I did go to campus for somethings, but compared to my colleagues in those year round enrollment schools with no contact with other cohort members, I know that I got a great deal. My program was 100% online. I have a two cohorts that I worked with and they welcomed me. I do feel supported and now that I'm no longer in class and working full time I have time to get to some long over due reviews. I do appreciate everything! The teachers were helpful. The help I got through SCAA was also helpful. I loved the library, but wish they were open later. There is a space that's open later but I had an issue with them and stopped going. I felt supported as I went through the program and now that I'm on the other side and have my life back, I am eternally grateful!

Getting to and from here was very convenient for her, taking Bart and the shuttle taking you up the hill and back. The graduation ceremony was great, good weather, easy parking, and we got here early to get some good seats. My experience here during her graduation and throughout the years have been very good!!!

Most of the staff seemed nice, except for this one white lady in the assessment center. I believe she was in charge of scheduling appointments for the Counseling and Registration Sessions for students. Either way, she seemed intimidating and impatient. When she asked me if a certain date would work, I told her "probably". Although she had a point that "probably" doesn't work and that its either yes or no, she was less then polite when explaining that to me and demanded that I either answer yes or no ("..so do you want it or not!?"). After I finally scheduled my appointment, I thanked her and she said "you're welcome", although it really didn't sound like she meant it. My second experience was a few weeks later when I came back for the CAR session. Fortunately, this time, I had a much better experience. The counselors were really nice and humorous. If asked if I would recommend this place, I would say probably. (No pun intended, and "probably" in this case is a legitimate answer!) I most certainly started off with a bad impression about Chabot, but luckily it improved on my second visit. Most of the people there are nice, but you should also get thick skin as there are some that aren't as nice.

Hello, Thank you…read morefor taking the time to read my email, I began the process of bettering my life and my career in August of 2022 when I reached out to Unitek to begin evening LVN classes. I spoke with Jeremiah and many other staff members during my interview process, and was asked extremely personal questions regarding my circumstances to ensure I was the student Unitek desired - little did I know, my disclosures on scheduling preferences and my single parenthood would be used to ensure you all took advantage of me and got money out of my pocket ensuring you would have not keep up your end of the student contract. I was clear from the beginning of my initiation, I work full time and have a daughter - every one I talked to ensured I would get into a night class within a year and that I needed to enroll in the prerequisite class immediately to not lose my spot. In doing this, and trusting you all I emptied my savings account with the hope of a bright future for my daughter and myself. I finished the prerequisite class at the TOP of the class - excited for the next steps, I called/texted Jeremiah. He called me a few days after completion of the prerequisite course welcoming me into the LVN next class, which was a full time day class - I was confused. I was so clear on my availability , and was PROMISED I would have access to a class in the evening within the year of the prereq course. During this phone conversation, Jeremiah stated there would be a class in December. December came and went, and I followed up - I was told there was a postponed class for June. Here we are. You promise classes, take people's hard earned money banking that they never get to the next step, without any care in the world. I am requesting a full refund as YOU are unable to keep your end of the contract. Please contact me with any questions. Regards,

All the instructors…read morewere really nice, easy to work with, and were really there to ensure that each student understood the materials being taught. I was in the mid-day slot (11-2ish) which was great because it gave me enough time to prepare for exam, if needed. I loved that our program was small so I felt that each of us got the attention we needed; however, do keep in mind that all programs are different. I am giving it 4 stars because of the fact I had to take some general classes even though I graduated with a BA. Some of the classes they have you take as "additional" classes felt like it was only for the money even though I took the class as an undergraduate in a different school.

Coming from a top 5 public university for undergraduate, I had my reservations about pursuing my…read morestatistics M.S. at CSUEB due to the fact that I had previously heard very little about the program. Fast forward to now, I could not be more proud of my choice to attend. The following are the noteworthy strengths of the master's program: - Multitude of concentrations to choose from: check their website for details of all concentrations, but the newly created Data Science concentration is rare among CA public schools, and it gears students for work in one of the most in-demand jobs in the area. Additionally, the Biostatistics track is very esteemed and has placed many alumni in commendable firms & agencies in the area. - Faculty attentiveness: Despite ample research opportunities for those who seek it out, the program is professionally-oriented--- not research-oriented. The beauty of this is professors focusing on their students' learning, NOT their publication count. Emails were responded to promptly. Each professor was glad to make time to meet outside of office hours to meet student needs. Relatively small class sizes too. - Evening class options: All core courses [and many electives] had an evening option, allowing full-time working students the ability to navigate through the degree. - Diversity: many CA schools boast about their diverse student body. CSUEB is *truly* diverse. Many students from all walks of life and academic backgrounds. Huge plus. - Cost: One of the most affordable master's in statistics you can find on the west coast. Tuition = under $7500/year at the time of this review. - Location: Located centrally in the Bay area, there is no better location for an aspiring data scientist or statistician. Internships in the area are quite attainable for students due to this reason.

Me and another lady were put for externship 1 hour away even though we lived close to Hayward. I ended up passing my test but they don't even help you try and find a job afterwards. They don't send emails about job openings or places looking for hires NOTHING. To me, this program feels very halfway and like it was just a quick money grab. Although the people training us on site were great, the owner is very snappy and annoying. She hounded ppl for their last payment even before the externship. It was honestly a horrible experience going through training during the pandemic. I still haven't been able to get employment anywhere! Which means I haven't had any CEU credits. The manager at our externship site sucked!! He basically used us for the free labor with no intentions on offering us a position even though we worked really hard and took initiative. They sold us this false hope of being hired then towards the end we realized a little discrimination going on at the site. All and all I would NOT recommend coming to this program. Like I said before I believe it's a money grab and Marisel has no intentions on helping you once you're done and she collects your money. She gives these long POINTLESS speeches about it being your job to find work blah blah when in reality you took our money, you should at least place us in a decent externship where we have a chance.
