St. Clement School has been a positive experience overall. The school offers a supportive and welcoming environment where students are encouraged to grow academically and personally. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the students and work hard to create a sense of community. The smaller school setting allows students to receive more individual attention and build strong relationships with their classmates and teachers. Overall, St. Clement is a good choice for families looking for a faith-based education and a close-knit school community. read more

I am so grateful to the staff at Saint clement! My child was behind academically after the world exited the pandemic and the public school he was attending didn't see the issue with that. So after much searching, I found Saint Clement! They welcome not only my child but my whole family with open arms and agreed to help him with his academic journey. He is now caught up and making huge strides in school. read more

We've had such a wonderful experience at St. Clement. One of the things I truly appreciate is the strong foundation in Catholic teaching and the opportunity for students to attend church services regularly--it's been so meaningful for our family. The school's small community creates a warm, welcoming environment where every child is known and supported. My child has grown academically, spiritually, and socially. The teachers and staff are dedicated, kind, and truly invested in the students' success. We're so thankful to be part of such a special place. read more

As an adult who went to Catholic School myself, I can say with 100% certainty that this school is incredible. We are blessed to have found this school and more importantly a community of faith, educational rigor, and a staff who genuinely care about our child's safety while on campus and educational growth as they journey through the St. Clement experience. read more

My elder daughter attended this school after transferring from Challenger for 1 year. Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Maryann Harris along with the rest of the dedicated team of teachers and staff helped a lot in my daughters' personality development and her confidence. They were always ready to listen in and help out the children going way beyond academics to ensure the children get a safe and nourishing environment. I am truly grateful for their help and I wish St Clements the very best in the years to come. We were very happy with the Catholic School system and my elder daughter subsequently joined Moreau Catholic after finishing from St Clements. T read more

i attended st clement a couple years ago and its not that great. due to the size of the school, the pacing is the same for every student. although the teachers are kind enough to help a student who's behind, its no use for a student who is academically gifted. it holds back student potential because of the lack of different class levels. plus, electives are already chosen for your child, so there is no way for them to have any creative freedom and find a passion they would like to pursue in the future. a lot of the events that this school offers is mostly organized by students, and the cost is put onto the students as well. although the community and most of the staff is great, i would not recommend enrolling your child into this school, especially for middle school. they are far better off at a public school which offers different classes so that your child can actually progress academically and not be held back by their peers and general learning speed. read more

My daughter is in the TK program, Ms. Angela is such an amazing teacher, she makes all the kids feel special. The school is small but it's a tight community, everyone is very kind and supportive of each other. My daughter was recently diagnosed with a language disorder, and we have received nothing but support from Ms. Angela and the staff. Overall the students not only get a wonderful education, but they learn how to be kind and respectful of others and that is very important to our family. M.Torres read more

My eldest daughter has been attending since last year when she started in TK with the beloved Ms. Angela. Ms. A made a noticeable impact on her education, socialization, and helped her learn the basics of structure and discipline with a supportive and effective approach. We were amazed at how she changed within just a few months of being in this learning environment! We can't wait to send her younger sister next school year. Now the eldest is in Kindergarten and has learned how to read, write, and do math. We also love the community aspect of the school where you really get to know parents, teachers, and staff. We feel lucky to have found St. Clement, and to know that our daughter is in great hands each day we drop her off to learn. read more

My daughter has been attending SCS since she was in TK. Even though we could have sent her to the New Haven school district, we fell in love with SCS and the warm and inviting teachers during open house. Even during the pandemic and the shut down, SCS did an incredible job teaching kids from home. I was skeptical at first and thought about sending her to public for free should the school continue distance learning. We decided to stay for Kindergarten, and wow! My kid learned so much. Every day, they signed in, and the teacher taught through a power point presentation. She even learned to read through zoom learning! I was so skeptical, but she did! Room parents even set up weekly zoom playdates during the day, which also helped many working parents. SCS hosts lots of fun events like trunk or treat, Christmas pageant and soon, we will have another event for Easter! The community here is like no other. They are also taught generousity, so we also send in canned food donations during Thanksgiving. My daughter has made many close friends, and even I have made many wonderful parent friends. I was an alumnus at SCS, and I myself made many lasting friendships - many who I still keep in touch with regardless of the state we live. In fact, my SCS friends from 1st grade were all my bridesmaids on my wedding. I hope my daughter will build the same type of lifelong friendships I did. read more

One main reason is the teachers especially Ms Todd. She is an amazing teacher in spite of this year being her first year as a teacher. She provides excellent feedback and is fully invested in improving the children's skills. Ms Todd makes every child feel special and the kids reciprocate by doing well. Previous year's teachers were all so wonderful! Mrs Zajac and Ms Montes were made to be teachers. For Ms Montes, We literally saw how effective she was because she taught kids via ZOOM. She called on every child and made sure no kids were left out. It's also great they teach Spanish especially in California. One of the best reasons why kids go to a Catholic school is the children's awareness of God and their relationship with Him. Going to church once a week allows the children to receive sacraments and become exposed to the highest form of prayer. read more

My son is in fourth grade. He love going to school. He has amazing teacher and lots of friends.

We have been St.Clement Parents for 6 yrs. My daughter loves the school and has formed life long friendships. I am not giving 5 stars because there is a lot of teacher turnover, which can be concerning as a parent. Aside from that St. Clement sees our students as a whole; emotionally, academically and spiritually. read more

Saint Clement holds a special place in our family. Being an alumni myself, I knew I wanted to send my daughter here. She started in 2nd grade, now in 7th grade & she continues to thrive in this loving environment. St. Clement absolutely embodies a strong sense of community and family by leaning on the school's pillars of: faith, community & excellence. I am very much appreciative of the communication with school leadership and teachers. The health & safety of our children has remained a priority & was most evident amidst the pandemic. You will be so happy to send your child here! Come be a part of the St. Clement Family... read more

This is a gem of a school that we found when our oldest was entering Kindergarten (they also have TK!). We toured a bunch of schools in the area and this was the only school where we were so impressed by the students, who gave us the tour. We immediately knew we wanted our kids to turn out like them. They had confidence, were friendly, and well mannered. What a great investment. This is a true community that you join. read more

Great family oriented school, teachers have been great each year my daughter has attended.

My three boys just started attending SC this year and they love it! My youngest is in TK and absolutely loves his teacher Ms. Angela. Our conference with her at the beginning of the year was great as she showed that she really knows our son. Although our move took place mid pandemic, we were able to participate in a couple events during the year that showed us a bit of how the community works together. We're happy with the move and look forward to getting to know the community a bit more! read more

We transferred our children from a non-sectarian school to St Clement four years ago when they were just 8 and 10'years old. And we're glad we did. Our children have adjusted well with the help of the teachers and students. They're even a part of the student council. St Clement is a tight-knit community and I've experienced first hand the support of the school during the pandemic. Mrs Hernandez, the school's principal, goes really above and beyond to the call of duty. She puts the students' safety her top priority, from the Covid-protocols they have in place to also being a parent herself and her willingness to listen and understand my concerns, and most importantly, providing the reassurance and support that my family needs. I feel confident in her leadership as the school's principal. I couldn't say anything less about the teachers either. They are committed to bringing the best educational experience to the children. They have the right kind of support your child needs. If your children are doing well in class, the teachers keep them motivated by giving them advanced lessons apart from their classmates. They also provide additional support to your children if needed. They provide in-depth weekly updates to the parents on what the students are learning in class for each week. As a busy parent, these updates help me to stay involved in my kids' academic life. They also do a lot of projects geared towards helping the community which I think is very important. I want my kids to live the value of being of service to others. Also as a Catholic family, we'd like to have our children experience Catholic education in order to learn and live their faith. In this day and age where morality is in a vulnerable state, it is all the more important for my children to grow in an environment that puts emphasis on the Church's teachings and using them as their guiding principles. St Clement really lives up to its pillars of faith, community, and excellence. We appreciate all the faculty and administrative staff for their dedication and commitment in helping our children to be better individuals. read more

When my niece and nephew lived in the area I paid for them to attend St Clement. I saw such a positive change in them after they started attending the school. More than the positive change that comes from academics, what is in books, written on a white board and religious instruction (All of which were very important to the positive change I saw in them). It was the teachers and staff fostering politeness, kindness and respect for self and others that made the noticeable change in them. I only wish they could have remained in the school through the 8th grade. read more

My oldest started in the 1st grade, and he's now in the 7th grade while my younger son is in 3rd. It started out in part due to being conveniently next door to Moreau High School (since my stepdaughter was going there at the time), but the boys are very happy there. They've both developed good study skills (something that is continually being developed in preparation for the Junior High years) and now, they even make me feel bad because they're always blessing their food prior to eating. The only minor thing is you won't be able to find as many extracurricular activities and a broad catering to different skillsets in the classroom (beyond two groups), but this is to be expected with any Catholic elementary school setup (one class per grade, small population). It doesn't detract from everything the school brings, though. The teachers and administrative staff have been beyond caring and supportive when the boys have had challenges in school and now, during a major life change. You're not going to get this kind of combination of academics, support and feeling like family, and helping estabish a strong moral foundation in most other schools. And they're safe there. They're protected until the cows (or in this case, their caregivers) come for them. I would recommend this school to anyone, and already have. :) read more
