Vegan Panang Curry with veggies AND tofu
    Anthony S.

I like that they have a vegan menu. I ate inside the restaurant and ordered a Jamaica drink, green papaya salad (from the regular menu but they made it vegan by leaving out the fish sauce), and the vegan Thai fried rice with tofu which was a big portion. Went back again and got vegan panang curry with veggies AND tofu. Everything was very good. Will definitely be back to try more items. Also, there was plenty of parking, the restaurant looked very clean, friendly service, and I liked the classic rock music playing.

Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. More like Kung Pao Onion! The little chicken that was in there was bland. Portions look big but it was all onion. Fried rice was ok but have had better. Nothing special ok for the price. Definitely better options 5 min away.

Spicy Fried Rice & Crying Tiger Special! Both a great combo together!

I ordered online last minute for a late dinner, I couldn't decide what I wanted so I looked at the yelp for recommendations. After carefully looking through, I ordered the following below & yes, it's a lot for two but we wanted to test them out! - Spicy Thai fried rice - Chicken Pad Thai - Crying Tiger Special - Teriyaki Chicken - Red Curry The spicy Thai rice was good, the chicken was slightly undercooked so you may want to request it "well done." I tried the crying tiger special with the rice and it complimented each other. It also came with a spicy vinaigrette to dip which was tangy & salty. The teriyaki chicken was my favorite because it was full of flavor, it had the right amount of sauce, and the chicken was prepared just how I like it. The red curry was great, it had the right amount of spice and the bamboo shoot gave it a nice crunch. All together, everything was good I would come back but maybe this time around I'll make adjustments based on my likings. Also, I'd probably order more apps to try especially their satay chicken, spring rolls, and their cream cheese wontons. I'd definitely recommend for a Friday night take out dinner, prices are also reasonable!

    Cashew Nut Lunch with chicken

Honestly I had written this place off about a year ago. I had a bad experience with a few lunch special orders and vowed to never return. A good friend went back and said it was FIRE! So I gave it another shot and man was I j pressed. Such a difference in quality and flavor. I had the cashew chicken lunch special and opted to dine in. Super fresh crisp veggies and the sauce was light and flavorful.

Food is okay. I dont feel like its the most authentic Thai food I could get. Its more on the bland side and the spice level is not accurate. I got a medium spice papaya salad and i taste no spice. I ordered take out so i couldnt do much about it, but this place wouldnt be my first choice if I want the authentic thai food. Disappointed.

It was my first time here, so I opted to go for their lunch menu. Most lunch menus or lunch specials tend to not be filling but their portion was very generous. The food itself was really tasty and the service was absolutely amazing. I was surprised it was a bit empty in the restaurant, but the to go orders were pilling up on the cashier. Even though he was very busy packing up the to go orders, he was quick to acknowledge and help me. So they must be doing something right with that many orders to go. My food came out within minutes, to me that's a win! Who wants to waste their lunch on waiting for food? No one! The only TINY negative thing I will say, I was expecting more from the fried rice. I was expecting it to be mixed with veggies and/or eggs as I'm normally accustomed to fried rice. However it was still very flavorful. Will I order again, YES! But this time something spicy! A solid 9.5/10! Cashew Nuts with Beef

    Garlic tofu lunch special

Not sure what is going on. There are zero people in the restaurant except for me and my daughter, and we have waited over 30 minutes, no food yet. The 1986 song "Lady in Red" is playing over and over; we are on the ninth time, it's really weird. Two people have come in for to-go orders, so they must have food in the back somewhere. I thought this would be a good quick stop for lunch with my 2-year-old (who is being really, really patient), but I thought wrong. Yay! The food is here and smells and looks good ... excellent, the garlic tofu and rice are good! I'm going to eat this now, as the tenth playing of Lady in Red begins ...

Anyway, went…read moreto Cabo a couple weeks ago and the tour guide recommended a Mariscos restaurant right next to the beach. I thought nothing of it as I've been to many other type of restaurants here in LA. All restaurants are the same, blah blah. I was completely blown away by the aguachile and I knew I needed to find something similar here. I loved it at Cabo because, the shrimp was 'raw' marinated with lime but still 'raw' I tried Vallarta and it was a huge disappointment. One day doom scrolling on Yelp and I found this place. Couldn't wait, had to give it a try and I nearly cried. Whenever food tastes amazing, I always clap because I'm applauding the chef. I'm applauding the food and I couldn't clap this time because I didn't want to put down the food. I got the medium sized aguachile, a pescado taco and a camaron taco. The flavor in the shrimp taco was unbelievable. The batter was so soft yet, crispy and the cabbage with the dressing was spot on! Next time, I'm definitely ordering 2 of each. The fish taco was super flaky, seasoned. Amazing. The aguachile, I regret getting the medium, I should've went all the way to large. Extra large if I could. Don't get me wrong, the portions are huge. I'm by myself and I made the aguachile last for 3 days. I would've eaten it in one sitting but, I have jaw issues and I couldn't continue. The tostadas they provided was amazing. I'm said there was no avocado but, luckily I had some at home. Even tho the shrimp was raw, it was juicy and delicious. The service was amazing as well. Workers inside the truck were so nice, offered a chair under a tree because it was sprinkling lightly lol. Anyways, I'm gonna go back this week and next week cause I can't stop thinking about it. Take it from this gringo, this is some good stuff!!

Micheladas on another level at that. It's a small place, somewhat hidden but they have their own parking lot. A few tables inside & 3 tables outside. The menu consists of ceviche, campechanas, shrimp/fish tacos & a few other seafood dishes. I must say the star of the show is their fried shrimp taco (crunchy af = heaven). You get 2 per order & is served with rice & a small salad. They also give you a green salsa for your tacos but pour it over your rice for extra bangin rice! The grilled shrimp tacos come 3 per order with no sides. Order at the register & they will bring it out to you in to-go boxes. So don't jump to conclusions that they don't want you there when you get a to-go box, I mean unless you mobbed up with 4 thieves of joy you call bundles of joy running amok then perhaps it was a hint on behalf of allllll of us. The reviews were good and the place was close by so we decided to give it a shot. Parking is no problem as it shares the same lot as the swap meet. But dont let the outside fool you, this place is top notch. Amy was our server and bear in mind we had a group of 15 peeps so handling all our drink orders and other things was quite a feat. Which she handled awesomely, she refilled our drinks and even provided me a lighter and knife for the cake we brought. She was very friendly and we were glad to have her as our server. Now on to the food, they have a wonderful selection here, you got all types of chicken, im talking about orange, teriyaki, and bbq. They got sushi and sashimi, they got crab legs galore and lobster as well. U got shumai, egg rolls, and tempura shrimp. Pizza, garlic bread, I meant to take pics of it all but was too bz chowing down lol. But honestly everything was fresh and the place had ample room for our large group. Heck they got their own boba AND coffee self serve stations, it doesnt get better than that. And a chocolate fountain to boot! I wasn't aware the Restaurant in LA charge a 10% service fee when I saw it on the bill I immediately was going to question it however, I googled first and basically the restaurants have to post it before charging you. When we walked in we didn't notice the signs on the wall if you don't pay attention you will miss the notice as you walk in. The 10% is to help the owner offset gratuity and healthcare for the employees so you have no choice but to pay it even if you didn't see the posting on the wall. They also have a sign to say a tip is not required because of the service fee.
