These folks do such a wonderful job with everything they do. The smells of the fresh bread and pastries is intoxicating. I almost wanted to eat all over again. Well, I restrained myself and was satisfied with looking through the entire counter and settling on a beautiful loaf of fresh Sourdough bread. I don't mind telling you, the moment we got home I ripped it open and ate several pieces... Heaven! If you find yourself near Chagrin Falls do yourself a favor and stop in. Tucked away in a little plaza is this gem and they have a large variety of baked goods and homemade items to choose from. They have breads, bakery, packaged foods/items, and hot lunch foods as well. They also have homemade dog treats which I really enjoyed. With this being my first time, the lady behind the counter was so lovely and helped me pick out a few different items to try as well as informing me of what all the baked goods were. I ended up getting the breakfast danish, an apricot danish, and a cinnamon glazed twirl stick. The bakery danish was interesting as it had a hard boiled egg inside of it and was topped with cheese and bacon. It was delish and it was nice to see something unique as a breakfast option. I felt the cinnamon twist was a bit dry but that could just be the type of bakery item it is. The apricot danish was nice, not sure if their filling is homemade or not but it tasted like most apricot fillings I have had. The bakery was tasty, I would not say I would go out of my way for any of the things that I tried but if I was in the area again I would definitely peak in to see what they have in the case for the day. Regardless, it is a cute place with lots of charm and you can tell the owners and staff genuinely care about their customers. I love supporting smaller businesses, bakeries and cafes so if i am in the area I will for sure come back and definitely try a bread or muffin next time.

I mean crispy dense flavorful gingerbread cookies, huge super toasty chocolatey oat chip cookies, a brookie?!? Everything here rocks and I am a super duper snob when it comes to bakery items (see all of my bakery reviews haha). I came to try a pizza bagel which I learned they recently stopped serving because the health inspector said they needed to be in a cooler, which this place does not have. In the brief time that I was there, several people came in for these also and were disappointed to hear the news. I ended up getting a cinnamon roll, nut roll, and brownie. The cinnamon roll was delish. I gave the other two to friends and they enjoyed them. Service was okay. The woman was slightly impatient as I asked questions. She answered them, but seemed a little annoyed. I just wasn't as familiar with the items because it seemed like there were all variations of the same things maybe with different nuts. Their shelves weren't super full by the time I got there and I am curious to try other items from them. I see that they sell cookies and pastries at a local grocery store chain, Marc's. Also appreciated that they took tap to pay, which is uncommon in such an old school place. Just gotta spend over $5.
