I have never had such bad experience with a grocery store Who ever is the district manager or store manger should be fired on the spot So the store opened this week and parking lot has been full and I decided to go when it opens at 600 am and there was a long line waiting for doors to open ( management that hint that your going to be busy ) The store looks great and products are good prices and quality looks good also But when to check out and only check out was self service ( here where the management and should know there neighbor ) it is a older crowd And self service doesn't make it with older people So they had 1 person covering checkout trying to help 10 people she was new and did deceit job helping god bless her ( it's hard to fly with eagles when u have managers that clueless and turkeys ) Best part I felt bad for all the frustration seen by new customers I went to customer service and asked for manager and she replied I can't help you this is not my store I will coming back when I guess that there may be better help read more

I have shopped and Meijer's in Seven Hills Ohio several times, often purchasing advertised sales items in the meat and produce departments. My issue is that the advertised price is not usually in the computer system, causing me to be charged the regular price, not the sale price. I then go to customer service for a price adjustment. If you don't mind being screwed over by Meijer's shop here. I don't anymore. They are thieves who don't show any concern for false advertsing. read more

More than a few items were not ringing up at the register for the same price it was labeled on the shelf. I understand that the staff is just getting acclimated but this is a logistical problem that people getting well paid should have all taken care of by now. It wasn't odd items either. It was things advertised in their sale paper getting rung up full price (eggs). I will give them another chance in a couple months, but thats a big screw up. Watch your receipt! Went there on Sunday, June 16, redhead at customer service was busy scanning UPC codes on a piece of paper, continually doing that while not taking care of customers. I wanted a rain check for an item that never came in. I was told by employee in the store, Jim. A. That I could get one since item never came in. Hubby and I went up front, we each have separate my perk cards, we each wanted a rain check, we were totally denied initially, had to get a kid manager up there, who then stated no, Then she said she would give us just one rain check between the both of us, very argumentative, you'd think she had stock in the company. DO NOT ORDER FROM BAKERY. I ordered a sheet cake for my daughter's birthday. They called 1 hour before pick up time to tell me they didn't have it. The only thing they could offer was a round cake half the size. Upon picking it up I asked why they didn't have my order. Apparently corporate doesn't bother to order cakes based on online orders. She said I should have read the "tiny print" at the bottom of the order form which apparently says they may or may not provide what you order. I said that an apology might be in order (which I had not received at that point) instead of a nasty attitude. Her response: "well, you're the one who ordered it". Wow !!!!!! I said this is horrible customer service. She said "what do you want? Should I take a few dollars off it?" I walked away. I have looked on the website again. The fine print says "design variations might occur". Nowhere does it say "you might not get the size or shape or flavor cake that you ordered". I went to this new store because I needed grocery and a lawn chair. It was my first time there. It's huge. I found lawn chairs in 3 separate places. Hint: The first place I found them was not the cheapest. I went looking for citric acid for canning. Could not find it. Asked someone. They are out, but canning supplies are by camping gear !? I found a good deal on Levi's but I was not sure of my size. There are NO FITTING ROOMS. I had to buy the pants, try them on in the bathroom and then return if they don't fit. Amazing store! It was exceptionally clean and the variety of foods in stock is way better than other grocery stores in the area.

The Bakery people answering the phone have never worked in a Bakery. I only need vanilla cupcakes about a dozen or two dozen. They tell you 3 days for an order. They come in frozen all they need to do is put the frosting on or switch out the ones that are a mix of choc and vanilla. No cant do that. So you have to call the store manager than they say ok no problem. So why is the bakery people so unaccommodating to Meijer Customers? You ask me? This happens all the time. It is called Bakery and you staff it?? I just dont get it. read more

Unfortunately this store has now become a hub for the undesirables. Can't even have a decent shopping experience when they are running, throwing balls around and screaming not to mention having carts half full of ice cream and perishable items that they decide to ditch in the middle of aisles. The store when it first opened did a great job of welcoming the community in many ways. They gave out reusable grocery bags that were pretty cool when it came to the designs. They also had free samples of cooked steak to try before you purchased the meat. Lastly the employees were very helpful as well as far as letting me know where certain items were located. I went into Meijers today with my Dad looking for some Carhartt, didn't find anything good very poor selection. I grabbed two hats for us and that was it I went over to the self checkout and paid for the hats with my receipt. With my dad being almost 85 years old I told him to head out the market side exit since I parked on the other side of the store and I'll bring the car over. As we part ways and I head out to the store this " Manager" Cory stops me after the sensors go off because the hats had the sensors left on them. No problem right, I turned right around and opened my bag and showed him what it was and the recipient. We'll all American Cory takes it upon himself to waste 20 mins of my time by telling me I couldn't have paid for the hats because Carhartt doesn't sale hats for 14.99. That made absolutely no sense. He's going around doing god knows what for all of 20 mins calling around to other managers and bringing other associates to this register he have me waiting at with the other cashiers (2). He leaves and comes back then one of the cashiers begin to explain to him that I bought two hats and the total price equals to what's on the receipt & before the other manger approaches us he says it's fine he can get them and mumbles " BOZO " underneath his breathe. The guy needs to be fired. I most definitely feel like I was being discriminated against as if I was trying to steal a $14.99 hat while wearing a full Carhartt outfit lol. Makes no sense and no one I don't care what color you are should have to go through that kind of mess.
