They have a small and large size for pretty much everything and we got the large for entrees and the soup as well. One other thing I specifically noticed in general was that everything tasted like a distinct dish instead of everything kind of tasting the same, like I feel is sometimes the case at similar places. Don't let the unassuming outside fool you! We started off with the Saigon Sampler which had a little bit of everything including spring rolls, seaweed/octopus salad, eggrolls, and other things I can't remember. It was all delish. I ordered the French diced steak which came with a cup of soup and rice. The cubed rib eye was tender and cooked in some kind of French butter. Its aroma and taste was to die for! I had a bite of my fiance's vermicelli noodle bowl, which the owner recommended as one of the most popular dishes. It had grilled meat on top of noodles, lettuce, pickled carrots, and cucumbers. It tasted great drowned in fish sauce that comes on the side. It was a very light and refreshing dish, but definitely filled you up. For dessert, we ordred the Napoleon....OMG so good and so cheap! It tasted like light vanilla cream smothered between flakey pastry layers. Pure heaven! read more

We arrived around 4pm and, to my surprise, there was plenty of seating available. We were sat by the host and our server came shortly after. I can't recall her name but she did have great suggestions and delivered quality service. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken (reg) while my friend ordered the Sweet & Sour (sm.). The meal arrived in almost record time! I was delighted to look at our colorful, carefully assembled, plates. My meal had a considerable serving size and an even better taste. The chicken was soft, tender and juicy. With compliments from the peppers & rice, I couldn't have been more satisfied. My friend (who is picky) wasn't a fan of the mix of peppers & pineapple but I think she liked it more than she cared to admit. Overall, I had the most pleasant afternoon at Roka thanks to the everpleasing service and most tranquil of settings.
