Here's the thing in parking. Even when you have a disabled placard/plates. You have to pay for a permit! $3 for a day or $40 for the whole semester, so better watch out! Or they will give you a citation/violation just to park. Permit is a deceiving word, you think that you have a disabled placard you have a notion that you got the permit. Wrong! Beware, when parking on Saturdays. Park patrol will give you a violation too. It must be posted on the disabled post that anybody has to purchase a (permit to park). Even when you have disabled placard/plates.

I went to the dental hygienist program information tonight around 6pm and nobody was African American or black in that information session or dental hygiene program. A student asked anybody if any students had any questions and I thought that the student would be nice and it was this student from Brazil and said Brazilians don't trust Americans cleaning their teeth when I said how do find patients putting her racist comments into the conversation. I'm not sure where these students are coming from but they're very racist and they don't have a problem with being that way. I walked out and said I don't need this program

Chabot college is a junior college in Hayward Ca! I finished my associate degree here almost 20 years ago! Junior college is an excellent way for a student on a budget to get general education requirements completed in preparation for a university! Chabot has a very nice swimming pool that can accommodate large championship events like WACC or EBSL championships. We've been swimming here for years and today is the last time as our son is off to USU in the fall! Thanks for all the great times Chabot College. I have nothing but fond memories!

If I had known this before I applied, I would have done an online school. One day, it took my 5-hour round trip commute to the Bay Area (510) with waiting for bus transfers, riding bart and bus, and getting to and from home. Previously, the commute with the Shuttle was wonderful, the best experience. Shuttle every 15 minutes, it seemed like. If you're like me and don't drive, consider attending another school. In my personal opinion and experience. Although the staff and transit people at school have given 100% effort in correcting issues, AC Transit isn't the best service. Half the time, I pay for a LYFT to take me to and from Hayward Bart to campus. Which averages $10 one way. Please consider this when applying.

Hello, Thank you…read morefor taking the time to read my email, I began the process of bettering my life and my career in August of 2022 when I reached out to Unitek to begin evening LVN classes. I spoke with Jeremiah and many other staff members during my interview process, and was asked extremely personal questions regarding my circumstances to ensure I was the student Unitek desired - little did I know, my disclosures on scheduling preferences and my single parenthood would be used to ensure you all took advantage of me and got money out of my pocket ensuring you would have not keep up your end of the student contract. I was clear from the beginning of my initiation, I work full time and have a daughter - every one I talked to ensured I would get into a night class within a year and that I needed to enroll in the prerequisite class immediately to not lose my spot. In doing this, and trusting you all I emptied my savings account with the hope of a bright future for my daughter and myself. I finished the prerequisite class at the TOP of the class - excited for the next steps, I called/texted Jeremiah. He called me a few days after completion of the prerequisite course welcoming me into the LVN next class, which was a full time day class - I was confused. I was so clear on my availability , and was PROMISED I would have access to a class in the evening within the year of the prereq course. During this phone conversation, Jeremiah stated there would be a class in December. December came and went, and I followed up - I was told there was a postponed class for June. Here we are. You promise classes, take people's hard earned money banking that they never get to the next step, without any care in the world. I am requesting a full refund as YOU are unable to keep your end of the contract. Please contact me with any questions. Regards,

Me and another lady were put for externship 1 hour away even though we lived close to Hayward. I ended up passing my test but they don't even help you try and find a job afterwards. They don't send emails about job openings or places looking for hires NOTHING. To me, this program feels very halfway and like it was just a quick money grab. Although the people training us on site were great, the owner is very snappy and annoying. She hounded ppl for their last payment even before the externship. It was honestly a horrible experience going through training during the pandemic. I still haven't been able to get employment anywhere! Which means I haven't had any CEU credits. The manager at our externship site sucked!! He basically used us for the free labor with no intentions on offering us a position even though we worked really hard and took initiative. They sold us this false hope of being hired then towards the end we realized a little discrimination going on at the site. All and all I would NOT recommend coming to this program. Like I said before I believe it's a money grab and Marisel has no intentions on helping you once you're done and she collects your money. She gives these long POINTLESS speeches about it being your job to find work blah blah when in reality you took our money, you should at least place us in a decent externship where we have a chance.

I suppose there are those who stick to their ways even when over time, advances in clinical practice are made. I figured that going to a school that taught modern chiropractic care would be my next best bet, and I was right! The senior intern who is currently treating (under the supervision of an experienced, licensed Chiropractor) is Sarah Opper. She is not just someone who decided to become a licensed Chiropractor out of no where. She has several hours of experience working hands on with people from her time working at StretchLab, has her Master's in Sports Performance and even has a husband who has sustained the same injuries as me (torn ACL, etc.) Sarah understood the difficulties I faced having to compensate with weight distribution because of my ACL injury and how it could possibly affect my back. Over the course of a few weeks I have felt immediate relief. And the great thing is the relief lasts for more than a day (unlike my previous treatments with licensed Chiropractors). She is easy to talk to, very attentive and has attention to detail making sure that my treatment plan is customized to my specific conditions that I want addressed.
