Have been going to the university for 2 years. Have had mostly good experiences…read more Biggest issues I have with current campus are 1. No Physical Library on campus. 2. Rooms 2113A and 2113B are set up in a way that if you have an afternoon/evening class the sun flares on the screen where professor may be trying to show slides and if you have laptop for class the sun glares off even if the "shades" are down. And then professor is stuck staring into the sun for several hours until the sun finally sets. Have a few class mates that can't come to class because it causes their migraines to flare. Was told there is nothing that they can do to fix this issue so if you have migraines then I'm sorry if you get these two class rooms in the afternoon/evening. As for the professors I have had good experiences with my in class professors and most of my online professors. Have only had a few sour apples that just show up to get paid or push the homework. But overall I have had a good experience so far.

For ex: nice swivel office chairs for students, white boards in all the classrooms, and overall has a nice modern look to it. Also the moving solar panels are awesome!

I always went to the library there, students have some personal space and aren't crowded together like at main campus. If you call the # of the library, you can reserve a room to get your work done. They have a career center where they give mock interviews, comes in handy since I also utilized it for resume help. Inside there is a small room where students can play pool, watch TV, or play piano to kill some time. Parking is not a problem and I always prefer the space on the right of the campus. If you want some fresh air, you can take a walk around campus. The food at Newark is ok, but I highly recommend to drive to "The Block," which is the Fremont shopping district. You could buy from Costco, Panda Express, or even Wendy's besides the overpriced food. For students or future students reading this, try to take all of your classes here! No need to walk all the way up the hill like the main campus. All of the classes are next to each other with lots of places to study or relax. Every now and then they hold events like a Career fair or UC/CSU workshops, those are very useful and I recommend attending those. There is nothing wrong with attending a community classes, classes are cheaper and you get to redeem yourself from any mistakes of the past.

Ms. Didi was the instructor for this program and she truly cares about her students. The program was 21 days and may seem long initially, but it flies by quickly. I met some wonderful classmates along the way and had an overall fantastic experience! Ms. Didi, Mr. Dell, and Dr. Marilyn are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly dedicated to student success. The program offers a great mix of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, with small class sizes that allow for personalized instruction. The clinical rotations provided invaluable real-world experience, and the staff was supportive every step of the way. I highly recommend this program to anyone serious about becoming a CNA or looking to gain experience prior to nursing/medical school. It's a rewarding experience that prepares you for the healthcare field. Thank you again, Ms. Didi for a wonderful learning experience!

I'm giving this place 1 star because the environment is not clean, hygienic, or comfortable for…read morestudents. One of my biggest concerns is there is no access to drinking water. Students are not provided access to a drinking fountain like you would normally expect at a school. The drinking fountain has been blocked off and students are not allowed to use it. The water faucet in the break room is also blocked off. There is also no air conditioning in the classrooms. This makes the classrooms extremely uncomfortable especially because the rooms do not have windows that can be opened for ventilation. Having students spend hours in warm classrooms without easy access to drinking water raises serious concerns about dehydration and student well being and they don't care about it. The overall condition of the building is very poor. There is visible dirt and grime on the windows, ripped carpeting, and the break room is extremely dirty. The refrigerator is messy. The bathrooms are another major concern. They do not clean it daily and the trash piles up. With two classes using the facility at the same time the trash cans can become so full that used toilet paper and other trash end up on the floor. Students pay a significant amount of money to attend this program. At the very least they should be provided with a clean, sanitary, and comfortable learning environment with basic necessities such as access to drinking water, proper air conditioning, and regularly cleaned restrooms. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic accommodations for students is extremely concerning.

I did go to campus for somethings, but compared to my colleagues in those year round enrollment schools with no contact with other cohort members, I know that I got a great deal. My program was 100% online. I have a two cohorts that I worked with and they welcomed me. I do feel supported and now that I'm no longer in class and working full time I have time to get to some long over due reviews. I do appreciate everything! The teachers were helpful. The help I got through SCAA was also helpful. I loved the library, but wish they were open later. There is a space that's open later but I had an issue with them and stopped going. I felt supported as I went through the program and now that I'm on the other side and have my life back, I am eternally grateful!
