Update - just called Walmart corporate and they noted my complaint and still want me to take the solid creamer back into the store for a refund!!! I am DONE! I bought a creamer from Walmart chesterfield last week, opened it a couple of days ago and it was SOLID!!!! I literally took it back to the store just now and the blond lady manager said customer service was closed. She wouldn't even exchange it for a good one!! She said I could BRING IT BACK TOMORROW. I had my oil change and everything went well I thought but when I came in for the next scheduled oil change appointment I noticed they were removing oil from the top of the engine I ask the technician why they were removing the oil from the top and he told me that the drain plug was stripped so that means the previous oil change is when the technician stripped the drain plug at Walmart. I turn in a complaint and Walmart agreed to a settlement but I have to contact a 3 rd. Party and when I call I get a recording saying they are in a meeting and the call ends. If I not able to get in contact with them in one mouth they void the agreement pay out. Very frustrating read more

This location recently updated their security systems and self pay registers. They have done a lot of remodeling as well. When you walk into the fresh side they now have rows of candy, snacks, and drinks near the self pay registers. They also changed a lot of the signs above aisles and moved some aisles aroind. I admit this made it difficult to find items because everything was moved around. The major downside to the new self pay kiosks is that there are so many and so they only ever have two cashiers open. Ususally I love using the kiosks but they no longer take WIC or can return coupons. This is a major issue that needs to be resolved. I had to stand in a line of 6 people to wait for a cashier. There were so many kiosk lanes open too but we couldnt use them. Overall, I like the new changes they have made to the store. I am hoping that they can at least fix those issues. read more

Good location with plenty of parking, but the facility is a little far off the road which can make it difficult to find compared to most Walmarts. The store is clean, bright and well maintained, and has an excellent selection of items that are on display to purchase. The gardening department had a excellent selection of cactus and succulents with new lower prices on their "collector" plants. Employees were courteous and helpful. read more

They limit cash-outs to twenty-five dollars per day, forcing customers to waste time making multiple trips just to get their own money back as if life nowadays isn't already stressful enough. I brought in a garbage bag full of bottles worth fifty dollars, only to be told I could only redeem half and would have to return the next day like some kind of rationing system from the Great Depression. To make it even more absurd, the cashier acted like a cop enforcing strict government law, sternly reminding me of the rule as if I was trying to pull a fast one on Walmart. Meanwhile, our government is out here burning through hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, handing out foreign aid, bailing out corporations, and funding pointless programs, but Walmart is worried about limiting a working person's bottle return to twenty-five bucks a day. Let's break it down: Walmart makes over $500 billion in revenue annually, yet they are gatekeeping bottle refunds like it is coming out of their own pockets. Their return policy is inconsistent. Some locations enforce this limit while others do not, meaning it is just a random hassle based on the mood of the cashier. The entire deposit system exists because we already paid extra at checkout. This is not Walmart's money--it is money that rightfully belongs to the customer. They are just holding it hostage with an arbitrary rule. The worst part? Other grocery stores do not do this. WOW textbook ineptitude!! I ordered tires online 6. Two for my wife and 4 for me. 2 hours before arrival for my wife's installation I got a text saying the tires were delayed. Upon further investigation a Walmart online help individual stated it would be indefinite and issued a refund. I called the store and they had a set that would fit in house.. so all is good right? Wrong!!! I get to the store. Nobody had taken my info over the phone! Eventually they found tires that fit after 20 minutes of BS. I said hey while I'm here it says my tires came in can we throw em on my truck today instead of waiting 3 more days til my appointment? Sure! They pulled my truck in to get started..10 minutes later I get a phone call from the tech saying the tires are the wrong size!! WHAT!! I went back and proceeded to show him my tire size matching the size I ordered online which specifically stated it was a "perfect match for my vehicle" the kid tried to give me some bs story about how the tag inside the drivers door of my truck specified the correct size...ok let's take a look? Sure enough the number in the door frame matched the numbers on my tire which matched the number I ordered!! They sent the wrong tires and didn't want to own it! Then to top it off they didn't offer to re order me tires or reschedule or knock a few bucks off my wife's tires for the inconvenience..nothing not even a sorry. I got my refund and went to discount tire. 25$ more they got em in house and they'll be mounted Monday. I will NEVER go back to Walmart for tires again. Joke. Waited three hours for four tires to be put on that I brought. I'm sorry but The tire techs need to either get retrained or go to a class on how to actually learn how to be efficient and work smarter and not place torque wrenches with the socket leaning against my wheels while someone could've knocked it over and scrap up the wheels and also not go forget to put a brand new lug nut that I BOUGHT because " the stud was stripped" when it clearly wasn't and I even came back after I checked at home. when I walked back in a tech goes oh here's your lug nut, all I was thinking was geez dude thanks for keeping that it's not like I wanted that. And they all proceeded to tell me it won't be safe And i went into the parking and I put the lug nut on hand and it clearly wasn't stripped, And also not to mention they practically painted my new rough country wheels with thread locker, I'm sorry but I never asked for abstracted art on my new wheels!!! Your customer service staff is absolutely atrocious you should honestly be ashamed. Your money is best spent at Target or Meijer instead of this garbage pit. The only employee who tried to be helpful was in charge of the self checkouts. I had two customer service staff talk to me and they were absolutely awful. I had to ask several times and resort to an attitude because your staff was so rude, lazy and toxic. I was looking for one item and had a simple question but instead I got the run around and when I finally got an answer the customer service representative started walking away running her mouth off as she went. Full time RV's for over a year now. Been in several Walmart's in 18 different states in last 12 months. Walmart Super Center in Chesterfield, Mi absolutely the worst as far as customer service! It was raining out, 0 carts at either entrance. When asked associates who were chit chatting they said they were short handed and it was raining. Suggested I bring a couple in when I go out to get one!. Started looking around and seen more and more associates visiting. Worst managed/supervised store from CA to Michigan!! I'm just going to my Regular Super Center with mom, and and I've been here enough times that I can't make a book about it. The Price for the Produce and Food are Decent (a lot of their items is $10 for 10, 2 for $2.50, etc.) but the electronic Dept are ridiculous priced,and a lot of of their equipment is broken, we just went by the Digital Photo Center as I'm typing this, and she can't connect to the Center cause the wires are loose and the screen says its "Not Apple Compatible" even though she has an IPhone 6. and there's only one employee in that department, so most of the time no one is there to assist you. And speaking of assistance, the employees are lacking for 'caring' about their job. I don't need to hear how you're "not getting paid enough money in your check", or the "people don't care about us". Well if you actually think positive and try to do a good job, you won't have to complain as much to the customer, in which I don't want to hear it. Overall Walmart has a Bad Reputation with Customer service, and this particular Store doesn't seem Different. I will only keep coming back here for the Cheap Prices. read more

This is the Walmart by my house. I come here a lot. The prices are good across all Walmart's, yes, but WHY IS the CUSTOMER SERVICE COUNTER NEVER STAFFED??? And when there is one person working that counter, with 6 ppl in line, countless employees just walk by. What kills me is they have new "express lines" set up. This is Walmart. What do you expect from it? You aren't going to find a personal shopping assistant here catering to you. You will not also find happy employees dancing in the aisles and whistling and enjoying their lives. These are people working for terrible wages, but that is an entire conversation for another forum. This Walmart scores high for me because usually a lot of stuff is in stock here where it is out at other places. Forget the nightmare that is the Walmart on Hall Road. Too many Walking Walmart Dead in there and its usually out of stock. This one since, it is in the godforsaken Township of Chesterfield, usually has good stock and isn't too crowded. It is somewhat clean. It isn't like a Mexico City Bus Station, so i guess not smelling urine and kettle corn cooking as you walk in and shop is a plus. It is clean for the most part sans some trashy people here and there and the stench of old used recycling cans and bottles when you come in. This is an ok Walmart, and it wouldn't be WALMART without 50 Registers with 1 open, but thank goodness for Store Pick Up and Self Check Out if you really have to go inside. Its Walmart. They're evil corporate pigs that trounce the little man, but hey! the trade off is that they will exchange anything with a receipt. Bring in used diapers with a receipt and they'll most likely refund or exchange them. Also remember to have your cameras ready to shoot because you never know what you will find in here. read more

They need to know that just because the employees don't care doesn't mean the customers need to spend over an hour to pick up a few items. The cashiers need to get the lead out and move a little faster Finding what I needed was less than 20 minutes. Standing in line at the pharmacy and check out was crazy slow. 1 person being helped and 1 in front of you should not take over 20 minutes when no one person had very many items. Yesterday I went to Auto Service Dept in Walmart to have a Oil Change and I had bought 2 New Tires online at Walmart. So I needed the old ones replaced. The Service Attendant was CHRISTOPHER I SPOKE TO. CHRISTOPHER BEGAN HIS SELL PITCH claiming the computers not working right. So I asked how much would the cost he stated 65. I said okay he started the work and I noticed the floor manager for the garage left for the day. So Christopher felt he could uncharge me from 65 dollars to 85 dollars to change tires and oil change. He had me waiting for this service for 3 and half hours. I asked for a Manager about this up charge and he stated they all left. But Since he felt the need to keep me hanging around the store for his on personal eye candy. I saw the other manager so I knew one was there. She came look at what the computer had charged me for the service and corrected it Thank You Dawn. Other customers came in after me and had issues with him as well. I was in the area and I needed to pick up a few items so I decided to take a gamble and stop in here. Uh man... Upon entering the greeter didn't say a word to me, just looked at me blankly. I made my way through the store, dodging rude customers in the process. When I got to the checkout counter I wasn't greeted once again. The cashier was talking/gossiping about some human. This location has "Horrible" customer service. They do not talk to you in a professional way. Especially the assistant manager DENISE. Needed to get my battery checked after purchasing it from this location so I called at 5:30pm told them I needed either a new battery or maybe just a charge not sure which one. I asked if I could bring it in the same day they said yes they close at 7:00pm. Once I got there at 6:00 was rudely told they are over capacity . When I explained I was just on the phone and was told to bring it in they said sorry they couldn't do anything. Why would you not tell someone that they couldn't take them instead of driving there. I will never step foot at this location. The assistant manager seem like she didn't want to even deal with me and when I explained to her what happened and told her that's the reason I was there because they told me they close at 7:00 her response was well it is on the door anyone can see that. I bought a ps4 controller here and it turned out to be a used broken one, so I took it back for a return and was told I could not because it was a black controller, placed in a box for a camo one. I advised them that it must have been a return that was placed back on the floor or an employee switched it, a manager Betty did not like me saying this and her next statement was "it could not have happened, because they are under lock and key from the factory to the floor" and she could care less when I showed her I price matched it and the only one that was offered at that price was a black one. Betty then told me she will review the security tapes the next day and would call me back. After I left the store I called corporate and filed a complaint, Well day two came and I did not receive a call so I had to call her and was informed she feels it was camo in the box and that it must have been priced match as a "favor" to me.. So again suggesting it was me that switched them and advised she could not do anything else, I told her I want someone else to review this and was told they would contact me later. After hanging up I contacted corporate and they were surprised that Betty had already respond to the complaint and labeled it as resolved, so I upped my complaint to the market manager, in the mean time this store was told to refund it via the corporate line. I went and returned it and never once was given a sorry for the inconvenience nor any form of apology. Well the deadline for the market manager Bernie to contact me passed so another request for contact was sent and that time line passed. At this point I was given the number to his secretary dove whom I explained how I was accused of switching them and was never given the benefit of the doubt, she stated she was going to look into it. She then called and told me it seemed like there was a lot of finger pointing and no one really accepting responsibility nor giving an explanation as to why I was treated like this, she then proceeded to offer me a 25$ gift card to try a me smooth it over... I stated to her that would not even cover my gas and time I spend having to personally go to the store to deal with this, and that I would ideally like an explanation why it happened and a much overdo apology from the store. According to dove "they would not subject Betty to having to apologize for this" so I left it with her that I'm glad she would not be subject to any form of apology but it was perfectly ok to subject me to all the assumptions and accusations with it.
