That is exactly what I have found in all the professionals who work at Dr. Melanie Vallejos' dental offices. For the past 19 years, I have seen Nora for my dental hygiene and periodic cleanings. Nora is THE BEST. She is delightful to know as a person and she takes great care of my teeth. She really knows her stuff and always does a thorough job cleaning my teeth and letting me know how I can improve my dental health. Because Nora does such a great job taking care of my cleanings, I rarely need to have cavities filled, or any complicated dental work done by Dr. Vallejos. But on those occasions that I have needed dental work from the doctor, I will say that I actually have enjoyed it. Melanie is always careful to make sure she is not causing me any discomfort. Just sitting there in the chair and watching her and Mara work on my teeth is like watching a master watchmaker and her apprentice build a watch. They are so precise and compassionate in the work they do. I always feel confident that my teeth are being given the very best dental care possible. I am sure, like everyone that Melanie, Nora and Mara have days when they feel down and things are not going their way, but you would never know it from how delightful they are when you come to their offices. Wow, I found a dentist that is not only kind, attentive and a professional, Dr. Vallejos is also an expert in TMD (TMJ). I have severe TMD, the kind that causes swelling and awful pain when the jaw is irritated, so seeing a new dentist is always a stressful. Not the case with Dr. Vallejos. She was so thoughtful and careful during the exam, ensuring I not open to wide so I wouldn't irritate my jaw. She suggested some very simple jaw stretches to do and even shared some interesting facts about TMD that I didn't know. Her staff are also very warm and friendly. All the staff employees are so kind, I felt right at home. Dentist offices can be stressful but I was put to ease with not only the friendly staff but clean office, comfy massage chair, tv and sometimes a very sweet dog was there to sit in my lap. I went to Melanie because I had TMJ and could barely lift my chin to look up without having sever pain. With her Hi tech equipment she was able to quickly figure out what I needed. The dental hygenists and staff are very nice people. Melanie is as greedy as they can be. She makes you feel like the service she's recommending is imperative and will drain your wallet dry. I've had to go to several dentists and even a surgeon to correct the shoddy work she did.
