I come here every once in a while to get a snack during work. Great selection of quick drinks and snacks. Always check out the clothing selection as well and clearance because there are sometimes so great deals. Great place to grab some coffee. Tip: stop over to the bakery and they have a shelf of excess donuts (a dozen for $2). One thing I recommend is they update the flower selection. Bouquets could use some work but have great succulents and actual potted plants. read more

Great variety and clean. Two complaints: 1) Items move to different locations interrupt my shopping trying to find them. 2) The turnovers are pretty skimpy on fruit. I'd gladly pay more if you would triple the amount of fruit in them - and not a bunch of jelly, but fruit. Thanks, John read more

This is a really nice Meijer. The store is very clean. Aisles are clear of clutter. Many of the aisles are on the wide side. Several employees were available is most of the sections. Even with masks on they were greeting people. Many of the shelves were full, though there were some products that were completely sold out. There are limits on meat. Even with the limits, the meat department was well stocked. The garden center deserves it's own mention. In June the center was full of health looking plants. There was a particularly large selection of tomato plants. Employees were outside tending to the plants. Various items to tend to your garden may be found in the outside garden center as well. This location has a Tide Dry Cleaners. The photo center has signs up that their photo printer is not working. No word on if this is a temporary setback. Checkout was quick and easy. Several cashiers were open, as well as self checkout. read more

Had a horrible experience with customer service. We purchased a gift card for Christmas. Unfortunately, our dog ate half of the gift card. Went to the store with the gift receipt to get a new gift card or reimburse us so we can get a new gift card and Meijer does not refund gift cards at all. Even though they give you a gift receipt for the card. We have had other incidents in the past but at least Kroger and Walmart made it right when we showed them the receipts. I would definitely recommend asking a place what their policy is before purchasing gift cards. read more

This is an OK Meijer location. It is clean and organized, however quite dark and outdated as it is sorely needing the remodel the Eastgate Meijer has already received. I generally only stop by here if it is more convenient for some reason and I need something specific. They do have a decent selection of items from groceries to homegoods. I usually opt for the self checkout stations. This location happens to have a fairly busy nail business as one of its tenants up front, which I have not seen at other Meijers. read more

Meijers is a funny store. Great produce, nice Pharmacy and they even sell clothes and hardware. My problem with them is their BEEF. Simply horrible. Twice I have bought ground beef and it was gray on the bottom! Just bought their sale price T-Bone steaks. Should have known better. They weren't rated choice or prime only "Angus beef". Worst steak I have ever eaten. Gristle everywhere and TOUGH....zero flavor. Last time I ever buy beef at Meijers. read more

Do not trust this store, and especially management, if you need any thing resolved from a customer service aspect. The lack of accountability is as bad as I've ever seen. They had absolutely ZERO signage up anywhere on their doors, windows, or throughout the store when they decided to implement a no return policy (covid 19). The only thing they had was a small sheet of paper taped to the counter.....at the customer service/returns counter! Obviously this is the last place that kind of information needs to be for people, since everyone would need to know BEFORE they make purchases, that they can't be returned. The manager was as rude as can be about the whole situation, refusing to help or fix the matter, and deflecting blame for the lack of proper signs and information. Now I'm out $225 for a bike that didn't function correctly. And it's a bike....it can be wiped down, like the carts you have no problem strolling out for people to use. read more

While I do most of my grocery shopping at Kroger, sometimes the wife makes me go to Meijer to "Find some deals" And, I'll give it to them, they have some great prices. They also have an electronics section. Kroger has no electronics section. The big problem I have with Meijer is that they have roughly 70 registers, and I've never seen more than 8 open at the same time...it doesn't make any sense. But, they do you do-it-yourself registers...so, sometimes that makes me happy. So, Meijer...you pass inspection. read more

We received a phone message that our prescriptions were ready. The following day we received another automated message with the same information. I went to pick these up on 6/6/18 at 1:00 p.m. Their associate "John" was training another (female) worker. I gave them the necessary information, name, address, date of birth, etc.. and was told there were no prescriptions. We repeated this exercise with no results. They seemed to be very amused about this but I was not. Apparently there was a private joke I wasn't made aware of. I returned home and had my gal call the pharmacy. She was told there were prescriptions ready " for a few days now"! Had to make another trip back to get our meds, did so but received no explanation. I really appreciate the well-stocked store with plenty of room to distance from other shoppers. Their pick-up service is valuable as well!

This Meijer is very clean and in a really good location. The restrooms are not the cleanest but big deal. The staff is very friendly and are always around if you need help finding something. They have just about anything you could need and this place is cheaper then Walmart on most items and they have a good selection of books and clothes and groceries movies and more. read more

Had an awful experience at the Milford Meijer. I had checked out, paid for my groceries and started to leave the store. The alarm at the front of the store went off. It goes off when someone enters the store also. The greeter rushed over and started going through my bags. I explained several times that I just came from a check out line. She then grabbed my purse and water bottle from my cart and asked for my receipt. Then she went through all the items on the receipt asking what they were and wanted me to show them to her. I guess I wasn't fast enough because she started going through everything. All the while I'm telling her I don't have a lot of time and I paid for everything. She got pretty loud and at this point people were stopping and staring. To make matters worse the store manager walked by and exited the store. Never stopped to help. I got home and told my husband and called the store to ask for the greeter's name and was told the incident was addressed. Just wondering if this is normal behavior when the alarm goes off. I've never had my purse grabbed out of my cart previously. If I hadn't grabbed it back I don't know what she would have done with it. read more

I've been shopping there since they opened almost 20 years ago. Always great service and very friendly people. Smiling faces and greeting by name adds a touch of friendliness. I've enjoyed shopping there soo much that a couple years ago I decided to get a job there! At 60 years old, it's a great way to move towards retirement, and beyond. To start off I was a huge fan of this particular location. Unfortunately within the past month I have had terrible experiences and today just topped it off. To start off my family usually leaves me at home while they go camping on the weekends so I can go to work and watch the dogs. So last year I would take regular trips on Friday nights to purchase goods to last me through the weekend. This year my family started to go again and I started my regular routine. When I went for the first time in about two months past 10pm I discovered that one of the sets of doors were locked, I blew it off and used the other doors, the next 4 times this happened I started to get a little mad because it seemed that right as I would enter, they shut the doors and locked them. So last night I was out a little earlier around 9pm and I decided to stop in and pick some things up. I bought two movies to watch and some gum. I checked out and left the store. Before I go on you must also know that I am a huge fan of collecting Blu-rays so I got two blu rays. I got home and opened them from the packaging to find Guardians of the Galaxy not into its disc holder and Ant Man with scratches along its spine. To an ordinary customer this wouldn't have made them mad, but because I collect these things, I expect to find them safe and secure with no mutilations on the box. I told myself that it would be fine because they would be able to take it and I could just grab another antman and switch it out. I went in and went back to the movies. I searched for antman and to my enjoyment they didn't have it. So I walked up to the customer service and waited in the line while one associate deals with a line of customers. I finally make my way up to her and ask if I can get my money back. She declines because they have a policy where they cant take opened movies and they can only trade it in. I politely tell her that the movie is not back there and she tells me to hold on. She walks over to a computer and inputs several ID numbers and passwords getting them wrong each time, telling me she wasn't trained properly. She asks for a manager and the manager comes to talk to me. I show her the scratches on the box and she looks at me with a look she throws down the movie, remind you throws down and not set down, and walks over to a computer. She comes back and tells me that because there is nothing wrong with the disc, she cannot take it. I say ok and walk away. I don't know if it is the staff or if it is Meijer in general but if you are going to sell damaged property you should at least wine and dine your customers before fucking them over. read more
