I frequent this Meijer often. Service at the pharmacy, check out counter, and entrance/exits of the store are much better than at other locations. I buy groceries here regularly. There is a large selection of fruit, vegetables, kombucha, and cold-pressed juices. Multiple frozen food aisles with a large selection as well. There is decent seafood including a brand that sells frozen poké that's pretty good. read more

Meijer is one of my favorite places that has everything. Home decor? Check. A good card selection? Check. Your favorite Michigan favorites? Check. Questionable goldfish in the back? Check. Meijer has it all. I live nearby and I come here a few times a month. Employees here have always been courteous and helpful. The store is also fairly clean. Grocery shopping is a *tad* difficult with their new signage that isn't clear to read when they have fairly long aisles: The aisles are wide enough to get your cart or riding cart through so that's a plus! Meijer offers a lot of cute home decor items that I've bought over the years. Pillows, blankets, frames, hand towels have all lasted and are well made. I'll be back soon! read more

I applaud meijer for their commitment to keeping shelves stocked and keeping prices low. As groceries go, they have my continued patronage. As such, this review is being made specifically for the bakery. I placed an order for a cake early in the morning on July 2 for a pickup on July 4. I went to bed and awoke to an email from Meijer stating that my order was cancelled. I was not provided with any reasoning, just that my order was canceled. I called the number listed and was sent to a directory for the store. I selected bakery and a man answered stating he was from the bakery. However, he was unable to answer any questions about my order and said he had to transfer me to someone else. He attempted to transfer me, and my call disconnected. I reattempted and the same thing happened. I called about 4 times in total, each time having the same issue happen, and decided I would give it a break. About 2 hours later I called again, explained what happened, and he again transferred me to a line that promptly disconnected. I tried again, and the same thing happened. After this, I went through the directory, asked to speak with a manager, and the manager apologized, and transferred to the same man at the bakery who then transferred me to a line that caused my phone to disconnect. I called again and spoke to a different manager who was finally able to connect me to the correct person at the bakery. This man then told me that my order was cancelled because order volumes were too high for the date that I placed my order. This is an understandable reason, but I am dissatisfied at Meijers lack of customer service. They could have not allowed any more orders to be placed for the 4th, sent a note in the email stating why it was cancelled, attempted to correct the disconnecting problem, but the did none of this. In fact, the man that I spoke to offered me no alternative, he just said that the bakery wouldn't be making my cake and hung up. I have ordered from the meijer bakery several times before and have previously been satisfied, so I am very disappointed in my experience with them this time read more

Truly incredible. This place has everything I need to survive. I was was laying on the floor, starving, covered in mud (tried to wrestle a domestic boar in the woods for food. Failed), wondering how I was going to continue. The local tribal leader (my mom) helped me up and told me we were going to "the grocery store". Confused and depleted of energy I found the strength to aid the tribal leader in this quest. After walking through these massive doors that reminded me of the gates of Valhalla, I was welcomed by a local warrior. "Welcome to Meijer" they screamed to me, half expecting to be given a mug of ale following their warming vocal tribute. I almost fell to my knees in disbelief. This feasting house was lined wall to wall with food and treasures. An awe-inspiring epicenter of goods to barter for. I will be returning. read more

Mejier is a very good grocery store. They have excellent selections of produce, clothes, and personal care items. The staff is friendly and always ask if you have any coupons. Meijer does have a rewards program called M Perks. You can sign up on their website and clip coupons. Meijer also sends coupons out in the mail as well. If you get their credit card anytime you fill your gas tank it's an automatic ten cents off a gallon. They also offer self checkout which depending on the lines could be a quick in and out. Overall, Mejier has a great selection, and the prices are reasonable. read more

This is a typical grocery store. They have groceries....the real issue is that there are only about 4 regular registers open on a busy Monday evening with about 39387 people standing in line trying to buy groceries. I finally chose a line that I thought would be moving along and after standing there for about 5 minutes, the clerk decided that she's closing after the woman standing in line in front of me. So I had to go to another long line while my ice cream melted in my basket. Great. read more

Every time I've scheduled a covid test here they have given me problems, saying I don't have an appointment when I have the voucher right in front of me, or saying I'm too late when I'm within the 30 minute window of the appointment and I'm late anyway because of their drive thru line. On top of it, the pharmacy just hangs up the phone when you call, apparently, as it's happened multiple times. I've gone through all of the voice prompts, get to the part where it rings the pharmacy, and then someone picks up and hangs up. What a joke! read more

I was shopping at this location with my mother from 11am to 1230pm. The remodeling of this store is semi complete but after shopping today I'm not so sure. 4 bins for returning empties and 2 for glass bottles is not enough. When a person comes in with 2 baskets of empties is not fair to run 2 machines while others wait. DAIRY IS nice, organized and we'll lighted. We were very upset that pop tarts are not across from cereal let alone down same isle. Check out at 1230 was horrible.. not enough cashiers so not enough lanes open. Curbside pick up is useless at the Roseville, Michigan store. 4 out of 4 orders have only been half filled, saying the items are not in stock. The last 2 orders of this, i immediately put the car in park, and went into the store. And sure enough, I found every item they said was not in stock. I ordered for online delivery. The first two times were awesome. Great produce was very surprised at what a great service. Then my last order wasn't so good. Made an order online took me 2 hours cause their website is so slow. I ordered almost $400 worth of groceries. Was texting my shopper and she was telling me she was cashing out. Then all of a sudden I got an email saying my order was canceled. But I was still charged the amount, and no groceries. They can't tell me why my order was canceled.... unbelievable! Still waiting to get refunded if I even do. I will never shop at a meijer ever again. I suggest never do an order online to get delivered. I'm wondering what happened...... read more

This is my local Meijer, and Meijer is the only store that I shop at, but this location is pretty dumpy and rundown. It needs a bit of a face lift. My biggest gripe is with the bottle return area... The overall cleanliness of the store is OK, but the bottle return... It's disgusting, none of the machines work and the employees that work back there are far from helpful. I've been to other stores, Meijer and others, and the bottle return area does not have to be a cesspool. Seriously. Clean this area up and get a few good people to run it. The grocery isles are kept up well, and most of the product seems to be rotated properly. I've never had a bad gallon of milk, or a bad carton of eggs from this location. The checkout is a checkout... banks, supermarkets, fast food restaurants... all have their scheduling quirks, so I can understand why 54 lanes aren't open on Wednesday morning, but the cashiers are hit and miss. Some are slow, some are quick. The biggest employee related obstacle is the deli counter. The line will only be four people deep but these folks are SLOW. Every.Time. Every. Day. It takes way too long for the deli counter employees to get a half pound of Turkey... I'd say 80% of each trip to Meijer is spent at the deli counter. I'd rather drive the extra mile to the location in Fraser as it's a bit cleaner, has a newer feel to it, and the employees work at a much faster pace. read more

Huge Meijer! Everything is nice and new! Love how the deli section offers a range of freshly prepared foods, sushi, and other prepackaged foods. The aisles are clearly labeled and easy to read. But Meijer but most of them are! They have numerous check out lanes to suit your needs, ones with cashiers, self check outs that you can scan 12 items or ones that allow you to do an entire order, with its own conveyor belt. Meijer offers full grocery store, clothing for everyone, lawn/outdoor stuff, makeup and toiletries sections, toys, bikes, and pretty much anything else you need to live. My family and I had to stop and fill up our UHaul rental before we dropped it off nearby. Nearly built gas station and it certainly shows! The convenience store was very clean. Bathroom was huge and fully stocked. Haven't really been to a gas station bathroom that didn't give me the heebee jee bees but this one definitely didn't. Lots of snack and drink choices to choose from! Including iced coffee, coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate machines. Everything was priced effectively and labeled. Awesome sales. I've shopped at this Meijer for many years, but I think I may have made my last shopping trip there. The plus side: They are well stocked, have some great deals, and it's a great way to do a huge shopping trip, where you can get stuff efor the home as well as for the pantry. One major issue I have with this store is that the lines are long and slow. The cashiers have to ring everything up and bag everything in those carousel bag caddies. It drastically slows things down. A conveyor belt and baggers (or even letting customers bag their own) would make lines move faster. So would opening up more lanes. (I swear, in more than 20 years, I have never seen more than four lanes open, and there must be 25 or more available.) Since the pandemic, the lines have gotten worse. You could go in during the early evening or on a weekend and see lines with 15, 20, or more customers waiting to check out (via self-checkout) or be checked out. I just went on a Monday evening and the lines were the worst I've ever seen. The cashier-manned lines went way back, and the u-scan lines were even longer. I swear there must have been 25 or 30 customers in each line. Maybe more. The sad thing is I like Meijer's variety and their deals. I also like that I can find stuff I can't find in other local stores. But this last shopping experience has made me decide to take a long vacation. I had plans to find a floor lamp, an ottoman, cat food, hair dye, and plenty more (every time I go I end up spending $150 or more), and instead, I just walked out. We've been shopping Myers for years and when the pandemic hit we use pickup . Unfortunately we received a lot of damage when opening our bags and we always called and they assured us they credit us and never did. Dollars piled up and damaged goods or missing Goods I would call and ask for a refund never receiving it . I finally flagged the manager down in the store by this time I wasn't even using the pickup it was too expensive . I told him about the problem and he just poo pooed it and kept walking . I was shocked, so I wrote corporate and received a call from a man from the local miners named John , I proceeded to tell him that I'd ask for refunds and none had ever been given and no responses ever given . He started yelling at me blaming the whole thing at me , screaming at me . Actually intimidating me and bullying me . I finally just said fine I won't shop here anymore and I never have gone back and it's been several months . It wasn't a lot of money but we're seniors on us very fixed income , and that was taking food out of our mouths or money out of our savings . This place is absolutely horrible. The pharmacy especially. Let's put it this way - I'm sick as a dog, I just drove up there in slippers and pj pants to drive through their pharmacy - guess what? Drive through is broken. Well - I knew the drive through was half broken six months ago - because you could hardly hear the pharmacy representative through the speaker. Every time I came I told the person I spoke to I couldn't hear them - they told me they know, apparently everyone complains about it. Did they bother to fix it in the during that six months? Nope, just waited for it break completely to inconvenience the customers. So then I went in the store. In pajamas. Like a world class scrub. And I had to walk to the complete opposite back corner of the store to get Kleenex. Heaven forbid they put them up front by the pharmacy where all the sick people are. And last but certainly not least - I waited in line a half hour at the pharmacy to get my meds. There was four customers in line besides myself - and three of the four customers were complaining about how horrible this pharmacy is. And how they ALWAYS have problems. After I got up to the counter, they realized they didn't run my meds through my insurance. So then I had to wait an additional 10-20 minutes for her to fix it. I've been threatening never going back here for quite some time - but I think this is finally it. I'm done with this place. read more

When I was a kid there used to be a K-Mart store at 13 Mile just east of Little Mack, right across the street from this present day Meijer. The land was a golf course back then. My mom spent a whole lot of time shopping in that K-Mart. My dad spent his fair share in there, too. So I was in that store for many hours. That K-Mart was kind of a dump, but it was an amazing wonderland to me as a kid. So many products under one roof! (And it didn't even have a full grocery like this Meijer.) I was fine with that K-Mart until the stuck-up kids at school made incessant fun of it, and anybody who shopped there. I didn't dare admit where mom bought me clothes anymore. Fast forward to 2015 when that K-Mart is many years gone. This Meijer is now that K-Mart and Yelp reviewers are big spoiled, stuck-up versions of those K-Mart hating kids piling on it. And while it's seen better days this Meijer isn't close to being as dumpy as that K-Mart became. This place is amazing! So many products under one roof and at reasonable prices! Do you have any idea how shitty the lives of people in the third world who toil to make all these products just so some spoiled American can buy them at Meijer are?? Normally I enjoy shopping at Meijer.. But I think in the future I will go to another location. The lines are slow / long. It seems like almost none of the cashiers have been working for very long. Merch on the shelves is sloppy, not in the right locations or marked correctly. The grocery produce are always looks ran-sacked no matter what day I go. Today was the last straw.... The cleanliness of the restrooms was utterly disgusting. I ended up visiting all the restrooms in the store HOPING for one that didn't look like a fecal version of a Jackson Pollock painting. The "schedule" of when the restrooms had been cleaned last was a total farce!! I shudder to think that EMPLOYEES working here use these facilities and then return to handling food. When Meijers first showed up about 20 some years ago it was kind of cool to go there at 2am and shop for whatever but now it's old hat and the prices don't seem so great any more. I do appreciate that they have some nice things that you can't get from other places like their ethnic sections and I can't find Kirks of Castille soap anywhere but here. There are some nice gems walking around and stocking the aisles, more than once this guy went out of his way (a thin 55ish year old guy) to help me find items. But the niceties end when I approach the deli. Here's what to expect 75% of the time at the deli: a long wait while the employees banter about their break time being screwed with. Wrong orders discovered when you get home. Wrong charges because the right meat with the wrong meat pricing. A couple years ago their old ticket system broke down and they didn't replace it for a year, this caused pissed off customers who had to figure out who was next all the time. I've often gone the extra 2 miles to the Meijer on 15 and Utica just to avoid this. More than a few times they have deals that seem like bait and switch because they will put a similar item in the spot or close to what is supposed to be the deal. (This might have been unintentional but it's happened so many times that it seems fishy) read more
