After coming here for years I have noticed that the hot food they sell has gone down in quality. I've gotten food poisoning several times eating it so I don't think I'll ever buy the prepared stuff again. I've tried everything from the wings, brisket, and burnt ends but it's all pretty sad. Service isn't too bad, they tend to be kind, they're just selling bad food and cross contaminating like crazy. read more

I want to first say that I have been a supporter of this franchise since opening, was one of my favorite markets, but from the disrespect I've been experiencing From the deli management, I believe his name is ( Sammy ) the African American heavy build man and his quality of service along with the my last purchase from the deli has led to this decision that I'm No Longer A Customer !. No matter when I came he has had a rube and nasty disposition at me, with those working under him taking notice in shock , some apologizing for his behavior, this is not the leadership that should be displayed !. He would go out his way to greet every one around me to, yes angrily rolling his eyes at me. He made it very clear that he had a unwarranted dislike for me, including one visit with my sister accompanying me, which she took offense to his behavior at me as well at her,leaving her waiting unserviced to assist the customer after her, which he would disregard me being next in line as well. One visit I asked the nice young lady if she could make sure my purchasing of chicken was done he over heard our conversation, in the nastiest and rudely demeanor put his hands into my boxed order ( No Gloves) pulling out the meat breaking it saying look, then told her to throw it away!. The last straw was this past weekend ( Friday) with my order, arriving finally to the relax and enjoy to my surprise bitting into my chicken the taste and texture was off. Something told me to take a look at what I had began to eat, to discover the most ( unrecognizable Orange substance, photos are in their gallery ) I had ever seen within any meat within my 60 years !. After the long holding calling the store I was told by him if I was unsatisfied with it, return it,no concern on what I had just explained experiencing eating a foreign substance!. When doing so I was again treated in the same matter his normal at me, then with the management over him, that he had the young lady call to conclude the interaction of my refund, boldly saying with a nasty face it looked like it had been ( inJected), I held my composure, no apology or concern, but (here) ugh face placing my refund in my hand. In a good note I'm grateful and thankful for great customer service that was provided by the young woman that work under him, speaking being polite, he (they) should take notice and follow under their example of being a decent human being that chooses to work in customer services, this would help the business instead of forcing them away !. read more

We love Cattleman's! We go at least once, if not twice a week. It's always clean and has a nice upscale, modern look to it. The meat selection is fantastic - better selection, better quality and less expensive than the local chain grocery stores. Produce, pantry and frozen items have a nice selection, but are not as budget friendly unless they are having a sale on them. The breads and donuts always have something good! They have a nice selection of Towne Club and usually carry other Michigan made foods. We have enjoyed many of their dips, salads and pre-made items as well. Their prepared food is delicious too and has a separate area to make a purchase and sit down to eat if you choose to. read more

The back of the store is a whole refrigerator full of cut meat & fish. Great quality. I go here for all my grilling needs. They have great selection of spices. The rest of the groceries I don't recommend buying unless you want to pay $7 for a box of cereal. But great quality meant selection. This market kinda blew my mind. I mean, as soon as you saunter in you are hit with the smell of smoked meat. I had no intention on ordering ribs, but the aroma enticed me to order a half slab. I walked around to select the items I had gone there to purchase. The market was well stocked and filled with other goodies that I didn't know I wanted. There was a cooked food counter, a deli counter, a seafood counter; and what really impressed me was the huge walk-in meat room. Yep, a meat room. This store is amazing! Quite the selection of fresh meats. Large quantities for a very fair price. In addition, a hot food menu that is so reasonable in price and delicious. Dine in (a small area) or carry out. Just happened to have the King George's patty melt on their weekly special. It was wonderful and huge with french fries included. Made fresh and hot while you wait (which allowed me to pick up a few other specials). Fresh fruits, vegetables, other prepared foods and great bakery also on site. There is a reason you can get a whole New York strip loin or whole Boneless Ribeye for 4.69 lb that is because the beef is from Mexico. If you take a New York strip loin off the shelf you will see the product of Mexico stamp on the kryovac sealed package. With that said that means the meat they cut and hot wrap is the same beef as the whole primal cuts off the shelf. Mexican beef is not graded like beef from the United States. There is no marbling on it that is one of the things that makes beef tender. Mexican beef is tough. a lot of people wont care that it comes from Mexico but Mexican beef is garbage. You are wasting your money and aren't really a good deal like you think you are. So what you need to know This history of the company Cattlemen's was originally founded in April 1969 NOT 1972, my grandpa Harry and his brother Tom Flanary still owned Cattlemen's until my grandpa Harry changed the name in 1974. The Flanary family are the real beef experts not these frauds claiming to be the "Beef Experts" Mexican beef is garbage you can pay a little more and get better quality at Costco and pay wholesale prices for Prime and Choice meat. read more

So, locals were raving over the cheesy garlic dip. I had to find out what the hype was about. I love my dips. The store is clean and organized with a huge deli and meat department. This isn't a specialty store but a regular grocery store. On to the dip. So, the dip is creamy, heavy on the garlic and just addictive. I've bought it twice now and I must say Ritz crackers are the big winner with this dip. I will be back. Nice store. read more

Cattlemans seriously needs to layoff the drugs, their prices are to unreasonable, where I buy fresh meat a 40 pound case of leg and thigh quarters are only $28, the last time I bought them, they charged me $25, where I buy my beef, I got the whole shoulder of the cow for $420, and a ribeyes and T bones steaks for $300, I only shop farms, meat markets and slaughterhouses, look it pays to do your own research and shop around, and when you find a awesome deal, you may think twice before sharing the details, because you want those prices to stay that way, and where I shop, they all take EBT. read more

This is the best place to get Cowboy And tomahawk ribeye steaks. I love their filet's as well. Actually, it's all good. I recently bought 2 salmon kabobs with Jamaican Jerk seasoning, marked down to $12.00, put them on the grill and they turned out fantastic. They have a large bacon selection as well. read more

Wow this store is THE BEST! Not only the fresh meat & vegetables but the service is impeccable! I was searching for hummus. I asked a fella working in the produce. He didn't send me to another part of the store or to someone else, he and another employees both came to find the hummus for me. I thanked them so much for taking the time for me! I have now been there twice and not disappointed either time. My first visit I took my time and walked all around the store before making making any purchases. Bought quite a bit of meat (make sure you dress warm for that room) and stopped at the fish counter. The gentleman who waited on me was very knowledgeable about diabetics and cholesterol and sodium restrictions (he had previously worked in a hospital having chatted further with him) and made several fish suggestions and even helped me try finding a batter that was low on sodium. In the end, that white bass fillets AND yellow perch was amazing even without putting any type of batter on them. That visit was $130.00 due to wishing to try EVERYTHING but this visit was much cheaper and still stocked my freezer well. Everyone is friendly, always someone near by to ask questions, very clean - yes its my new go to for purchasing meat and fish and little odds and ends. read more

Today I went here for my monthly shopping trip, and I was greeted at the register by 2 women. The one ringing us up, WHO WAS SICK. And the one next to her who wouldn't stop talking, then told us to bag our own groceries?? And called my HUSBAND, a woman! "Excuse me ladies, I have a customer at my lane you need to bag your stuff for her". He has a mustache! He's covered in hair! He's very obviously a MAN! Also Why is my cashier here if she's sick? And why is this other one telling me to bag my own groceries? Why is she speaking to us this way? So unprofessional and ridiculous. Your prices have gone up, you stopped making your Italian subs. The person in charge of their advertising flyer cant get it up on time. The old one from the 14th is still up on their website. This place is amazing! Their meat selection is out of this world! (Fresh seafood included!) This place no joke has a walk in Meat locker with more square footage than my entire house. I got a Prime Rib for thanksgiving that was absolutely delicious! They have a deli with chef's always in the kitchen cooking up hot fresh food togo. A bakery with incredible looking fresh cupcakes and pastries. The produce section has a vast variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and herbs. If you are a fan of spices like myself you will swoon over their signature Cattleman's spices! The price on everything in this store are not bad at all considering the quality of what you're getting. The staff was all friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual I never had to seek anyone that worked there out for a question. I am and I know the community is ecstatic that this place chose Center Line for its new location! I hope this place always strives for what I saw during their soft opening because it truly blew me away and exceeded every expectation of what I thought it would be. I've waiting a really long time for this place to finally open, and it was worth the wait. This place has everything from fresh homemade food that you can take home for a quick lunch or dinner, to fresh lunch meats and sausages. The front of the store is a beautiful market with fruits, vegetables, deli counter and anything else you can think of when you go to a high end market. It's similar to a Vince and Joe's or a Randazzo's market. The back of the store is where they keep all the meats. Be warned, wear a coat and gloves, you are entering a cold refrigerator. There they have all the Different cuts of meat. It's all on display with the pictures and descriptions of what choices they have. They also have a fresh seafood section. This place is definitely worth the trip and I think the meat prices are pretty good! read more
