friendly too. I got really lucky finding a good place on my first try!! read more

I didn't have time for a full pedicure, just a polish change. Next time, I will make time. They did a great job, and even recommended a super cute nail polish outside of what I normally go for. Very friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. The prices don't seem too bad either. I will definitely return. read more

I've always enjoyed the staff there. They have always been super nice and kind! I can see how some manicures could be rushed when they are busy but Ive usually been happy with my pedicure and powder dip when they aren't super busy. I really like this place! It's definitely my go too! read more
