I stopped by Thai Pepper for dinner to avoid traffic. They are located in a small plaza with ample parking. The windows are barricaded, so I did exercise some caution entering. At the time, there was only one other party and no one greeting. Eventually, a server came to take my order, and I had the chicken curry combo. Despite trying to order this, I kept being brought back to the appetizers, and I think he was trying to get me to order the combo items separately (versus as a set) to make an extra dime, but I really couldn't have eaten that much in a meal. The taste of the curry was acceptable; the chicken curry was sweet. Both the chicken in the chicken curry and the chicken sa-te was very dry. At one point, it resembled overcooked an dry, tough fish. The brown (peanut?) sauce to dip the chicken sa-te was probably the best part of the meal, even better than the rice. While I wanted a Thai Tea, they were all pre-made, and there was no option to adjust the sugar level. Given these experiences, I'm not sure if I'd return again in the future. read more

I like that they have a vegan menu. I ate inside the restaurant and ordered a Jamaica drink, green papaya salad (from the regular menu but they made it vegan by leaving out the fish sauce), and the vegan Thai fried rice with tofu which was a big portion. Went back again and got vegan panang curry with veggies AND tofu. Everything was very good. Will definitely be back to try more items. The teriyaki chicken was my favorite because it was full of flavor, it had the right amount of sauce, and the chicken was prepared just how I like it. The red curry was great, it had the right amount of spice and the bamboo shoot gave it a nice crunch. All together, everything was good I would come back but maybe this time around I'll make adjustments based on my likings. I've been looking for a good thai place to replace my favorite one since I moved and was pretty hopeful about this establishment since the reviews were looking good. I ordered a vegetable soup and a yellow curry for delivery. First, the vegetable soup was pretty good according to my partner. It started to disappointment me when I took the curry out of the bag. It was significantly smaller than the soup but costed more. Then I started to try it and the flavor was good but not only was half the already small container just onions, which was too much even for my partner who loves onions, but the potatoes were undercooked and it wasn't spicy at all when I had ordered a medium spice level. I'm giving it two stars because the food didn't taste bad but it wasn't a great experience compared to other places I've tried in the area in my search for a new favorite. read more

This is the Thai place I come to when I feel like ordering take out. Since I've been coming here for a few years now I've had a lot of items off the menu. That being said for entrees I would highly recommend the spicy chicken & mint leaves (we usually go for mild since the spice is just right) and the chicken pad see-ew. For the rice we stick to the traditional chicken fried rice and an occasional pineapple fried rice when I feel like changing it up a bit. As far as the appetizers I have recently become addicted to their spring rolls which have chicken, mushrooms, and clear noodles. They're bite sized but come with a lot. Not to forget the chicken sa-te's which are a must for my family. Overall it's a pretty good hole in the wall type of restaurant. I've never actually sat and dined in so I would say their service is fast as far as how my food is always ready by the time I pick it up. Decent prices, would recommend. read more
