Great prices on some things! Frozen section needs work. Freezers smell bad and a lot of frost burnt things.

Kroger in general sucks (look up the company's new facial recognition initiation) but this location is the worst. I scheduled pickup and a bottle of wine was part of my order. Halina, the employee who brought my order out asked for my ID, I explained it was a temporary one. She tried flipping it over (I explained to her all the info was on the front sheet of paper. Being a temp license, my old license was stapled to the sheet of paper with my updated info by the Secretary of State.) she said there was no way to enter my info, and she had to scan my license. She ripped my license out of my hand and ripped the card from the sheet of paper, quite literally destroyed and nullified my temp license. When I gasped and asked why she would do that, her answer was "I had to scan it, you got your alcohol, didn't you?" Nasty woman, absolutely unhinged and disgusting behavior. Why she felt the need to tear my license apart, I can't understand. Why Kroger employs workers who act this way, I also can't comprehend, I will never be back.

Review #539…read more 2/28/2026 Today I can certainly update My previous review which was only for the sit down restaurant or cafe back on 3/29/2019. Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. Nino Salvaggio has been in business throughout Michigan with many locations since 1978 with 4 locations and coming soon in Livonia on Schoolctaft. The Staff work hard every time I walk in restocking fresh fruit or vegetables that are higher quality than supermarket stores. The premade meals to go are reasonable price or weekly specials help shoppers plan their meals as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. I glad to be a shopper here weekly for those special ideas and deals that help Me create and make my tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy My posted photos attached to help and assist future Yelp friends and shoppers decide what they want to make, and enjoy tasting with their creativity Cooking Skills! Smaczne ! Sincerely, Karen N. :-) Macomb, MI.

I am embarrassed to admit, it had been a while since we last shopped here. But our visit last week…read morereminded us that this is one awesome store. We have a few other fruit markets in the area, but this has become my latest favorite. Every twist and turn through the store offers another product to try. We came in for nothing in particular but left with a cart full. I like that they have half pies for smaller families. Their homemade soups are really good. We tried the chicken lemon rice and the chicken pot pie. Their fruits and veggies are fresh, unlike the grocery stores at times. Oh and that freshly popped smell when we walked in had us making a beeline straight to the popcorn counter. Their fresh salsa is pretty good and their homemade chips I really like. The spinach artichoke dip is very good too. We'll be going back soon for another round of 'let's try this'. We've only just begun our taste testing.

The prices aren't very good, and there really isn't much to the store: just a walk-in cooler, another refrigerator in the front, and a couple of shelves. THIS place is my favorite place to shop and I go regularly. Great selection of meats plus pre marinated options. Curated selection of veggies, milk, eggs, cheeses, and dips. Highly recommend the discount meat rack, I picked up 2 Delmonico's for $6 yesterday. Quality of meat is exceptional, personally had wonderful meals with their chicken, steak, and pork. It looks so small but each option they have is excellent! Service has also been great, I was there Christmas Eve looking for marinade ingredients and couldn't find what I thought I needed. Chatted to one of men working and he made a sauce recommendation that is my new go-to. More importantly the mustard sauce marinade for my baked corned beef was the best I have ever tasted. I've been coming to the Farmers Market in Clinton Township for years, and honestly, I loved it back…read morewhen it had that small, country-store feel. It was cozy, personal, and worth the trip. But lately, they've been modernizing and expanding -- and unfortunately, the prices have been expanding right along with it. The perfect example is their store-made roast beef. Just this summer it was $6.99 a pound, and now it's jumped to $9.99 a pound -- a 42.9% increase. That roast beef was the one door-buster item that kept me coming back. I was in their store every other day, picking up two pounds at a time. But now that it's become a popular product, they seem to feel the need to gouge the customer. It's disheartening. They've always run on the higher side for pricing, but at least that roast beef balanced things out. With that gone, there's just no incentive left. Compare it to Cattleman's Market in Center Line, where New York strip steaks run about $7.99 a pound versus nearly $14 here. Lunch meat is also considerably cheaper at Cattleman's. It's disappointing to watch a place I once looked forward to visiting turn into just another overpriced stop. They can keep their roast beef -- I'll take my business elsewhere.

I grew up on supremely operated party stores of ole like Buscemi's and Lou's Party Store, so when I looked at the facade of this edifice, I was less than impressed. I still decided to go in, and I'm glad I did. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the expanse of the store. It doesn't look as big from the outside, but it is very spacious. Yes they have all of the neighborhood party store staples you would expect - cold pop, water, beer, energy drinks and so forth. There is beef jerky, candy, and chips of many varieties as well. I didn't expect the hot food to be so good though. The pizza, with old world pepperoni, was really good. Much better than Domino's, Little Caesar, and the like. But it didn't stop there. Ribs and potatoes were cooked well. My only wonder would be what they do with them if it doesn't sell quickly. Would you throw it out? Would you discount it? Discount it heavily? Those questioned may be answered on future visits. Suffice it to say, this neighborhood party store has everything you would expect that it should have and more. And yes, they do indeed have liquor and cigarettes for my degenerate followers who need to know. This is not just a great convenience when in the area, but it's an overall great spot.
