The store is disgusting. The rest rooms aNd fitting rooms are dirty. The store has super narrow isles and it's a PITA when 2 people are in the same row with carts.....it's like a stand off - who wIll recede to retrace wHere they cAme from in order to make progress. The clearance shelves look like piles up broken garbage. Disappointed in the direction of this store. Long lines too. read more

This review is for online ordering with curbside pickup during the Covid-19 pandemic. A family member has a birthday coming up in a week, so I checked Amazon for a few gift ideas. I couldn't get my order delivered until after the birthday. I then went to the Kohl's website and saw I could pick up an order on the same day. Yes, Score! The website was okay. I had to re-enter my 'home' store a couple of times as it kept reverting back to another one. There must have been a small glitch in the system, but I worked through it. I'm closest to the Lakeside Mall store, but they don't have this option to pick up curbside at this location, thus the reason for choosing the Chesterfield Kohls. Since I chose 'pick up' it took some time to find a store that had all 4 of the items at the same location. Some stores didn't have the colors I was looking for, but after diligence, the Chesterfield store had all of the colors and sizes I wanted. After adding the items to the cart, I used the coupon offer I had, made my payment and sat back and waited for the notification of when my order would be ready. In a very reasonable amount of time on that same day, my order was ready for pickup. I drove there, pulled up and called the number they tell you to call and gave them my information and it was brought right to my car curbside. Simple, quick and easy. I'll definitely use this convenient feature again if I ever need to. Worthy of a definite 5 stars although I had that little glitch in the beginning. It all worked out in the end and that's what matters most. read more

We were given kohls cash as well as another certificate with money from a return. When we tried to spend it they insisted we spent it already which was not true. The person that was helping us first said this was happening all day. But when the manager came she refused to let us use them despite us saying they were not used. Also the fact that you can't use the dressing rooms is ridiculous. Other stores have had theirs open with no problem. I will go to stores where I can try on clothes there. read more

I never shopped at Kohls much until recently. I'm a coupon fanatic and realized that I can get great deals on clothes, household needs, accessories and much more all at the same place. What I love about Kohls is the extended hours, even when it's not the holiday season. I find myself venturing to Kohls around 10/11pm just to get my shopping done. No crowds. No lines. Helpful associates. Even power hour shopping sales that make my shopping trips even more worthwhile. Parking lot can be a zoo during a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and the place can be crazy busy. read more

What a great Kohl's store compared to the one in Sterling Heights. The music, lighting's is better. No messy isles, the shelves are stocked with a great variety of colors sizes in all departments. And naturally the employees are very helpful and friendly and quick at checkout. I would drive the extra mile or two for a well organized Kohl's!! read more

This location is very organized and tame. It's off the beaten path and located in the back area of an shopping complex park in Chesterfield. The workers here are very nice, meaning that they are not pestering you the entire time that you are shopping. Like most Kohl's locations, they have coupons on standby that they scan for customers that ask to help them save even more. I have to say this Kohl's is always very clean and the workers are friendly. I've found plenty of good deals here and gifts for friends and family. I love the online ordering/same-day pick up. My orders have always been correct and fairly fast. BUT every time I come to this location, I'm hounded for a Kohl's charge. Even after I say no the first time, they go on.. "Well.. you can save an additional 15% today..." blah..blah..blah... Again, No thank you. Customer Service desk - always a line. Doesn't matter when you go. I've been here during the week on my lunch and there's one worker, people in line trying to adjust receipts and save more money and complain about Kohl's cash. And then there's me, who is only waiting to pick up my online order that I already paid for. You need more workers at the Customer Service desk. Maybe if a cashier is not busy and see's that the Customer Service desk is busy, go help? I know it's retail and they deal with awful customers on a daily basis but you need more help in that area. And stop asking about Kohl's charge. read more

I love to shop at Kohls however this particular store has terrible customer service. The fail to comply with the corporate store policies on returns. Instead of crediting my Kohls card because even though I HAVE everything required but they can't find it in their system then they want to issue an in-store credit. This gives them my money twice..once I need to pay my credit card now with interest and re spend that $ in their store. UNBELIEVABLE !! Keep it up and you will be another Jc Penney! I never had this problem with returns until this year even when they were years old but I still had my receipts, Kohls bills and tags on the items. I am disabled so shopping is very hard for me. I have other crazy stories from this store and 60% of the time I have been there the police are there to arrest someone for retail fraud. I would go elsewhere but it is the closet to me. read more

Two separate bad incidents at Kohl's in the last month. First, a whole shelf of tshirts. taggef $12.99 were marked with a sign on sale $5.99. Cashier tried to charge me $12.99. I mentioned to her tge sign immediately after the sign was changed. Second incident went to buy a purse, forgot my phone. I asked an emoloyee if there was an online coupon & she told me there was not. I get home, checked my phone & there is in fact an online coupon. They'll do anything to charge you more money. I absolutely hate Kohls! I hate their store and customer service. Out of all the department stores they are by far the worst customer service. Always pressuring you, and harassing you about their "deals" even when you tell them you are not interested. I want a good experience. I don't want to feel uncomfortable. Also Josephine from customer service is the worst representative regarding Kohls Charge Card. Very unfriendly and was cantankerous from the start. Will be closing my Charge Card as soon as possible and I will not be back to shop here and will never recommend such a horrible experience to anyone. read more
