There's lots of sushi in the valley but not lots of QUALITY fish. This place has the quality I look for when it comes to sushi. Fresh, flavorful, tasty slices of fish on top of good sushi rice. The yellowtail was my favorite but the salmon and toro were good too. I got the "mekishiko roll" and it was spicy as hell. Be warned! This roll is for people who LOVE spice, not just like it or can tolerate it. Service was very friendly.

All I have to say is... AMAZING! We ate on the Chiguacle Sabor Ancestral side but ordered from both kitchens. Service is great. Wasn't my first time here, however my first time trying their sushi, and oh my !! Whoever came up with these signature rolls did an amazing job of combining flavors from Mexico & sushi. Very fresh! My son loved the Crunchy tempura roll & my husband and I had MEKISHIKO ROLL, SINALOA ROLL, spicy yellowtail roll & MAZATLAN ROLL. 10/10

With my husband not liking sushi or Asian cuisine, this place is perfect for us! I get to have what I like and so does he. The food was absolutely amazing, so flavorful and tasty. The miso soup can use some help with a bit more flavor but the soy sauce helped me out. The Edemame by far the best flavor I have tasted anywhere. Great service and everyone is very kind. The place is always clean and is a comfortable place to enjoy a peaceful meal alone or with company. I recommend this place 100%

Chiba absolutely remains a 5/5 for my family and I! We once again came by without a reservation,…read morethis time on a Friday night. We totally thought we'd have to wait but were able to be seated immediately. We also learned this time that while the parking lot remains ultra packed, there is a large outdoor parking lot the side street over for the businesses there that are closed at night (minus the gym) so I think its fine to park there. Spicy Tuna Okoge 5/5, we came for this and this is what I titled "Crunchy rice spicy tuna appetizer" in my last review, pasted here: very fun, comes cut into 4 pieces, definitely a fun appetizer, our waitress recommended this and said it's one of their more popular items Spicy Salmon cut roll 5/5, mildly spicy but leaves you with a stronger spicy aftertaste, soft and very fresh! We would reorder this! Scallop cut roll 3.5/5, fresh but just felt like it was missing something. I think the scallops need more than just a rice wrap. This was improved with soy sauce I think in the future we'd stick to ordering scallops in a more special roll

I honestly can't say enough amazing things about Chiba - it's been one of my favorite restaurant…read morespots since 2008 when I was first introduced to it through a close friend whose dad used to go to the OG location back in the day. To this day, whenever he's in town, I'm there with them, sitting at the bar. The food here is made with love and every item on the menu feels incredibly authentic and flavorful. From sashimi to rolls to the hot dishes, it's all an experience. One of our favorites is the Salmon Toro with Black Caviar- rich, buttery salmon topped with caviar that just elevates the bite. We also love the snapper, uni, oyster uni shooters, soft shell crab hand rolls, and the spicy tuna on crispy rice- honestly, every menu item we've tried has been incredible. And the sweet shrimp (amaebi) is a must. They serve it beautifully fresh and then tempura-batter the shrimp heads so you get that crispy, savory crunch after the delicate sweetness of the shrimp. It's one of those details that makes Chiba so special. Chiba doesn't just serve food, it serves memories. It's fresh, soulful, and just downright delicious. If you love real, honest Japanese flavor, this place should absolutely be on your list.

I also don't have time to be writing reviews these days. I hope that sets the stage for the weight of the words I am about to say to you So yeah.. sincerely was not expecting much walking into Shiso Sushi. In fact, from the outside, this place honestly looks kinda closed down? Scratched, tinted windows, maybe some graffiti, barely any sign of life except for a faint "OPEN" sign doing its best. I swear I *almost* turned around and went home. Inside doesn't change that first impression tbh. No presentation to the menu design, dated decor, very old school neighborhood sushi joint energy. Then the food hits The fish quality is legit. Clean, fresh, and clearly coming from a strong supplier. The preparation is thoughtful and balanced. This is the kind of place where the food completely outperforms the room. (Only real knock: the rice. It's a bit dense / tightly packed. Missing that airy, delicate texture you'd expect from top tier sushi in Japan) Service was attentive and warm throughout. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem trapped in the wrong wrapper. With a proper redesign makeover... branding, exterior, interior, menu... it could easily punch way above its weight. Until then, just trust the fish 彡

I ordered the Shiso Tempura Roll, which I was expecting a normal roll. Instead the presentation of the plate was spreading out each slide of the roll. For $14 it's not too bad, most specialty rolls would cost significantly more at other sushi places so cost wise this was a pretty good value.

Dinner AYCE is $35 and if you're willing to compromise a TAD on quality (which makes sense at the price point), then this is your place. I have got to say, we ordered the chicken ramen, and so glad we did! Normally, I wouldn't order that at an AYCE place, but I was curious. It's one of the best ramens I've had. The rolls are filled, the sashimi slices are huge so take that into considering when ordering. The baked mussels are a favorite here! For apps, we always have to order the spicy edamame, shishito peppers, crispy rice with tuna. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Lots of parking in the lot. We will always be back here!

The entire menu is on the screen, and you order, and they bring it to you. You also order your drinks and can call your waiter from the tablet. I ordered the teriyaki chicken; the bowl was huge, and it cost about 14 dollars. I thought the portion was great, and I got free miso soup to go along with it, so it was a lot of food. However, I did not think the food was too great. For such a big bowl they put very little sauce, and to top it off, the chicken is dry, so I needed to add a lot of soy sauce and extra teriyaki sauce, which I had to request in order to be able to eat it. I've had better teriyaki chicken from Yoshinoya, unfortunately. The service was great; I got serviced quickly after calling for a server on the tablet, but I also felt she was annoyed on my visit because she looked irritated, and it made me feel slightly unwelcome. I say I would love to return to try the sushi, as they have all you can eat sushi for 30 at lunchtime, but I may take some time to actually try it out after this experience.
